BUYER BEWARE!!!

Very disappointed. They tried to rip off my elderly neighbor. They reported her entire electrical box in back yard needed to be replaced for over $1000 dollars when all she did was blow a fuse.

They were at my house once and two trucks showed up for a minor leak. All they did was try to up sell me on repairs I did not need. It's as if the workers were paid on commission.

I ask Plumbline that question. Are your plumbers paid on commission or some type of incentive plan?

Showed up an hour after the 2 hour window and didn't even have the basic part needed. I called customer service and they told me I should be happy it isn't a 4 hour window, and even though he didn't have the part and did nothing I still have to pay the $50 to have him come late and tell me ""oops, my bad"".

I would not recommend this company to anyone out there.

They up sell everything, charge double to triple what it is worth.

They gave my wife an estimate over the weekend of $2,500 to $3,300 for a new water heater, when the work was done, it came to $3,800.

Plumbline is the last place you should ever look for plumbing help.

I had Plumbline come out for a AC Tune up (as stated on their advertisement). Aaron came in and removed 2 panels on the furnace, looked at it and removed the furnace filter. He then proceeded outside to the AC unit, opened it up and told me it needed cleaning. Well, what's a ""tune-up""? Maximizing the performance and efficiency of the unit is what I thought....maybe some cleaning and adjusting?? Aaron called his manager and the manager told me that Aaron was filling out a 60 pt inspection list. Unfortunately Aaron must not have known to fill this list out during the inspection as Aaron didn't have any list on him. Anyway, I ended up talking to the manager about the difference between a ""check"" and a ""tune-up"". Aaron told me that many customers confuse the two terms and he has mentioned it to the managers, but they don't want to fix it. So I'm not interested in having a company come out that wants to confuse their customers.

This weekend I had the great homeowner event happen- backed up/clogged main line... I contacted Plumbline Services and Chauncy L. came out to be my house rescuer. He was polite, professional, personable and was wanting to help me in any way he could. I was very impressed at his tenaciousness at tackling my 1960 brick house with weird access panels and tight quarters. K truly felt that he cared about my stress and wanted to help. He fixed my issue and gave me sound advice to maintain my plumbing lines. I will definitely be calling Plumbline Services again if I am in need of house rescue again!!
Cost: $262.00 due to difficult access to my main drain/line and additional labor to get to the line and comes with a 30 day warranty.

Showed up on time, clean, personable, with master level skills and service. Highly recommend! One drawback was price. Even with a $50 coupon 20 minutes of work was $150. Was something I couldn't do so had to hire.

I have been using Plumbline Services for years at the same property. I would have to say I would have historically given them high praise but now would be desperate to every use them and could not recommend them. I suspect new management but I do not know for sure.

Over the years, the same property has had the same drain issue. Since the drainage problem keeps getting worse, this time, I asked to have something different than the standard ""Clear your drain"" process.

In speaking with the scheduler on the phone, they would send a tech to clear the line and a camera Supervisor to immediately look inside the line for the cause of the on-going Issues.. They said the 2 processes had to happen at the same time. I asked of the cost and they indicated since I was a long term customer with reoccurring issue, they would not charge for the camera service...

When the tech arrived, perfectly on schedule, he came only prepared to ""clear the line"" which we understood was part of the process. The tech then indicated the camera was NOT scheduled and we would have to wait many, many hours later for the camera work. He also indicated the camera fee was several hundred dollars. We debated the fee, the tech called the office and the rescheduled a later date/time for the camera - No Charge.

On the day of the reschedule, I called when the camera Supervisor did not arrive... The scheduler indicated they were busy and it would now be 6-hours later than scheduled... As we planned our day around their original schedule, I told them to cancel the appointment and I would work with a reputable company for the work...

Again, Plumbline started off as a great company I would highly recommend and now, I would never recommend them.

Horrible customer service!!! I called to ask for a quote for a yearly maintenance. The woman i spoke to said they automatically charge $49 for someone to come out. I told her never mind I would go somewhere else that doesn't charge an automatic fee and she hung up on me!!! I am very glad to be taking my business elsewhere!!!

5 Stars!! - First Service Review - 2014 - After calling other services for some emergency work, decided on Plumbline to do a water heater replacement, in a crawl space, in an emergency, at reasonable prices.
Tough job, had to dig out crawl space to fit new water heater. Did a good job, tech was nice guy, real happy with overall service.

3 Stars - Second Service 2015 - Initial service call was cancelled while waiting for tech, Plumbline called during time slot given. Time off work, loss of pay - frustrating! Decided to reschedule given positive first experience. Second service call, nice guy, did work promptly - Checking valve on city water inlet in crawl space. Adjusted small leak, and contacted city for me. City ended up doing fix. Had to pay call fee. 3 stars due to cancellation of first call at last second.

1 star - called 2016 for sink repair, took time off of work, hung out for 2 hour service window, at end of time, Plumbline called to cancel service and reschedule another day - couldn't get tech or others out that day. Even Comcast doesn't do that!! They apparently don't prioritize/value customers time. Not rescheduling with Plumbline.

5 stars + 3 stars + 1 star = ave (3 star review. )
Good luck.

Canceled appointment 2 weeks in a row. I first called Plumbline July 18 and made appointment for July 22. I received a call at 7:30 am on July 22 canceling appointment for later that day, and on the incorrect assumption that they would not cancel 2 appointments on me, made another appointment for July 28. The morning of the 28 I got a call canceling service for that day, and was given the opportunity to make another appointment for August 9, 22 days after my initial call. Why would I make another appointment with a company that does not honor their appointments?
So if you make an appointment with Plumbline don't assume that they will actually show up.
