Hi there, I’m Robert, the head of Plymwr Plumbing. I bring two decades of plumbing expertise to the table. I began my journey during high school summers, College wasn’t the right fit for me, so right after high school, I joined the plumbers' union. I dedicated 8 years to the union, when my brother and I decided to create our first plumbing company together. Eight years later, I ventured out on my own. All of the negative reviews are accurate. They are the worst company we have ever dealt with. They are rude, disrespectful and unresponsive.We have not had hot water in the shower for 22 days. They did not care. They don't call back or come as promised, and used the excuse that they were too busy. Well, so are we.
Shawn told us we would get a replacement water heater paid for by AHS but didn't bother to tell us that we would have to pay for all kinds of mandated upgrades for the installation at the cost of over $600.
Most of the time when you call the office you get a voicemail and no return calls. Their excuses are endless. The customer service is terrible.
The last straw was when I was told that was harassing the plumber who wanted to enjoy his Christmas. I called him to find out if he got the part. He was supposed to call me but did not, as usual. He said the part was not available and might be in in another week, but he was not going to deal with it. I called another company and the shower was fixed the next day. They bought the part locally and installed it in less than an hour.
The morale is one doesn't need to be aggravated and overcharged for the incompetence of Plymwr Plumbing..there are companies that know what they're doing and treat you with respect.

I could never in good faith recommend this company to anyone. They are, for some reason, still contracted through AHS despite an abundance of horrible reviews. Every one-star review here is honest, it was a sad sort of relief to see that my family was not the only one treated unprofessionally by this sham of a company. What kind of company sets up three different appointments to come to your house and then doesn't show up to any of them? No call, no text, nothing. No form of communication. Their customer service representatives are a joke, they just talk in circles. The owner is dishonest as well, just look at how he replies to dissatisfied customers on here. Take your business elsewhere. This company is the reason my mother is not renewing her AHS contract. TLDR; this company is shameful, dishonest, and unprofessional. Take your hard-earned money elsewhere!

Horrible! I was referred to them by my Home Warranty company. Unprofessional. 3 no show appointments. Young plumber came with a snake and a plunger- didn't fix. Charge Home Warranty company $350. Don't waste your time or money with them.

All the 1 star comments are absolutely true. Customer service is non existent. My connection with them was through American Home Shield. If you are calling them on your own, they might be different, but if AHS assigns you them, they will not call you back and they don't service your orders. I honestly think they are overwhelmed, but even if they called me back to tell me we are really busy, I would understand, but to keep me waiting and not solve my issue for 3 weeks, not good. I own a small business and if I did not respond to my customers, the way they don't, I would not be in business.

Looks like I'm not the only one who had an awful experience with the owner of this horrible company. And look at his responses to the negative reviews, all of them are him trying to cover up his poor attitude, customer service, and skills. I have text messages from him proving he was late and unprepared. said he would come back and never did. I never have written a bad review but this experience with this so called owner/ plumber was the worst. Home warranty needs to drop him. Don't worry I'll wait for your negative response on how you weren't an awful experience. And how it is everyone else's fault and not ur own for being the worst. Make sure to keep your receptionist because she can sell you, your own watch. I thought I was really getting an epic at my door step instead I got a lump of coal. Stay away from this company if your home warranty assigns this company to you , say NEXT! I would put Zero stars if I could. Also Robert if you feel Yelp are ""extortionists"" then why are you on it .

*****Glad you have time to yelp with your fake news but not show up to your appointments on time! Your right you are busy disappointing your clients and that's why my appointment block was 11-3 and you still couldn't make it on time. Left said you would be right back and never showed up! You should work for CNN. And no my Plumbers before you did not say to hydrojet you made that up in your head.

Bobby from Plymwr came out for a leaking water heater. All that needed to be done was replace the water heater but he wanted to charge a out of pocket fee of $710 to change a waterline that was changed 3 years ago when the house was re-piped. looks to be a single owner operator trying to make additional money.

I would not hire this company for anything. The Owner is Robert Clifford. My home warranty company sent him out and as a retaliation for me being upset with the home warranty company for not covering it he left my hot water turned off, left my gate open so my dog got out and left a outside facet turned on so when the water to the house was turned on again I was sprayed with water. When I called him to tell him he had to come back to turn on the hot water he said NO! after telling him 3 times he had to come back (I am an senior single lady) he called me a F**** Crazy B**** and hung up the phone.

American Home Shield referred me to Plymwr Plumbing to replace my water heater. I was worried because I saw some negative reviews about Plymwr. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by Colin who was sent out to replace my water heater. He was professional, efficient, showed up on time and cleaned up after himself. AHS only covers a portion of the repair and after calling around to find out what the cost including parts and labor would typically be, Plymwr was far below what I would have paid if I didn't have AHS. I normally don't write reviews but felt that I needed to share my experience with Plymwr Plumbing. I would definitely use them again.
