Kip came exactly at the time of the scheduled visit. He is very experienced. Knew exactly what was the problem, fixed it. Allowed enough time to explain everything. Very good service. (we can compare, because in the recent past we already had guys from other companies trying to repair our water heater).

I'm not sure what other folks found objectionable with the customer service or the ability to do a simple job. Tammy was easy to talk to on the phone and helped me pick an appointment that worked. Kip showed up right on time, was cheerful and capable, did the straightforward task and made one I thought would be more complicated straightforward as well.

I inherited Kip and Plumbing Repair Specialists when I took over as manager of The Priory Tennis Club in Kentfield. Boy, was that fortunate. Since I first used him three years ago, I've used only him. He's expert, punctual and has never failed to fix a problem. Today, I called him for an emergency. The toilets were backing up and leaking through the floor drains--the day before the opening of the pool! Kip came out in less than a half-hour and had the problem solved in under an hour. I wouldn't use another plumber, ever!

Being in the trade myself ( union trained - Local 38 ) I asked at the plumbing warehouse in Marin for a knowledgeable local plumber . Both the counter folks immediately recommended Plumbing Repair Specialists. Kip they assured me had enormous experience in all aspects of plumbing and I wouldn't be disappointed. This was for a faithful elderly former customer of mine who had moved into the area. Not only did the secretary( Tammy ) call an hour before arriving but Kip went over and above in making sure that he gas part of the job was made safe and up to code. Colleen, my former client, was impressed with his politeness and promptness and upon examination of his work I was impressed with his professionalism. I would have no hesitation in recommending Plumbing Repair Specialists. They may not be a big company but their prices are fair and their work is first rate!

Kip and his Dad have been our family plumber for over 33 years. He helped me replace three toilets (recommended the functionalToto toilets), sinks, tubs, and the kitchen plumbing.Plumbing Repair Specialist has repaired plumbing for my friends and neighbors and they just love this family business. Kip does the work and stands behind his job. Even his referrals for other household jobs were great. Kip works hard and very fast. He's an expert in his field. He will not rip you offer. If he thinks you can do it yourself then he will advise you of that instead of charging you for his work. He's practical and will tell you straight what the problem is and not waste your money or his time.

Today when I came home for lunch this guy kip had park in the middle of my parking space & my neighbors space. I honked my horn & parked in front of his truck. I told him to park his truck right so I could park in my space. My voice has been gone for the past 2 days so unfortunately I couldn't yell. He came out very aggressively & yelled at me for honking my horn & telling him to move his truck. He told me I had a big mouth for being such a little lady & that I needed to be paddled on my butt. I told him fuck you & that he was only a plumber who cleans shit. When I got back in my car, he came out to the street pulled down his pants. He grabbed his crouch & told me to suck his dick. Classy guy! Looks like he has a history of being a tough guy with women (Laura's review) I hope you think twice before calling him to repair any plumbing in your home.

I'd give half a star if that was an option. Whoever the receptionist is, she needs to go on yelp and read all the reviews that are solely focused on customers experiences with HER, besides actually plumbing.

If Plumbing Repair Specialists would really like to stay in business and do well, they should fire their receptionist and hire someone who knows how to mutually respect people. My knowledge about business has taught me that BAD customer service is BAD for business. Good fucking luck, but I'd rather have no hot water than deal with that receptionist.

I hope my point is taken and this business grows a brain as to (the first person customers deal with is YOUR RECEPTIONIST). She represents your business and is she representing it well? From these reviews I think not.

Had a lot of work done by them in 2009. New water line and new toliet, etc.... They will not stand by their work!!!! We now have a leak from the new water line to the wall with water shooting up in the air and a leek from the bottom of the toliet tank. Called them and the customer service rep kept making me repeat the problem over and over. Then put me on hold. When she came back on the line she said that it is a new leak and that there would be a new service charge for them to come out. The toilet has hardly been used with in the last 3 years. There is no reason for a new flexable water line to be leeking in two places!!!! Based on reading the other reviews, I would even bother getting an estimate from them!!!!
