Our founder is a Fifth-generation plumbing professional. Michael has dedicated his life involved with his relatives in the plumbing and construction sectors in Florida since he could first walk. He literally and routinely joined service calls with his dad starting at age four. His close family boasts more than sixteen or more plumbers & nine or more plumbing/general contractors in the Central & South Florida areas tracing back to the late 1800s. The Phillips lineage has contributed in plumbing, construction & building materials that have gone into creating what we now know as Miami Beach aka ""South Beach"", North Miami, North Miami Beach, including many other areas including greater Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County and Polk County regions.

Michael's great-great-grandfather William S. ""Snooky"" Phillips founded ""Miami Plumbing and Heating"" in 1899 in Miami, Florida. Snooky's father was also construction & early plumbing systems in the mid to late 19th century. Despite limited information about him beyond that, family legend claims he was involved in construction and plumbing, working for railroad tycoon Henry Flagler. Snooky was said to be one of the pioneering plumbing contractors in Florida to be issued a plumbing contractor's license by Dade County, because of his father's reported affiliation with Henry Flagler & the fact that at that time there was minimal regulation or plumbing code at any level of government existed. At that time the contractor's licensing was done at the county level and not at the state level as it is done today. For the Phillips family, the term ""Grandfathered"" has literal meaning.
