Called Plumbing Outfitters - Taylor out to advise on a plumbing problem. They were extremely responsive before the visit and very helpful during the visit. I particularly liked the ability to track the location of the technician (Landen) as they approached our property - we knew exactly when he was going to arrive. The advice was exactly what we needed and I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't even charge for the visit as they hadn't done any "work".

Plumbing Outfitters installed a whole house filter system in our house. Melvin from Plumbing Outfitters suggested using a carbon filter to improve the water taste quality. Because of his experience, he was able to locate the main water pipeline near the water heater without digging outside of the house. The other companies proposed digging outside. Because of Melvin's experience, the cost of the project was significantly lower than other companies. The job was done in one day. The communication and planning was done well. I will definitely recommend them.

My yelp community, that I have happily watched over and worked with in this amazing community for 20 years, please take a moment to read and avoid this company at all costs. The plumbers work hard. The business is run off of deceptive, poorly executed practices. Minimal, sophomoric communication is evident immediately upon any business interaction. There are 2 customers that I know personally from Sun City and South Austin (in my old neighborhood) that shared large pricing discrepancies amongst several other issues. Please DM me for details that I have if interested because I would want to know this and because I care. If I get flagged or a very wordy response, look at those because people that reply with entirely long explanations are covering up their amateur mistakes and lack of responsibility which is reflected in their minimal follow up and experience. It's obvious. (The only star is for the men of the trade). This is my honest opinion which I am allowed to have so please no need for cancelling nor trolling. I am looking out for my yelpers of Central Texas and will continue to do so. Just because they show to win awards and have a mission does not mean they are truly good and also they offer no accountability for their operations. Beware. If you don't like this review, simply move on. We are allowed to have different points of view. Thank you.

Plumbing Outfitters has come out 3 times now for my plumbing issues in my home over the last few years. All of their staff are excellent communicators and highly professional.

Noah and his associates came out twice during this blazing hot Texas summer to
replace my hot water tank (located in the attic!) and to change out a gas orifice. They were punctual, efficient, courteous and ably explained what the issue was, offered options for replacement/repair which included pricing.

It'a such a relief to be able to depend on such trustworthy, skilled, and polite plumbing professionals to do such important work in my home!

Replaced a natural gas line from the meter to the house. Upgraded line to meet code and fix a small gas leak. Added a connection for a new back-up natural gas generator. Crew was professional and knowledgeable. Completed the work in a timely fashion. I requested that a tamping tool be utilized after back-filling the trench which they did. No more leak, no more concerns, no more problems. Thanks to the team that got this work done in terrible heat. Big shout out to Landen who was the lead on this project and thanks to Jess for his overwatch. Great job. Recommended.

I requested PO to install descaler and sediment filter I purchased in my garage. Landen was right on time and thoroughly verified the equipment that needs to be installed and provided an estimate cost wise and time wise.

He did the job well and everything working towards the end. No water spills or leaks from the job nor after. I would definitely recommend them and they provide competitive estimates.

I discussed with the company multiple times that the diagnostics fee would be $75. Then, when the plumber came, they wanted to charge $175 an hour for diagnostics. So deceptive.
