Plymwr Plumbing
Company Overview
Hello, I’m Robert, the proud owner of Plymwr Plumbing. With 20 years of plumbing experience, I began my journey during high school summers, I realized college wasn’t my path, so immediately after graduating high school, I became a member of the plumbers' union. I spent 8 years in the union, until my brother and I launched our first plumbing business together. After 8 years, I took the leap to start my own business. At Plymwr Plumbing, we aim to be the most reliable, honest, and affordable plumbing service in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

American Home Shield referred me to Plymwr Plumbing to replace my water heater. I was worried because I saw some negative reviews about Plymwr. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by Colin who was sent out to replace my water heater. He was professional, efficient, showed up on time and cleaned up after himself. AHS only covers a portion of the repair and after calling around to find out what the cost including parts and labor would typically be, Plymwr was far below what I would have paid if I didn't have AHS. I normally don't write reviews but felt that I needed to share my experience with Plymwr Plumbing. I would definitely use them again.

This place is absolute garbage. The technician supposedly called and texted, and I got no such message. I took time off work to let the plumber in, but they never contacted me. The manager who was acting as secretary was absolutely rude and childish. Hung up on me and then then texted me very unprofessionally. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN HELP IT. THEY ARE THE WORST. Zero stars should be an option.

ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING!!!
We have never been treated by any company with such blatant disrespect. This is our 1st negative review, ever. We put in a claim to our AHS insurance for a leaking water heater and they sent out this company. They didn't seem to care that the leaking was causing mold in the surrounding area and said that they would be back in a week or so, no rush! They seemed to be more intrested in gouging and up charging us. We were willing to pay reasonable costs for the necessary upgrades but they wouldn't do the job until we paid them over a $1000! We did not agreed to their demands! Instead we received several long ""lecturing"" texts from the owner about how homeowners are cheap and don't want to pay for repairs. We finally had to block them because they wouldn't leave us alone!

Well someone is not being honest here... and it's not me. I never cussed out Emily, she was the only one who actually communicated with me and I treated her quite respectfully. I tried reading quotes but you kept changing them! I stand by my review and my honesty.

Absolutely FURIOUS! We only had this company come because of our home insurance, normally not our go to plumber. There was only one person home when the plumber came out, shortly before he was done I came home and to the room next to the restroom that was being worked on, the plumber was in another part of the house so he didnt see or hear me come to the room. The plumber was under the impression apparently that it was okay to use the restroom without asking, and at that DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS, then opened the door as if he never used it and continued on with putting whatever he took apart back and went down stairs and left. HIGHLY UNSANITARY AND HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I am usually very hesitant to leave bad reviews, as I know everyone has their bad moments, but I was dealing with this company as required by a home warranty, and I called to discuss the non-covered items and was totally amazed by how disrespectful the representative was over the phone. I was simply questioning the cost of some of the minor items as they seemed far excessive to me (i.e. $65 for a drip pan which is $30 at home depot and just sits under the tank). The representative mimicked me, was condescending, and even called me ""cheap"" as he was laughing at me, not with me, over the phone. I do not know if everyone with this company acts in this manner, but this is totally unacceptable and I would not recommend this company.
The gentlemen below forgot to write about the part where the secretary started mimicking me... which is when I did call him a dick. Maybe the secretary could have explained to me why a $30 drain pan was $60 instead of responding the way he did. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Post the recording so everyone knows how you deal with customers. Simple inquiries shouldn't lead to being disrespectful.

If there was anyway to give negative stars this company truly deserves a zero and below. They have made three appointments to show up at my property on three separate days giving me 3 to 4 hours of window opportunities that they would arrive and each time they fail to show up or even have the decency to call and say they weren't going to make it. I pre-paid for their visit through the home warranty Company that recommended them. They're not showing up must be a message from God that I shouldn't even allow these people to enter my property for fear of the damage they may cause or the unethical business practices they may employ.

I usually do not write many reviews, but I'll take the time to write this one. We've been AHS customers for twenty plus years, so we have a good idea how major appliance repair/ replacements work. Shawn showed up on time confirmed the water heater was toast gave me a breakdown on non-covered upgrades and we were authorized for replacement and had a new water heater installed and up to code two days later.
It's nice to see that there are some straight forward companies still around that will come diagnose, quote and get the work done as originally quoted to us in a timely matter.

I am always skeptical of plumbing companies, especially after the last plumber from a different company that came out and well I practically had to do the repair myself, I digress, but I was thrilled when Sean from Plymwr knocked on my door. He was clean, neat in appearance and had a pleasant demeanor. He introduced himself and the company and asked what I was experiencing.
I gave him a rundown and he immediately said with confidence lets see if we can get this all resolved for you. I walked him through the problem and what I had done prior to calling. He explained what he would be doing and explained preventive maintenance.
They worked around my schedule and Sean arrived at 7am on the dot, my appointment time was 7am-10am, I didn't have to take off from work nor have to be late for work due to his promptness. He had all the equipment and tools needed to resolve all the issues including a wax seal for the toilet that was leaking. He also cleaned up the areas where he worked.
Thanks Sean for the great work.

Non-sense of urgency...20 min wait to be able to talk with the secretary to schedule an appointment.
