Even though we didn't have any work performed, I'm giving a five stars because Zach did a great job explaining to us our situation and giving us an honest quote for the work we needed done. We will definitely be calling Zach again for any future plumbing problems.

Arrived the first time, evaluated the job, and said that due to the holiday (he came out on New Year's to give an estimate) - they couldn't get a hold of parts. That was understandable, and he said they could come back the following week. I called dispatch the day before the followup visit, and dispatch confirmed the appointment for the next morning, but after the appointment time passed I called and they said that due to a computer glitch, no one was scheduled to perform the service. Despite promises throughout the day that they would get to us, they never did. Waited around all day. 7 hours later, I called to cancel. Wasted day.

BECAUSE OF COLIN AND PREFERRED PLUMBING I can be thankful this Thanksgiving! Had an emergency and Daniele helped me on the phone with such friendliness and got Colin out within 30 min and problem fixed. Price was great and now we can enjoy holiday. Joe was a blessing and he worked hard at resolving our water line problem. We had a pond in front of our house and we called Preferred Plumbers and Joe came out within the hour. It was late in the day, so he was thorough at explaining the pros and cons. He gave us a quote and was honest at how much time it would take to repair the problem. Either way, we had to get the water leak fixed, so he assured us that he would be back 8 am sharp the next morning to repair the leak. That he was and he did a fabulous job at digging down deep to make sure all the water pipes were repaired and working properly. He worked very hard at making sure the pipes were functioning properly inside and out. He even dug a hole approximately 3 feet deep and cleaned up after himself. Wow, I was impressed how quickly he completed the job. His professionalism and thoroughness were impeccable. We were very pleased with JOES work. His sense of humor and kindness made all the difference in a very stressful situation. Thank you Joe for a job well done.

I was quoted 175.00 to clear my sewer line. When the technician arrived the first thing he said was that it was going to be 240.00 Right off the bat. This was on a Sunday and it was an emergency. I said I had been quoted 175.00 and he responded that they must have given me ""the commercial rate"". I ended up paying 240.00.
When the tech saw the problem he got sort of squeamish and disgusted with it and said ""usually when they're this bad we just call a restoration company"" and that ""I'm not even sure I want to do it "". which is ridiculous on the face of it. Get out of the business if you have a problem with stinky water. It was a backed up sewer. They are never pretty. He was not able to locate the blockage and another company had to handle it. So, I was not at all happy. I think I basically I was a victim of a bait and switch.

Offered a high high estimate. When we said we would look for another plumber the boss called and offered another estimate half of the first. They sent someone who was NOT a plumber who needed 3 hours to unclog one drain. He said it was fixed. The sink still gurgled. 6 weeks later the sink backed up again. I called and expected them to do the right thing and do it right. First I was told someone would call me within 2 hours. I waited over a week. I called again.They offered a fix at another $300 and refused to take responsibility for a job not done properly.. Look elsewhere!
Only money matters to this company. Awful customer service, very unprofessional.

Used these guys in the past, they had done a Groupon and had good success. This job turned out to be a lot more difficult that it seemed at first. Joshua ""tech"" 32"" treated us very fair and it was completed to my satisfaction at a fair price.

They will work with you which is what I appreciated.

Dave was absolutely great. I had him quote a water line for a new fridge and a gas line for a new stove. He was the third I had quote, I always get three quotes when I have the time. Like the rest, he climbed into the crawl space to inspect for the quote. He was the only one to inform me that there already was a gas line roughed in for a stove, just capped off in the wall. He literally saved me thousands. He then returned the next day to install the water line and gas valve. I was very impressed and very thankful that a friend suggested I call them.

Our 20 year H20 water softener unit met its demise and a valve was leaking.We needed to have copper pipes soldered to replace the bypass valve H20. Other plumbing company did not return call and I had to recall them. PP&D responded quickly, sent a tech and called to confirm the time of arrival.

I guess the satisfaction rate really depends on the service person. Anton and David responded to our service call and did an excellent job. It was the first day on the job for one of them.

The company, however, seems to lack professional resources. Called to set up water softener installation. The Company said they would call back after we had the item. We informed them by telephone and website messages.We left numerous messages informing them we had the item.

No response. Telephoned them and they inquired which part we needed? Explained again it was an installation appointment.

They said they would call back with appointment date...no callback. I called again.This time, we were informed that "" I will check with my supervisor"" regarding the estimate, with a supposed call back within 20 minutes. No callback.

Given the fact that they had known what we required, that THEY said to inform them when we had the water softener, that THEY said they would call but did never did, that THEY could not readily provide an estimate but had to contact a supervisor, makes me think that they had no one qualified to do the work and or no one had experience installing a water softener, which seems incredulous for a plumbing company. Courteous on the telephone, but with NO follow-up regarding their statements. Called another outfit, got an estimate, with a great 1-year installation guarantee plus they will haul away the old water softener that has been sitting in our driveway for about 10 days. Why a company states they want the job, but does nothing tangible towards achieving being hired makes me very leery regarding their professional standards. Sad.

Absolutely amazing service!! Brandon and his apprentice were extremely professional, arrived in less than an hour, and explained everything they were doing along the way. They turned a stressful, and very crappy (pun intended) situation, into an enjoyable afternoon. Ultimately it didn't cost nearly as much as I thought it would, and I am beyond grateful they have emergency service available so quickly!! Thank you Brandon for making us laugh, and keeping us entertained as you helped solve our messy bathroom situation. If we ever need plumbing services again, we know EXACTLY who to call.
