Miranda G.If you have any plumbing needs make sure you call Plumbing Masters! They are a family owned and operated business here in STL. They provide real and honest service and will always do right by the customer. They are friendly, fast, and efficient. They do fantastic work! It doesn't get more local than this.
I called this company to get a price range to install common bands on two sink drains. He said ""no way"". I asked if he could tell me $200 or $400, just some idea. He said ""first of all how do you know what the parts are called?"" Secondly, ""I don't know where they are going."" I reminded him I just told him a bathroom and a kitchen sink and an occupancy permit inspector told me the name of the parts. He said ""no way"", I told him he was kind of a smart ass, he was still yelling in the phone cussing me out when I hung up. These people should not work with the public. Avoid this company!
Erin G.They replaced my water main a couple of months ago. I have no complaint about the incredibly simple repair they made. It was so simple, in fact, that I deeply resent wasting two days and dealing with their condescension to get it done. They were dismissive on the phone, rude and condescending in person, and never gave me a price estimate before I got the bill. In truth, I didn't have the heart to ask for the price ahead of time because they were such jerks already. If there hadn't been a winter storm coming, I would have kept shopping around or done it myself, as I'd originally wanted.
I tried being friendly; the apprentice who actually did all the work(!) seemed nice, but was too meek to talk. I was pointedly ignored by the plumber, who only really spoke to me to tell me the price and smirk comically at my dismay. He later had nothing but nice things to say to my husband; he even complimented my husband about the tubing that I(!) had rigged to get the water leaking from the main across our basement to the only floor drain for the TWO DAYS we waited for them to fit us into their schedule. I assumed he thought my tubing was dumb, but I guess he just doesn't like women or- given how sad/beat down his apprentice seemed - anyone he views as beneath him.
Thanks to Plumbing Masters, my husband now know he gets to deal with contractors because I'm too old and have achieved too much to be treated horribly by strangers in my own home.
Gene B.This company is outstanding! A cast iron drain pipe in a crawl space under our kitchen floor was leaking and needed prompt repair. Wow, we are so glad we chose Plumbing Masters. What appeared to be a fairly straightforward job took a turn when the crew of Brian and Chris discovered a contractor who recently did foundation repair work had run a steel peer through another portion of the cast iron drain. Brian quickly developed a solution that closed off the damaged portion and re-routed the drain. Even with the additional work the cost remained within the extremely reasonable estimated cost range. Brian and Chris were extremely polite, professional and respectful of our home. Thank you Plumbing Masters
Plumbing masters came out and installed a new water heater the next day. Very fast work they were done in 2 hours. I didnt do any research so i got a off brand tank that i never heard of and they used more expensive fittings for the pipes. They told me a 40 gallon tank was cheaper to buy rhan 30 gallon tanks? I dont know! Reason: there mass produced? Arn""t all water tanks mass produced? Any way i got a new water tank that cost almost 2 grand and i feel like a shmo for not knowing how much a new water heater should cost to install. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
Plumbing Masters is the best! I've used them for several years now. I never have to feel weird about having the guys in the house if I'm home alone (they are very professional) or worry about somebody trying to talk me into unnecessary work or charges. In fact, they have helped me save money several times. I use them for HVAC work as well, and once they even fixed my washer. :) Highly recommend.

If you need someone to come out and unclog a drain they are 5 stars. They were here 3 times for 3 different drains, addressed the problem and were in and out, problem fixed. So with that being said we had them out to change out our bathtub faucet because the cold side no longer worked. We were told they could change it out for a single handle model.
So the man gets here and his tubing cutter is froze up and he needs some WD40 ( my wife calls me at work to ask if I have any here and I told her I don't know ) ( my first scary moment in this ordeal ). So he gets his cutter working and proceeds to cut a hole in my bathroom wall to cut out the old faucet ( now sometimes when that happens water will leak out, so he has to ask my wife for a sponge.) I come home to see the finished product and to my amazement the chrome piece that covers the old faucet holes is not screwed to the wall, and the screw holes are filled with putty. Called the company the next day to have someone come out and address the problem and he didn't fix it either.
We were left with a crappy job that I have to try to fix and that was the reason for calling a plumber in the first place so I don't have to do it. Never again.
DO NOT USE this company!!! I waited all day for them to show up and they never did! I called their office & the person who answered the phone had virtually NO INFORMATION and said he had no way of contacting technicians in the field. I texted the technician (Ralph) two or three times, first trying to get an idea of a time block, then finally asking whether he would even show up and I received no response whatsoever. Not only was this unprofessional, it was also rude! The lack of respect for my time and indifference to my attempts to contact them is completely UNFORGIVABLE!!!! DO NOT CALL Plumbing Masters unless your time is absolutely worthless and you like being ignored!!! No Stars!!!
Echo M.So had a kitchen sink clog for the first time ever. The guy they sent did a half hearted attempt to unclog before upwelling me on replacing an entire pipe
Line at the low price of 500 bucks. I asked he he should check the stack and he told me it was illegal for him the climb a ladder when it rains . It was literally sprinkling and it is a one story house with a flat roof.
While he was story telling I called rotorooter. And they had the plumbing fixed within the hour. I also asked for a specific plumber when I made the appointment and they told me oh we aren't going to send you that guy. It would cost you more to have him come out. Ummm doesn't that sound a little scammy to you ?
Our kitchen sinks/dishwasher were clogged. Big mess. Larry arrived exactly when he said he would and fixed our problem. Our house is ""unique"" in many ways, and this issue was no different. A challenge. We were very pleased.
