Plymwr Plumbing
Company Overview
Hello, I’m Robert, the proud owner of Plymwr Plumbing. I have been in the plumbing industry for 20 years. I began my journey during high school summers, College wasn’t the right fit for me, so immediately after graduating high school, I became a member of the plumbers' union. I was part of the union for 8 years, when my brother and I decided to create our first plumbing company together. Eight years down the line, I branched out independently. At Plymwr Plumbing, we aim to be the most reliable, honest, and affordable plumbing service in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

The guy came out and didn't fix anything. Just scratched his chin like he didn't know what he was doing. Didn't even know if we were on sewer or septic. Then handed my wife a card that says ""the wetter it gets the faster we come"" what kind of sick slogan is that?

Absolutely terrible experience. This plumber is rude and cares nothing about people. The economy is in a recession and this company does not want repeat business. I went through home warranty and was referred to this company. Due to lack of care and response approximately 168 gallons of water damaged my home. I was promised a 48 hour response only to find out later I wasn't scheduled for repair for two weeks. I had to shut off the water to my home and when I called back pleading for help they told me to go somewhere else.

I had a great experience with Plymwr Plumbing! The owner came very respectful he found the problem fixed it I would use them again!

My toilet was backed up and my home warranty company contacted Plymwr Plumbing. First off they never should up during the time frame they gave me. When I called Home Warranty company to complain, I was told they had come by and rang the doorbell. I work from home so I know they never came. My Home warranty company rescheduled a second visit and still Plymwr never showed up. I called Plymwr and left a message, no one ever returned my call. Needless to say I had to contact another company.

Be sure to have excellent flood insurance before you use this company. They will deny that they caused the issue and based on most of their other one star reviews, the owner will attempt to explain how he had nothing to do with the resulting flood from his substandard work. He claimed that the result was ""only my opinion,"" because another certified plumber did not diagnose the faulty work on the toilet, which flooded, after one test flush 5 days after they supposedly repaired it, in a room never used. I didn't think it was a requirement to wait for the tank to fill up. I left the room and went outside. 20 minutes later the room was flooded. The second plumber that was assigned by First American Home Warranty thankfully told me to turn the water off and set me up with a local restoration company. The restoration company immediately removed the damaged toilet, wet carpet, and 12 inches from the lower walls in the bedroom and bathroom to dry it out, so the second opinion never happened by a certified plumber. Plymer said, ""there insurance would not cover the damage."" My lawyer is reviewing my rights and will help me decide if the $5400.00 cost of returning the room to it's original state is worth the cost of litigation. This is my experience, not my opinion, just fact. Also, very difficult to speak to anyone at Plymwr. The assistants were useless and you have to hold for 20 to 30 minutes before anyone picks up the phone. The owner did eventually communicate with me by email which was a sad communication at best. Nothing but inaccurate excuses from him. I usually feel sorry for these small businesses and never post bad reviews but felt the need to write this accurate, fair and balanced review. BEWARE!!

Plymwr Plumbing was the contractor sent by my home warranty company. They were professional, timely and great communicators! Everything went smoothly. I would definitely hire them again.

The worst, was kept on telephone hold for 15 minutes. Left message, no call back from the company. Sent owner two emails and he did not bother to respond to either. It took 6 days for them to prepare the proposal for AHS. I told AHS I would never use this company.

This company never answers the phone. I've called several times and it's the same outcome every single time. You are on hold for 10min then you don't have a choice but to leave a voicemail and wait for them to call you back. Annoyed my Home Insurance has me dealing with this company.

This was the plumber chosen by my Home Warranty, you can ask to have a different plumber when you go through the warranty I have Home Shield. Go with someone else, most of this bad reviews are from warranty jobs where the technician does nothing or next to nothing. This issues also seem to happen when the customer they are dealing with is a women. I don't that is a coincidence. Now on to what happened in my case. I had a leak in the backyard and didn't know what it was about. We dug a hole an found a pipe leaking at the fittings. The technical came over and told me it was from the sprinkler system. I told him that was wrong because we had personally removed the sprinkler pipes a month before. He insisted and said that wasn't part of the warranty repair and left without doing anything, not even tightening the fitting which would have stopped the leak. He did turn on the old sprinkler system, he said he was turning if off and that would stop the problem. I'm not a plumber but I know when a valve is on or off. He turned it on. Well, I call a local well rated plumber and he immediately knows the pipe is the main line to the house. They fixed it no problem, got a new line installed. It was a joy to give money to a competent person.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They ignore our phone calls, their mail box is full. This company was assigned by First American Home Warranty. It was a terrible experience and our problems still has not be resolved. See story and pictures below:

The second day after installation water was discovered on the garage floor
The water tank was leaking into the base of tank and then into the overflow pan.
A drain line was not connected to the overflow pan so water filled and exited at the level of the pan opening.
Water entered the base of the raised platform that supports the water heater and exited under the wall of the platform and puddled on the garage floor
Water supply to the tank was turned off. Five containers of leaking water were taken from interior of water tank and the overflow pan
Installer arrived 2 days after the install to discover that the new soldered connection to the tank was dripping water
Installer resoldered and stopped the leak and made notice of the damp and crumbling drywall where the support wall met the garage floor.
Installer said that the plumbing company's Handyman would do the drywall repair.
Tried contacting plumbing company 3 to 4 days later to ask when repair would happen....could not leave message as ""mail box is full"".
At this point, I am most concerned about mold growing inside the raised platform that is completely enclosed.
As there was no follow through for the repair, the only way to get the attention of the plumbing company to take care of the drywall situation was to stop payment on the invoice.
This issue has been going on for almost a month with no response or action by plumber.
