Our spa water level was dropping every time we used it (and even when the pump was off) and our pool service technician suggested we call a pool leak inspector. I called 3 companies after Googling and reading reviews and Mike was the most responsive, polite and available to schedule with (within a few days). Mike and his team arrived earlier than expected (which happened to work out) and was quickly able to locate the leak. Mike is personable, extremely knowledgeable and able to explain the issue in simple terms. He provided the report later that day, along with pricing (reasonable) to complete the job and scheduled the repair for a couple days later. On repair day they arrived on time, did exactly what they said they would and had completed the job several hours later. I was very satisfied and the experience overall was positive and I would recommend them.
About a week later however, we used the spa again and the water again dropped (quite quickly). I texted Mike immediately and turns out he had already called me back later that evening and left a message. We connected the next morning and after explaining the issue he agreed to come out that same day to take a look. He arrived in the afternoon with his crew and set to work right away. A second ""leak""/issue was quickly discovered and he expeditiously completed the repair there and then, acknowledging that these things get missed sometimes. He proceeded to test the system once the repair was done to make sure that really did solve the issue once and for all.
I was highly impressed with his professionalism, quick response time and ability to get the job done. It's hard to find service like that and I appreciate it immensely. Highly recommend.

Observing that the water level in my 14' x 8' spa was dropping precipitously - ever downward it went - I believed a leak was suspect. Good fortune was on my side having made the decision to contact Mike, owner of Pool Leak Inspections. Mike is an individual with enviable knowledge, talent, intellect, and good judgment. His responsiveness was unmatched as he persevered expeditiously to locate the source of the leak. With laser focus Mike revealed his findings: a teeny, tiny pinhole in the 45-year-old underground copper piping was the culprit. I commend Mike for his exemplary skills in identifying the problem and I knew I could entrust him to successfully repair the leak. Without hesitation Mike arranged for his team of two to be here to fix the leak - and that they did. I agreed with Mike's advisement to replace the defective copper piping with PVC. I applaud Mike and his team for their unwavering professionalism. Mike returned the following day at my request to explain to me the inner workings of the system which will need adjustment from time to time. As an 80-year-old widow I extend accolades to Mike for his patience and resolve. Knowing that the spa does not have to be filled each day has provided a calming effect. Aside from his evident expertise, Mike has a warm and friendly demeanor and was a pleasure to work with - I recommend him highly for all pool and spa leak inspections and repairs - you won't be disappointed.

There are few people who come into your life who truly make a difference. Mike was one of them. Anyone who has a pool leak, especially during these times, knows how stressful it could be. Mike and his team came over multiple times, and diagnosed the problem. It was a little more of a challenge than I anticipated, and I'm sure it was more of a challenge than Mike anticipated, but he still thoroughly diagnosed and treated the issue. His price was fair, and he honored his quote even though he did more work than anticipated. He has come over multiple times since to make sure everything was working fine. I had a little bit of a scare a few weeks later, but it turned out to be nothing. Mike still came over to check it out. I could not be happier with the service. Mike is not just another worker who comes to do a job. He's competent, professional, timely, and very personable. He truly made a difference in our lives. BEWARE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!
I spoke with Mike re: leak detection for my combo pool/H20 (more like a pond- only 3'D on the deepest end.) His website lists the leak detection price as $250 for a pool/spa. He told me $395.
We scheduled an apptmt. As per his instruction, I had to make arrangements for my pool man to turn the H20fall off (when he came the wk. prior.) I scheduled an apptmt. with Mike. NO SHOW. I called him. He said I had the wrong day. Despite the fact I wrote the apptmt. in my datebook, he scheduled a 2nd date.
This time he showed up. He wanted to park his truck on my very steep driveway rather than in front of it on the st. I never allow anyone to park there as it's an accident waiting to happen. Very tricky to maneuver and if you don't curve to the left when you back out you will hit the electric gate, which is very costly to repair. He got nasty about it and said ""Then call someone else!"" So I relented and allowed him to park there. He & his assistant looked at my pool/H20 fall only to tell me he needs to come back because he needs a jackhammer to access the pipe. (DUH! Wouldn't you automatically bring a jackhammer with you in case you need one to do the inspection? And why would he need to park in my driveway when he didn't even bring the equipment to do the inspection?)
He said he needed to schedule another apptmt BUT he was going out of town to Brazil, so I would have to wait until he returned. Another couple weeks delay!!! So I scheduled apptmt. #3. And it gets worse~ it would now cost me another $125 on top of the $395 quoted! BAIT AND SWITCH!
The magic day arrived. I waited from 10AM-12PM, his usual ""2 hr."" time frame. NO SHOW (again.) NO PHONE CALL. I called him @ 12:30 & left a cheerful message asking if he was ""on his way."" NO RETURN CALL TO THIS DAY.
3 APPTMTS. & 1 MONTH LATER here I sit. Right where I started. Now I have to start the process all over again looking for a leak detection company as Mike is totally unreliable, unequipped, and rude.

