I have done business with other plumbing Companies a lot I own a 2 flat.
Power plumbing has been the best Company I have used in 24YRS. Rae the owner is very professional and accommodating. She is a very good
owner and hires the best Licenced, Union employees. MIke and Levon are the best plumbers I have dealt with. They are professional, they know what they are doing and will explain your problem in detail. I have referred Power Piumbing to other building owners that I know. They do not try and try and rip you off and Rae runs a very honest business.

James came out to fix my toilet and sink. He was so easy going and did a great job. Pricing is what you would expect for a quality plumber. I don't think you can expect much cheaper and get quality work. The job was well done and he made me feel comfortable every step of the way. We also had some great conversation.. I highly recommend having James come out and fix your next plumbing need.

I've had multiple great experiences with Power Plumbing. I've always received great customer service and excellent follow up when trying schedule an appointment. John is my forever plumber as he is extremely knowledgeable, very caring and polite and passionate about his work. He takes his craft very seriously and it comes through in his work and wonderful spirit. I would certainly recommend them to anyone with plumbing needs. They are dependable, ethical, and stand behind their work!!!

I had a burst pipe in a building I own with tenants and live in. It was the evening and I called a number of plumbers. One competitor that offers 24-hour emergency service said they could take me no sooner than the next week.
I called Power Plumbing and the receptionist volunteered to explain how the charges for after-hours work were calculated. I talked to my tenants and decided to arrange for work the next day. Mike B. came out the next day but was unable to complete the job because the water needed to be shut off and neither of us could locate the shutoff (dumb of me to not know, but I just bought this building). He had me call 311 to ask the city to shut off the water. Which they did around 9:30 that evening (The shutoff was near the sidewalk under dirt, grass, tree roots, and old snow.) He came back the next day and was able to quickly finish the job.
I was very impressed that the potential charges (hourly rates, minimums for off-hours work, billed increments) were described to me beforehand on the phone and that there were no surprise charges or inflated costs. I was also impressed with Mike B.'s customer service, including helping me to work with 311 and to know what to expect from the city (Department of Water Management can take up to 2 days to shut off your water and they work around the clock). We also discussed the problems with the house (thanks, previous owner!) that led to the pipe burst, how to prevent this from happening again in the short term, and thoughts about how to make sure future renovations can fix this house's flaws. I was also impressed that they were able to come to an appointment on the same day when many competitors were swamped (pipe burst epidemic, early January '18) and couldn't do any better than an appointment 2 days out. Thanks Power Plumbing!

I had a plumbing emergency with a burst pipe at 2 in the morning, called them and got operator 7 (she would not give me her name) and she was incredibly rude and not helpful, she told me to stop talking when I was just asking questions, I hope the actual plumbers are more professional but honestly this woman gave me one of the rudest customer service experiences I've ever had.
Update: I was told a tech would call me with pricing and an ETA, no one has ever called. This was 12 hours ago.

Very happy with Power Plumbing and Mike B. One day water stared pouring out of the bottom of my garbage disposal. Living in a high rise means only certain plumbers can do the job. I got a referral to Power Plumbing and I'm so happy I called them. Quick, efficient, professional and friendly. They provided an accurate cost estimate up front. What more could you ask for!

They've done a number of jobs for me. Always good quality work and mostly pleasant plumbers. But they are expensive. Just had an ejector pump replaced for over $900. Last time I had the pump replaced about 5-6 years ago, it cost me $400 and change.

The contractor who remodeled our bathroom did a nice job on everything but the plumbing. In fact, he made a mess of the pipes and somehow managed to get construction debris into the pipes, clogging the whole system Erik came in and solved our problem, although it was not easy. Erik also corrected some of this contractor's other messes. We have used Power before and they have always been wonderful. Super job, Erik and, thanks. Thank you, too, Rae, for being so responsive to our situation.

Our basement system backed up (toilet, shower, washing machine) and we called at 7pm on a Monday night, Power Plumbing was able to send 2 of their guys out first thing the next morning to look at our problem. They kept us updated the entire time on what the issues were and fixed it in a matter of a few hours. Issues like these are definitely emergencies so truly thank you for helping get back to normal so quickly!

I was referred to Power Plumbing when my sink garbage disposal stopped working. Called to schedule an appointment a little after 4CT and was transferred to an answering service. I've never experienced a representative so rude or off-putting, and all she needed to do was take down my contact information. Her tone was mean and condescending and she hung up mid way through the conversation. When I called back she hung up immediately. Will not be doing business with a company that exposes their potential clients to such poor customer service.
