We were referred to Point Loma Electric by a family member. We had an estimate done before we had received the parts needed. When the electricians showed up to do the work, they realized the job was different than what they quoted and it was going to cost quite a lot more. I called Jamie (the owner) to say we were going to cancel the job, but she convinced me to let her send out two other technicians to do the job as quoted. Ramon and Charlie showed up and did a fantastic job. They were professional, courteous, clean and QUICK! They made sure the job was done right the first time. We were so happy that we had them take care of some additional work while they were there. Their pricing was extremely reasonable and the customer service was priceless.

You can go anywhere and find an electrician, but to find a company that provides excellent customer service and stands behind their 100% satisfaction guarantee is rare. We will use Point Loma Electric again and highly recommend them to anyone in the San Diego area.

I had been hearing about Point Loma Electric from Mike Slater on KFMB Radio for months before I finally made the call. They were friendly and had me set up with an appointment quickly. The quote I was provided for the work I needed to have completed was the exact price I paid at the end of the completed job. No surprises, or hidden fees. The electrician was clean cut, courteous, and kept his work space spotless. I could really tell he cared about my safety and my home. I could also tell that no corners were cut. I had to call Point Loma Electric six months after someone else did electrical work in my house. I was still having the same problems and needed a professional electrician, not someone that can ""fix"" my electrical at low cost. I had a feeling I got what I paid for with the previous company. Point Loma Electric came out and performed a very thorough inspection and found several problems with the previous work - some of which were very dangerous. I was extremely impressed with the level of knowledge and expertise in electrical work. They were able to explain in great detail, without hesitation what exactly needed to be done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work.

I called this establishment a few months ago requiring emergency service. They advertise about how professional and they are all about customer satisfaction but the two gals I talked to were extremely rude and it was an obvious representation of the ownership of this business. They kept on giving me the run around while I was going through a very stressful situation. I was on the phone with them being transfered back and forth at the end of all these questions I was asked I was told they were having issues with technicians and could not send someone until the next day knowing from the beginning of the phone call I needed someone immediately. I even offered to pay extra for emergency service. I decided this was not the type of business that deserved my money.

They came out the look at a bathroom fixture that didn't work and a light socket I thought was broke (it wasn't) The Electrician makes you choose from a price list. $363 to troubleshoot!! Took him about an hour to fix. He even charged an added fee for a new bulb! This is more than my attorney per hour! I'm In the wrong business! Sheesh!

Two guys came out to fix my lighting issue that was created by another electrician. I stayed while these guys worked non stop for just short of 4 hours to diagnose and repair the complex issue.

I'd give them 5 stars except for the cost. Thanks so much for the fix.

Pt. Loma electric is fantastic although a bit pricey. I had them trouble shoot an electrical problem that another electrician was unable to figure out. Jim took on the challenge with gusto and wouldn't quit until he figured it out. While he was at it, he fixed a few other odd wiring issues I've had in the house for years. He's a straight shooter who really cares about the quality of his work. A real gem!