Mike is very professional, effective and practical. He came to my pool and found the leak, then I received the leak report and repair estimate. I thought for a while if I needed to have the whole swimming pool replastered. But I decided on a cheaper solution. Their solution is not a quick fix (usually 600) . They practically replastered the area where the cracks were. They came a day earlier to drain the water, and repaired my cracks in hours. I filled the water the next day. My pool is back to normal. I waited three weeks to write this review, and so far no leak. They have two year warranty, and it is the main reason that I chose Mike.

I am glad that I made the right choice and strongly recommend Mike.

Mike and his team were extremely professional, thorough and did a great job! We had a small leak and also needed to move our pool pit. They were available to start on short notice and explained the entire process for us. Mike came personally to check the status and updates as the team worked. Communication was instant. I trust their work, very clean and they did it all at a fair price. Highly recommend!

We thought, due to the water loss from our covered pool over the winter season, that we had a leak. The men from this company came out and found no leaks were present. Before starting the main guy, didn't get his name, told me that 1/2 an inch per week with a covered pool in our area was to be expected and that corresponded to the level of water loss. They were punctual, professional, friendly, and informative. Can't ask for more.

Let me start by saying, I NEVER leave negative reviews. I would rather move along and let things go. I am unable to let this service go! We had a leak visible as the backyard dirt by the pool line was always moist. We had our landscapers come out a triple check all irrigation and even shut off those lines out. We selected this company to come out due to the good reviews...on 8/24/2021 they ""found"" leak in the two cracks in the spa. They suggested a patch job by their company would take care of it..we went with that analysis and paid $1000 for both inspection and patch job. The patch job seem sloppy at first glance but I was just happy the leak was stopped....after weeks and weeks of waiting for dirt to dry (some rain so we stayed positive)..it did not. We called them back out on 9/24/2021 and they complete another ""inspection""! They found that the pebbletec plaster in the spa was brittle and that was where the water was leaking from!! I mentioned that they had previously stated it was the cracks and Mike mentioned that those were leaking too but the brittle pebbletec was the REAL issue!! So we tried to get the brittle pebbletec quotes and every contractor that came out mentioned that didn't seem right..For weeks we turned off all pool plumbing to not cause further damage to block wall!! I'm even reached out for a quote for them as they were the only ones able to CONFIRM the issue!

After a couple of months of troubleshooting we decided to contact another pool leak detection company. They came out, inspected all lines and plaster and found that our waterfall jet in the spa needed a $150 stop valve so the spa water would stop draining into pool and cause the overfilled water to leak though overfill crack (fixed with waterproof caulking-$7)!!!

We are thankful the leak was detected and properly analyzed by another company...lesson learned!!! My family hopes this review helps another family save some $$$$ and avoid this company at ALL COST!!!!!

Mike solved my pool leak issues very quickly.
I had a pool remodel and the contractor, plumber and plaster guys
could not figure out the leaks. We were loosing a ton of water daily.
Mike came out, ran his tests, and figured out the problems very quickly.
He was thorough, kind, helpful, skilled, honest, trustworthy....
