Our water heater pilot wouldn't stay lighted, so we had another outfit come out over the weekend, and even though I suspected it was the thermocouple, they just lit the pilot and told us we needed another water heater, and quoted $$$$. So I spoke with Plumbing Repair Specialists. They were happy to give information about water heaters, etc. on the phone, and scheduled Kip to come out the next day. He came out, got right to it, changed the thermocouple & controller, said heater had a lot of good years left yet. He really knows his stuff, and is straighforward - great! Thanks for helping us out!

These folks know their stuff! I called and described what type of water heater I had and what the problem was. I was told that one of two parts likely needed to be replaced, and that they had both available and could be at the house that day. Sure enough, Kip was there within a couple of hours, figured out in about two minutes which part was bad, and replaced it -- water heater fixed! Very efficient, very knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. My dog loved Kip, too, which tells me a lot.

I called for an emergency and was told I would get someone to call me back,when someone would be in my area. Never receive a phone call. I would had liked at least a can't make it phone call.

This company was sent to me by the manufacturer of our brand new water heater which was having problems. The receptionist Tammy was inpatient, unhelpful, unpleasant and very rude. She has no knowledge of what customer service means. The owner was a little better but also very poor customer service. They will talk over you and not let you talk. When I asked the man who came to service it if he could wear booties (my crawl space where the water heater is located can only be accessed through the house and has dirt floor which would drag dirt thought out my first and second floor) he made some unfriendly comment and told me i should put plastic in the crawl space. It took him a couple of minutes for him to go back to his truck and get his booties (which he had all along). I really don't understand why all his comment was necessary; just seems that he was eager to be difficult. I have had many service people come through the house as we did a complete renovation of our house and most service people had booties with them or was happy to wear the ones I have if necessary. Of milliards of people that has come through my house through the 1 year renovation they were by far the worst!!! Awful experience.

Incredibly bad customer service by both Tammy in the office and Kip in the field. They got the water heater repair done after a lot of excuses and several visits, but definitely not worth the aggravation and surely attitudes. Look elsewhere!

The receptionist for this company is the most rude and difficult person I have ever had to deal with. These people replaced a thermal coupler in our hot water heater while we were traveling. When we came home we discovered that the hot water heater would not work. We were without hot water for 4 days and then, when the receptionist finally called back to see what the problem was she informed me ""that we do not warrant our work"" and you will have to pay to have whatever is wrong now fixed. AMAZING. And she was rude and obnoxious on top of it.

NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE !!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY !!!!

Wednesday night we had signs of a clogged line from our toilet. Last summer Kip installed a clean-out to give us peace of mind about the back-up not coming into the house. I called Thursday morning and despite a full schedule Tammy was able to have Kip swing by to clear the line so that we did not have to deal with it again overnight. She gave us a window of time - and Kip still arrived early. As always Kip was friendly, got right to the job, and was conscientious about the clean up when done. We really appreciated the ""can-do"" attitude from Tammy in the office and Kip's willingness and flexibility in fitting us in at short notice. There was no guarantee about fitting us in, but Kip managed to do it - and was early to boot. Thanks!

The name of this company was given to us by Customer Service of Star Premier heaters .
Kip came exactly at the time of the scheduled visit. He is very experienced. Knew exactly what was the problem, fixed it. Allowed enough time to explain everything. Very good service. (we can compare, because in the recent past we already had guys from other companies trying to repair our water heater).

I'm not sure what other folks found objectionable with the customer service or the ability to do a simple job. Tammy was easy to talk to on the phone and helped me pick an appointment that worked. Kip showed up right on time, was cheerful and capable, did the straightforward task and made one I thought would be more complicated straightforward as well.
