As a dissatisfied customer, I posted my thoughts and advised ""buyer beware"" with Yelp and BBB in Dec/22.

I never imagined I would receive a call 3-days later from the CEO asking me to share my experience. The company prides themselves in delivering white glove service, and he wanted to know personally, how he could help. Customer service at its finest, and it isn't dead. The work was provided complementary, and the technicians took time to explain everything they did.

They have my future business because they cared enough to make a wrong right.

At the end of October 2022 I had an emergency sub panel situation. I am a Senior. Point Loma did the installation. I turned my heater on and it is not on a circuit by itself and does not work. I am waiting for a correction.

In addition they charged me 600.00 for my permit fee!!! Outrageous!
The fellow that did a follow up said he would check my heater for an additional 600.00. This price gouging is not ok.

We live in a 120 year old house (old train station) and have used Pt. Loma for years because of their experience with old house wiring. In 2015 they installed a ceiling fan in the living room. Apparently the former owner who did the work did not install it properly and it began to pull down the board in the ceiling it was attached to. I was getting worried as the separation kept increasing. Today wonderful Reese came, took it down, inspected it, discovered the problem and did a great job repairing it, using long screws to attach it securely. He was very knowledgeable. He also changed a light bulb in the closet that I couldn't reach without climbing a step ladder (not safe at 80!). They did not charge me a penny as it was not done correctly originally. A great company. Reese is a fine young man, very courteous and helpful. He has a great future ahead of him!! I continue to recommend Pt. Loma Electric!

They repaired a landscape light a year ago and it failed again. They came out within two days and fixed it. No charge. Highly recommend them!!

I called to get an estimate to convert a small house which has a gas water heater and a gas range to electric. I explained I think fairly clearly that this was not a repair but a conversion from gas to electric and was told that i needed to give them my credit card number so that they could keep that on file and the callout fee was going to be $250. I suggested that this seemed pretty steep just to come out and do an estimate and was told it was so that if the ""repair"" was small and could be done right away this would cover it. When I clarified that this wasn't going to be a small repair and a callout fee of $250 seemed excessive the lady I was speaking too hung up on me.

Beware, They use apprentice plumbers to do major jobs. The jobs are way over priced! The newbee plumbers make terrible mistakes!

I had to replace 2 sets of faucets for a home that I was selling and these guys were able to fit me in right away. Other plumbers were not accommodating at all. They showed up on time and did a great job. The faucets were installed a long time ago and need some extra elbow grease to remove. Everything looks great now and I would definitely use their services again should the need arise.

We needed to replace some of the original water lines. We had quotes from two different companies, and the one from Point Loma Electric and Plumbing was more thoroughly prepared than the other quote. Michael, who prepared the estimate, took the time to go into the crawl space to take photos and document all of the areas in need of repair. Manuel and Phillip finished the work in one day, on a Friday! We were grateful that we didn't need to have our water turned off for an extended period of time. The next week we had low water flow in one of the bathroom sinks. Manuel returned and fixed the problem. Communication was great with Jessica at the office. Jessica sends text messages and calls to update with technician arrival times so you don't have to wait all day.
