Ulysses was great. He took his time to inspect the air conditioning system and clean the coils. No pressure to but anything of made up "" issues"" with the system. Just pleasant and timely service

Some of their techs are good but last year the tech didn't do the work properly so I had to again spend a lot to try to keep my older air conditioner alive. Also parts/supplies are hugely marked up. I called a smaller company and could have saved 30-40% . Their techs get paid commission and it shows. Definitely recommend getting several bids before going with this company.

Updated review.... Ofcourse they came back out with some new BS trying to charge more money giving me the same analogy as they did before oh it's like a new car but the battery just runs out as to before it was blown tires ... now they tell me it's your voltage regulator is no good. umm your company is a f scam you claim to be a veteran own company when all you do is scam people you keep creating problems to keep coming back! I told the guy we're done with you! I hired an independent contract who fixed the actual problem within 30min and also the wiring was incorrect! You're a terrible terrible company who keeps people in debt! I will update my BBB claim with the video from the contractor and I will look for a way to pursue legal action but I will do everything in my power to out you to everyone so you have no business left! You really messed with the wrong military family! My husband is a 100 percent disabled veteran and this is how to treat us?

It's March 25th 2025. Precision has been out 3 time within a year.

July 2021 Precision replaced my unit. I was recently EAS'd from the Marine Corps and literally googled/Searched Veteran owned air conditioner companies. After several quotes I went with them, after listening to their phone recording talking about how the owner or founder was a Marine Corps veteran I was sold. I was told during the quote I would get a new system and duct work and they would be on and off my roof in only a few hours.
Crane dropped the unit on my roof so hard my light fixture on my garage fell off the wall and was being held on by the wiring only. We went outside to confront the team to ensure everything was alright and they had the audacity to say it was like that when they got here, even though we literally came outside because of the loud thump.
Almost 8-10 hours later they were done...

Biggest regret I have, had in this house by far. Within the first year there was a manufacturer malfunction. Which I was told I should be grateful labor wasn't being charged. They also had to come fix an intake grill that also wasn't properly installed.

We called them out for inspection due to poor flow and through our ignorance not realizing we didn't have No new duct work installed when they put the unit in. The reason they gave as I was told my house has metal ductwork built in and wouldn't be possible to install.. even though during the inspection and walk through during the quote the expert said ""new duct work would increase the flow to our addition"" which was one of our biggest concerns.

Several other visits include

Check and found bad capacitor 40/10 and blower door insulation came off suck onto blower
Replaced 40 and 10 capacitor and reglued insulation to blower panel.

EVAPORATOR COIL CLEANING

Recently overload protection installed and blower motor ""circuit board"" replaced (not related to the blower door insulation) so they say. All within 4 years.
The most recent technician also told my wife that new blower motors are wear and tear items. They're like tires on a car and it happens all the time here in Arizona.

Lived in 2 prior homes. None of which ever need any maintenance outside of coil cleaning and that was in a home-with 20+ years the same unit and the the second 8 years and counting on the same unit with no repairs outside of a Schrader valve in Yuma, Az.

Unbelievable.

Follow up.
""Arrived at customer's home for no cooling inspection upon testing the system I realized that the compressor voltage
regulator was faulty. After informing customer about current issue, it was expressed that he did not want to go through with
the estimate provided. Upon leaving, I left unit disconnect in off position to prevent wear on other components, in the
meantime.""

1 month from the original diagnosis the unit shut off and even though it's the same symptoms as a month ago now it's something different.

No it was not explained to us at the time of install. It was explained to us after the installation was already completed. If this was true not true, why was it not told to us prior too or during the walk-through inspection and initial quote? It was expressed during the quote this was what and why we went with your company. So do you not guarantee your initial quotes or inspections??

