Rick and Shannon have been our plumbers here at our church of 600 people and for my family of 6 people! It doesn't matter the size of the job they are sweet from the initial call, to repair, and buttoning up. They've dug trenches at our church to repair
a pipe with roots growing through it to replacing toilets and faucets for washing machine hoses. Shannon is sweet on the office end and Rick and his guys are pros in the field! Singing their praises. Pastor StevieB

Bottom line, really pleased with The Plumbing Source!

Had a leak and tried to fix it myself, after wasting a half a Saturday realized it was over my head and would have to call a professional. Actually the plumber I usually call flaked out and I got the Plumbing Source as a a referral. Worked out well.

First they were great at communicating, pleasant to speak with, and letting me know when they would show up.

Rick the plumber is just a really personable guy which always helps. I watched him do the work because I just kind of find it interesting. I'm no pluming expert but know enough to know he was doing the job right so it would last. He worked fast, cleaned up, and was respectful of my wife's rose bushes which made access to the work area a bit tricky, which probably made it a little tougher on him.

I knew about how much the job should cost before I called them for an estimate, and their prices were fair and reasonable. Upon completion, final price was what I expected. No surprises, no nonsense and he didn't try to up-sell me anything. (That always ticks me off)

As a bonus, they way he did the piping, he set it up that if the part that failed needs replacing down the road, I could do it myself.

They also called me the next day to follow up and make sure everything was working properly,

All in all, great to work with. Quality work at a fair price!

I hate leaving bad reviews but this experience was unreal. I called the main number and explained my situation to the receptionist, who was very kind. I explained that we just purchased a house with a pool and the POA informed us we needed to have an additional gas line installed to reach to our driveway due to the location of our propane tank - which hadn't been installed yet. This apparently was a common issue because all of the homes in our community are custom & the lot layouts are kind of odd. The receptionist said, ""No problem! We are happy to help! I'll have him call you right back."" ""GREAT,"" I thought! I figured it would be fixed in no time.
I got a call back in a few moments. I explained the whole situation, to the best of my ability - as I am NOT a plumber. If I was - I wouldn't have called. He was extremely condescending because I couldn't explain EXACTLY what needed to be done - literally - EXACTLY what needed to be done. I explained what I was told by the POA & the propane company several times. He told me, ""Why don't you have your husband call me?"" Excuse me?!
Then he said, ""I called a buddy of mine in Connecticut and he says if I do this job I could blow up the whole city. You can't run gas line like this. They have trucks with long hoses."" I was in disbelief. I said, ""So, let me understand, you won't even come out to LOOK at the issue?"" He says, ""Not without a letter from the city telling me what they need."" I again explained that the CITY is who told me to CALL!! Finally, I just hung up.
The final result? The next day, a different plumber came out, looked at the situation, installed a simple line, charged us $300, our propane tank was installed, the city signed off and we are having a pool party this weekend. The end.
UPDATE: Not five min after I wrote this review, I recieved the most unbelievable phone call from a ""lady"" from The Plumbing Source to ""confront"" me. I was in shock! I said, ""You're upset because I said exactly what happened so you call me to harass me?!"" She said, ""Bottom line, you got your problem fixed! So, why does any of that matter?"" I can't believe this! These people are loony! I said, ""I'm going to update my review to let people know you've called me to harass me about this."" Her answer: ""Go ahead. I'll just have Yelp remove it."" I've never experienced anything so strange with a place of business. Twilight Zone.....

Wow! These guys blew our mind! We were having trouble getting our water to work, it was ""on"" but no water would come through the house. We called them up and they came out within the next few hours to help us out. They discovered the problem, fixed it, found some suggestions to help us save money on our water bill, and left us very happy. We didn't feel pressured at all to go with them, but their friendliness and speed of service won us over. The sweet girl on the phone was helpful, understanding, knowledgable, and very friendly! Rick and his son-in-law co-plumber were professional, clean, very quick, and thorough in work ethic. We will be using The Plumbing Source for all our plumbing needs from here on out, and we definitely recommend them to everyone!

Oh did I forget to mention, we called them two days later to install a regulator, one of their suggestions, and we are sooo happy we did. These guys are really great! Call them up today!

Work up one morning with no hot water coming into the kitchen ? Called Plumbing Source, Rick came to the house, diagnosed the problem and fixed it (faucet was clogged from hard water deposits). He also checked our hot water heater and suggested that we have it cleaned out as mineral deposits were collecting because of our hard water, and that's was caused the problem in the kitchen faucet. . . . . made a second appt. Rick came back and cleaned the hot water heater out. Customer service is top notch, Rick is very knowledgeable which made the diagnosis quick and inexpensive. Thank you Plumbing Source, great job!

After doing a kitchen remodel, I needed to connect and install a brand-new dishwasher, a garbage disposal, a new faucet and re-pipe everything under the new kitchen sink. I thought it would be easy to just go to Home Depot and do it myself..... I am glad I listened to my wife and I called Rick at The Plumbing Source. Rick is very friendly and knowledgeable. He installed everything in less than an hour and even saved me some money on some parts. Most people do not have a need for a plumber until they have an emergency at home, and some plumbers may take advantage of you being in a desperate situation, but not Rick. He is fair and honest.
