Plumbing & Cooling Nerds is the third evolution of the plumbing and air conditioning company that was established by John Verhoff following his move to Southwest Florida in 2007. At first, he specialized in new construction projects. However, after navigating the 2008-2009 recession, he recognized that working with contractors limited his control over business operations. In 2012, Verhoff redirected his efforts towards home services, first teaming up with a friend on a company that operated in Florida and two additional states. In 2016, he acquired his friend's share of the Florida segment of the business, he required a new name and brand image. This led to the creation of Plumbing & Cooling Nerds. Plumbing & Cooling Nerds is dedicated to delivering “smarter home solutions” that are “provided with a commitment to quality”.

My passion for home services began in high school, and I'm committed to providing the highest level of service to my customers.
