Plumbing & Cooling Nerds is the third evolution of the plumbing and air conditioning company that was founded by John Verhoff after relocating to Southwest Florida in 2007. Initially, he focused on new construction. Yet, after enduring the 2008-2009 recession, he understood that contractor work restricted his business autonomy. In 2012, Verhoff redirected his efforts towards home services, initially collaborating with a friend on a business with branches in Florida and two other states. After purchasing his friend's stake in the Florida division in 2016, he needed a new name and identity. That’s when Plumbing & Cooling Nerds came to life. At Plumbing & Cooling Nerds, we take pride in providing “smarter home solutions” that are “delivered with nerd-like enthusiasm”.

I've been passionate about home services since high school, and I'm committed to providing the highest level of service to my customers. In 2007, I launched Plumbing Nerds, I recognized the demand for a more customer-focused plumbing service. Our mission is to ""transform perceptions of skilled trades"".
