Came home to a leaking water softener, made a few inquires on Yelp for repairs. I had another company come out first to diagnose, but they didn't quite have the expertise and said they'd have to get back to me. In the meanwhile, I kept searching and Plumbing Outfitters was next on the list. They came out the next morning, Kyle - is as professional as they come. AND they had the resources to diagnose the issue. They were able to identify the part needed to fix the issue and gave me estimates on the spot. They did NOT even try to push any additional services and it was actually MY idea to replace the whole (aging) system.

It took a couple of days for the new water softener to get in (I purchased it myself from Home Depot), Plumbing Outfitters worked around the delivery from Home Depot, insuring that I was an priority to perform the install for me.

Kyle messaged me the morning of the install and asked if he could come EARLIER than the initial time frame. Who has heard of this? Being early? If you aren't early, you're late.

I am very pleased with the thorough job provided by Kyle, absolutely exceptional.

My kitchen sink busted last night, literally the pipes fell off and water all over the kitchen. Well, I put in a request for service on Yelp and got so many messages offering to help but Plumbing Outfitters were the only ones able to come out this morning. Noah arrived and was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He provided me a couple of quotes and informed me of other services provided, not pushy at all just gave me some great info. Once I got the price I asked if he would be able to repair today and he said yes. It's 10:18am and my sink is fixed!!!! As a woman who's home alone with her kids I appreciated the text they sent with a pic and bio of the person coming to assist, I didn't feel like I was being overcharged, and overall I am extremely satisfied. I will be using Plumbing Outfitters for all of my plumbing needs in the future and you should too!! Easy and stress free situation. Thank you Plumbing Outfitters!!!!

They wanted $225 for a consultation fee just to give me a quote on sewer repair, when I already had the inspection report with camera pictures. I said no.

Avoid these guys or at the very least shop around before you have them out. I had them out to my residence that my sister resides in (I live out of state and couldn't be present) on 18Jan24 to repair a cracked PVC section on a back-flow device. The service technician arrived after business hours and quoted an outrageous $250 to repair ~5" section of PVC, or roughly 30 minutes of work. I was left with two options, pay this insane price or leave my sister without water, hardly a good position for me to be in.

I spoke with their customer service representative who of course sided with the employee (which is fine) and was also unable to articulate why $250 is a fair price for such a quick, very inexpensive in material ($20 or less), and easy to perform repair. I was given a very obfuscated answer that basically translated to they are going to charge whatever they want. So, I was essentially left extorted for $400/hour, approximately, or leave my sister without water overnight. Way to look out for your community guys. Will never make the mistake of letting you touch my property again.

Oh, that the customer service manager also claimed the technician was at the residence over an hour and a half which is simply not true. In either case, most of this guys time there was spent giving me condescending answers to my questions, and calling his office when I asked for an invoice to pay later after I spoke with a manager.

If you use these guys, I hope you have better luck than I did. I will absolutely be going to literally any other company in the future.

Requested Plumbing Outfitters to check on a leak in one bathroom, and to check for leaks and realign two other faucets in another. They completed all facets of the job without any delays. The were friendly, informative and professional, and I will definitely call them again should we require any further plumbing work.

Called Plumbing Outfitters - Taylor out to advise on a plumbing problem. They were extremely responsive before the visit and very helpful during the visit. I particularly liked the ability to track the location of the technician (Landen) as they approached our property - we knew exactly when he was going to arrive. The advice was exactly what we needed and I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't even charge for the visit as they hadn't done any "work".

Plumbing Outfitters installed a whole house filter system in our house. Melvin from Plumbing Outfitters suggested using a carbon filter to improve the water taste quality. Because of his experience, he was able to locate the main water pipeline near the water heater without digging outside of the house. The other companies proposed digging outside. Because of Melvin's experience, the cost of the project was significantly lower than other companies. The job was done in one day. The communication and planning was done well. I will definitely recommend them.
