Our founder serves as a Fifth generation plumbing professional. He has spent years engaged with his relatives in the plumbing and construction sectors in Florida since he could first walk. He truly consistently went on service calls with his father starting at age four years old. His direct relatives includes over 16+ plumbers & nine or more plumbing/general contractors in the Central & South Florida areas going back to the late 1800's. The family of Phillips has participated in plumbing, construction & construction materials that have played a role in creating what we now call Miami Beach commonly called ""South Beach"", North Miami, North Miami Beach, as well as many other areas such as greater Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County and Polk County areas.

His ancestor William S. ""Snooky"" Phillips started ""Miami Plumbing and Heating"" in 1899 in Miami, Florida. His parent was involved in construction & initial plumbing systems in the mid to late 19th century. Although little more is factually known about him aside from that, family tradition claims he participated in construction and plumbing, working for railroad tycoon Henry Flagler. Snooky was said to be one of the initial plumbing contractors in Florida to be issued a plumbing contractor's license by Dade County, thanks to his parent's alleged affiliation with Henry Flagler & the fact that at that time there was minimal regulation or plumbing code at any level of government were in place. At that time the contractor's licensing took place at the county level and not at the state level as it currently is. For the Phillips family, the term ""Grandfathered"" has literal meaning.
