Plymwr Plumbing
Company Overview
Hello, I’m Robert, the proud owner of Plymwr Plumbing. With 20 years of plumbing experience, I began my journey during high school summers, I realized college wasn’t my path, so right after high school, I joined the plumbers' union. I was part of the union for 8 years, when my brother and I decided to create our first plumbing company together. After 8 years, I took the leap to start my own business. Our goal at Plymwr Plumbing is to provide the best, most trustworthy, and cost-effective plumbing solutions in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Complete LIARS.
PLYMWR came out on an insurance call
The tech attempted to clear the kitchen drain with a small handheld machine that is designed for a bathtub and his handheld tool had 25' of rope
Clog did not clear and tech reports to office that the clog is severe and caused by grease!
We don't put grease down our drains...we do t eat meat etc.
Had another company come out and use the proper tool...no grease found and stoppage was about 40' in and it cleared very easily.
When we spoke to PLMWR over the phone...all they kept doing was talking over us and telling us that our claim would not be covered because of grease but the truth is
We never had grease in our lines
This company is very dishonest!!!
Refuse their service ALWAYS!!!
As bad as it gets. They were assigned to me by Front Door Pro to install a Moen Flo device. A technician was supposed to come out to look at the property from Plymwar. He never showed. I called FDP and they said the Plymwar was not returning their calls. I called Plymwar and they said FDP was not returning their calls. The gal on the phone at Plymwar was well, useless. I instructed her to get with her technician and get back to me about the job, she said she would (as if that hadn't occurred to her). Never happened. I called again and got a man with such a strong accent I couldn't really understand him and I just said I wanted to talk to the technician who was supposed to have come out who would do that work. Later Robert called me. The owner I believe. He said it would be an additional extra $18,000 charge to install the $500 device. I laughed and said then refund me. He said, fine. He then called me back and said he could do it for no extra charge now after talking to Moen. He blamed Moen and FDP but said he could do it next week but first had to go to Florida to deliver supplies to his parents after the hurricane but was 100% sure he'd be back by Monday to install it. I asked if he was 100% certain and he said yes! I also asked again he now sure it was installable with no repiping or extra charges?, he said ""Yes, I can install anything"". He even gave me his direct cell number.
He never showed up the next week. Did not return texts or calls to his cell or the main office, where I got the heavily accented man again who first said, (I think), FDP had assigned my job to another plumber. (Robert mentioned how they had threatened to cancel his contract with FDP). I told him, no it had not, and that I had Roberts cell phone and he has double promised he would do it this week. the man put me on hold and came back and said, He'll do it for an additional $14,000.00 now.
I got rid of FDP, got refunded, and hired another plumber for $850.
What a waste of time and energy!
I have 5 homes and I have never had quite this crazy of an experience with a contractor ever. The worst.
This company was hired to repair my toilet. Instead of repairing the toilet they replaced the original Toto parts which are valued at $100 with cheap plastic parts that do not fit the toilet and do not function properly. I contacted the company immediately and asked for the original parts to be returned. I was given the runaround for hours and was finally told to contact the owner of the company, Robert Clifford. When I contacted him, he refused to cooperate and refused to return the parts. He has no regard for customer satisfaction and clearly does not know how to run a business. I would not hire this company again under any circumstances.
As a famous quote: if you have 4 flat tire , engine on fire, keep driving.
Their people are good people however their made up cost is amazingly weird.
Darlene B.Horrific service and company!! Owner is a complete jerk and sent me a text calling me a liar! All they did was take money from me every time they came out and fixed nothing! They got $1300 out of me. They made sure to tell me that everything I needed done was not covered by my home warranty. Then they wanted to charge me between $8000 and $9000 for REPAIRS I DIDN'T NEED. They were going to jackhammer my floors to get to pipes when all that needed to be done was access pipes through the wall. I paid another plumber a little over $300 to fix the problem that they were going to charge me $9000 for!Owner even admitted he fired a tech who came out here for telling people they needed work done that they didn't! So you tell me who the liar is!!!
Kim G.was referred to this company via my Hime Warrwnty. Not only did they falsify the work order to First American to reflect unnecessary work they failed to provide a sufficient explanation as to the reason. Fauce5 and angle stop needed replacement covered by my contract with HW. They claimed to have to do ""modification"" to install the faucet. Funny thing is another plumber was able to complete work with no ""modifications"". I suppose the required modification was an extended water supply line since the standard faucet was know the have a short line that would not connect to the angle stop ( knob that turns off water under the sink). Would they really be $275????
We had a leak in our apartment we rent. Daniel came over and was amazing. He was great to speak with, was very informative and was quick! He explained everything he was doing and offered to put everything back. I thought that was so sweet. Daniel really values what's he does, helping others with their problems, big or small. We are so happy we were able to get the leak fixed before our move. We appreciate all of the help and fixing our problem. Would recommend this business and Daniel to anyone. Amazing service!
Drea M.Our home warranty company sent this plumber out to clear our mainline. We had a plumber come out on May 19. About four days later, the drain was clogged again. The plumber told us that we probably needed a three-quarter inch snake, but he only had a half an inch. His machine was subpar as well. We had to call them for a second visit.
We told the Scheduling person what the first plumber had said and requested they bring a larger snake. The second plumber showed up on a Friday with a half inch snake and most likely the same subpar machine. Spent just enough time to get the drain clear. By Sunday the drain was clogged again. My husband was frustrated and went to Harbor freight and purchased a machine. He spent a good hour and a half with the different attachments and finally got the drain to clear. It has remained clear since . Definitely disappointing that a company hired to do such work lacks the work ethic and proper equipment to do the job correctly! I let my home warranty know that I do not want this vendor to return in the future if needed
American home shield sent out this company to replace a leaking garbage disposal. They replaced the garbage disposal and re-did the seal in my sink, did a great job but I believe they inadvertently cracked the line coming down from the other side of the sink line due to noticing. It was leaking the next day and I know. For fact, it was not cracked our leaking prior to their work. they said the owner would call me or I could speak with them to discuss the issue but in order to fix the other line. I had to create another ticket which was another $100. And once they came out I had to pay another 300 up front due to having filters under my sink and never did receive a phone call. The work was great. But I believe they should have at least considered giving me a reasonable price. I know that they broke the other side of the line. I am a reasonable person and would have paid what was fair. I now have a problem with my tankless Water heater and American home shield assigned them. I will obviously cancel them. I have also had a few friends that American home shield has gone to assign them and I advised them of what happened and they have canceled them. So if they would have just communicated with me, it would have saved them a loss of a few separate jobs, which is probably not a big deal, but those friends I have told will tell their friends as well. It cost them some business just for the lack of communication.
Jeff S.I was assigned this company by our home warranty company (First American) and was a little nervous as the reviews were mixed and our warranty company isn't the best. I was very pleasantly surprised. Andrew came out and assessed the problem and ordered the parts and Darin came out and fixed the issue. They were both very professional and courteous and did a great job. I can't speak to other people's reviews but they were one of the better companies that I've had assigned by using our home warranty and wish more of the other companies did similar work.
