Asked for an estimate to replace a simple reverse osmosis filter system under the sink. Couldn't provide an estimate over the phone so offered a free visit to estimate. Very professional plumber/salesperson visited and estimate was $1500 to install if I bought the system (about a one hour job). Could've estimated over the phone but then they wouldn't have been able to do their free inspection that found another few thousand dollars of suggested work ( such as $200 to replace a toilet seat). Eventually found a very good company to provide and install a new RO system for $500. Just noting that this company operates with a model that requires a home visit rather than provide any help over the phone- even for something easy to describe that doesn't need a visit. It's a model that I would caution others before going down that path.

Troubleshooting skills are outstanding. Javier explained the PLEP process clearly. Mike isolated the problem and fixed it promptly and efficiently. Their professional demeanor and work made us grateful we called them for help after our electricity went out in one circuit. We are so pleased with their work that we have contracted with them to replace our outdated panel.

Absolutely the worst service I've ever had. Not only was their technician 2 hours late to the appointment; He arrived covered in filth and tracked a mess all throughout my house ! The bathroom he was working in has black sludge all over my cabinetry and walls underneath the vanity. Very unprofessional and clearly unprepared.

Never ever again. Fool me once .

I was missing a dead front on my electrical panel. The panel is 30 years old and no longer in production. So it was hard to find parts for it. But Johnny from point Loma was able to find a used part and replace it for me to my satisfaction. It saved me a lot of headache. Thank you Johnny.

I contacted Point Loma electric to give me a quote for hot tub electrical setup. It has been more than weeks since they came out to look over the site and I have not gotten a quote. I have contacted them three times to get the quote as well as calling to ensure a technician was coming after I scheduled online. The customer service is non existent and I can't rate the work since I cannot select them to do it. I gave two stars for the very informative electrician that came out. He was able to answer all my questions and gave me good advice on my setup.

Our water heater was not working. It turned out the pilot light was out due to a recent Power outage. The technician was able to get the pilot light on again within minutes. He said he didn't need to do anything else and wanted to charge us $75 as a maintenance call. However the owner insisted charging the full $150 as a service call and wouldn't budge. Even the technician tried to get him to reduce the price since he spent less than 5 minutes at our place. I will never call Point Loma Electric again.

Javier came out to give me an estimate for a new electrical panel. He explained everything in detail. He was pleasant, personable and knowledgeable about his craft.
I think I am a better educated consumer as a result of my interaction with Javier.
I am looking forward to Point Loma Electric and Plumbing to upgrade my outdated electrical panel. Another evaluation to follow.

Your search has ended for your plumbing and electrical needs. I believe in giving credit where it's due. Mikel & Megan and pretty much the entire staff here is more than trustworthy and dependable. We purchased are tankless water heater two years ago and it started to leak . They didn't just repair the water heater they replaced it ! Not only that they repaired the water damages from potential mold and mildew and followed up with us every step of the way. We were so impressed with the professionalism they displayed we hired them to install our electrical components for our sauna. We are 110% satisfied with their above average customer service. I can't say enough great things about their business practices they made us whole with no unnecessary out of packet expense. They treated us better than FAMILY!
