Michael Phillips serves as a Fifth generation plumbing professional. Michael has dedicated his life involved with his family in the plumbing and construction sectors in Florida since he could first walk. Michael actually consistently joined service calls with his father starting at age 4. His direct relatives boasts more than 16 or more plumbers & nine or more plumbing/general contractors in the Central and South Florida areas dating back to the late 19th century. The Phillips family has contributed in plumbing, construction & construction materials that have contributed to creating what we now call Miami Beach commonly called ""South Beach"", North Miami, North Miami Beach, as well as many other locations like greater Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County and Polk County regions.

His great great grandfather William S. ""Snooky"" Phillips started ""Miami Plumbing & Heating Co."" in 1899 in Miami, Florida. William's parent was also construction & early plumbing systems in the mid to late 1800s. While not much is known about him aside from that, family tradition says he worked in construction and plumbing, employed by railroad tycoon Henry Flagler. He is considered one of the initial plumbing contractors in Florida to be issued a plumbing contractor's license by Dade County, because of his parent's supposed affiliation with Henry Flagler & the fact that at that time there was minimal regulation or plumbing code at any level of government was established. In those days the contractor's licensing occurred at the county level and not at the state level as it is done today. For his relatives, the term ""Grandfathered"" has literal meaning.