Updated 3/27/25
Independent contractor and secondary company also came through and much different than your technician that came out yesterday that suggested we top off refrigerant, and bypass the second stage. It was found that the main capacitor was wired incorrectly, causing an extra load on it. NO refrigerant required. No additional gimmick. AC is on and running in under 30 minutes with a current at the vent temperature blowing out is 49.8°. No loud clicking when going from first stage to second stage like previously experienced over the past three years. WOW.

Just a brief follow up to my last 5 star review. I had purchased a 5 year maintenance agreement and opted to purchase a whole new AC unit a year after. Due to some overstock issues and available financing I purchased from another company. I wrote to Precision explaining this and low and behold, they refunded me the money on the agreement.. I fully expected a denial of my request but its obvious this is a family owned business that understands the ways of life and treats people right. Thank you for honoring the fine print of the agreement. I will still highly recommend you.

Had an initial issue but resolved with the manager. Quality work and techs have arrived on time all 3 times I have used them. I appreciated their follow up.

The business owner doesn't really seem to care. If you look at what they respond to every time you give them a bad review it's a generic response if they truly meant what they said and offer great service they can improve their service tremendously. There's no need for an eight hour window. I called their competitor and I was able to get a 2 1/2 to 3 hour window, which is more reasonable again I would never recommend precision air to anyone and the owner to do themselves a favor stop responding with fake and meaningless feedback. If you truly meant it, you would improve your service.

Dec 11th, two techs from Precision Air: Ike and Zane installed the split system. They spent 8 hours from 8am to 4pm. At the end they told me, the new Trane Blower motor is not good and they have to come back and install another brand new OEM Trane Blower motor.

Dec 14th, Chris Moody delivered a new Blower motor. I told him right away, the labels on the blower do not match the original, which is already installed. He told me, the motors are the same. He installed the new Blower Motor, but it would not start working. He called Mark Moses. That person told him the control board for the air handler is bad and Chris should try to replace it. Chris went to Chandler and brought a new board. He told me this new board from the 5 Ton Air Handler, but that is ok, he will adjust the DIP switches to decrease the speed. The new board installed by Chris made the Blower Motor running. Chris told me, his job is done, he is here just to replace the Blower Motor and he is in a hurry to run to a next job in New River. We tested the heating cycle and the cooling cycle. All this testing was done while we were standing by the thermostat. I mentioned to Chris: The new condenser pad was not delivered, the old pad was used. He said, he will ask the management to adjust the invoice with a refund/credit for the missing pad.

When Chris was gone. I have noticed the Air Handler is running very loud in every room of the house and blowing too much air. We could not sleep all night, that's how loud the system is running. We could not sleep all night, that's how loud the system is running. It is so drafty! On Sunday morning, I called Precision Air and told them my trouble. Debbie called me back and told me Jonathan, the most experienced person will come today to troubleshoot. Jonathan told us the system is running fine. I had to beg his to adjust dip switches: ""Dip switch's not set up right for the tonnage of the a/c unit and Is trying to move to much air."" Finally he adjusted them and the system started working as it should

As a customer, I am not happy with this company. I paid for a Cadillac system and Enhanced installation, but received bad service

Super Expensive

Elderly couple next door was just charged $3000.00 for a 50 gallon gas water heater replacement with no complications

Ridiculous when you consider you can buy a quality water heater yourself for less than $800

I used to be a Precision guy, got a full 2-unit Trane system from them, a member of the ""club"" and all that. Until I realized how much they were charging was a lot more than other companies. And, are more concerned with filling quotas. The last time they checked my system everything was fine (at least that's what the report said). A couple of months after, of course when the warranty just runs out, they tell me a couple of wires were shorting out (guess those went unnoticed) and the evaporator coil was bad. Either replace it for about $7k (not knowing if it would last) or replace the entire system for about $16k. Guess Covid prices are still in effect. But, why would I buy new units when the EPA regulations are shifting to R-454B and R-32 refrigerants? In any case, I used another company to service the units and they are running strong. No new parts. Here's hoping you have a great experience with them but luckily there are as many AC companies as there are Starbucks in this state!
