I love this company!! We've used the Plumbing Source several times for different plumbing issues in our house as well as in our new bathroom. They have never let us down or disappointed. They are always reasonable with their charges, always timely and somehow they always manage to fit us in. Rick is knowledgable, does great work, is easy to talk to and explains the issues so there are no surprises. Shannon, in the office, is the sweetest person you could ever talk to. She returns phone calls immediately and never leaves you hanging. They are a great team! You won't be sorry for choosing the Plumbing Source!!

Shannon handled my call both quickly and professionally. I described the problem that we had with a faucet in the bath that wouldn't turn off.
Rick and Eddie showed up within a couple of hours during the time window that we had specified. They were friendly and fast. They also came with masks which showed a certain level of respect and professionalism. The price was totally fair.
I will definitely use this company again to handle my plumbing needs. Job well done!

Rick and family are incredibly cordial, professional, timely and know their plumbing. Had them out today to clear a very rooted yard drains they went above and beyond to clear a tough pipe way.
We are more than impressed and happy with their work. Definitely suggest them to anyone looking for a necessary plumbing repair.

They saved us today, our shower wouldn't shut off so had to turn the water off, they came out the same day to fix it and didn't charge extra for the emergency. Will be using them for
Now on

Outstanding service from start to finish. Would use them again. Very professional from Shannon to when the job was finished.

Kitchen drain was clogged. They did a great job. It only took them about ten minutes to clear the blockage and get the drain open.
Fast and Professional at a reasonable price. I will definitely call them again for any future plumbing issues.

The communication with this company was quick and comprehensive. The woman who answered the phone, Shannon, listened and was able to provide me with the correct service. The company was available through text messaging and regular calls which was very convenient. They were able to send out two technicians the very same day to help me finish the installation of my faucet. The two young men worked quickly and did not overcharge. Thanks Ivan and Eddie. Pottery Barn did not provide the correct parts but these young men had everything in their truck. It saved me from a third trip to the hardware store.

I tried a number of ingenious home remedies to unclog the kitchen sink. I did not want to have to call a plumber, but finally this morning that is just what I did. I called The Plumbing Source because they were local and I had seen their trucks. Otherwise I was flying blind. I asked if someone could come the same day. Yes.
It was not a simple job; there was no trap to use. They worked for a long time and I was afraid they weren't going to be able to get it, but they did. I still don't know what had clogged the pipe. One thing they didn't find was any grease after all the boiling water and multiple treatments I had put through there. It was something I couldn't have done myself and under the circumstances I was happy with the price. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

In mid-Dec 2019 we had water slowing leaking from the side of our house to the yard. We called Pop's Family Plumbing. Rick (the owner) along with one of his folks came out and said we had a slab leak and needed to reroute some pipes in the kitchen area. They came back and did the work the next day which involved opening some holes in a few drywalls and ceiling. In addition, they replaced the mainline regulator and decided to increase the water pressure from 50 PSI to 60 (later we learned this was not a good idea - see below). They charged a total of $ 3,265 for this work, quite expensive!
Less than a week later we had another leak, this time inside the house which caused a significant amount of water damage to several areas (guest bedroom, family room, pantry, toilet, hallway, etc.). The carpet in the guest room was soaked and had to be completely removed. Water would seep from in-between planks in the hardwood floor when you stepped on them. This was Dec 21st, right before Christmas and we had family coming to stay with us. Needless to say, we were anxious to get this problem fixed. So, we called back Pop's plumbing. Rick was not able to make it that day, but he came over the next day. He and his co-worker looked to detect the source of the leak for a while. At the end Rick said it was in the garage and did a small reroute and charged another $1,450. We had not seen any water at that location but were hoping they knew what they were doing and solved the problem. Well, we were not so lucky!
Water continued to leak into all the same locations. Whatever it was that they did in the garage for $1,450 was a waste of time and money. We called them back and they came over on Dec 23rd. They looked for the source of the leak but could not pinpoint it. Rick suggested we should repipe the whole house and his price was $8,000.
By then we had paid $4,715 to Pop's plumbing plus thousands more for restoration. We were not going to spend another $8,000. At that point we decided to have a second plumber look at our problem. These guys found the source of the leak very quickly and fixed it for only $800! The leak was no-where near the garage where Rick had done the repipe for $1,450! It was behind the coat closet. We also learned that changing water pressure from 50 to 60 was a No-No. Increasing the pressure on older pipes could cause more pinholes and that was probably the cause of our second leak.
Needless to say, our Christmas plans were ruined while family was visiting. For several days we had to turn off water to the whole house for extended periods - very tough on us and our guests. We also had to cut walls open, remove some flooring, base boards, and run loud fans for days to prevent mold from forming. Horrible experience!
After two months we are still not done with all the repairs. This all could have been easily avoided by proper detection and repair of a simple leak which Pop's Family Plumbing was not able to do. We did send an email to them and asked them to refund the $1,450. They ignored our first email and after sending a second one they replied but refused. Very disappointing service! Obviously, we would not recommend them.
By the way for those of you who are considering repiping your house, there are several very good companies in Orange County. We have since done a lot of research about repiping and got multiple quotes. Pop's price is higher.

My main water shutoff valve started leaking, it was old and rusty with half of the knob broken off. I submitted a request on Angie's List and Pop's Plumbing got back to me quickly. I sent them photos and got an estimate, they were on their way before the hour was over! Replaced the shutoff valve and pressure regulator, new ones are shiny and work great. They guys are very clean and professional, saved their number in case I needed help with plumbing, would recommend to a friend!
