The journey of Plumbing & Cooling Nerds marks the third chapter of the plumbing and HVAC company started by John Verhoff upon his move to Southwest Florida in 2007. Initially, he focused on new construction projects. However, after navigating the 2008-2009 recession, he recognized that working for contractors limited his control over business operations. In 2012, Verhoff redirected his efforts to home services, first collaborating with a friend on a company with locations in Florida and two other states. When he acquired his friend's share of the Florida business in 2016, he sought a new name and brand identity. Thus, Plumbing & Cooling Nerds was established. Plumbing & Cooling Nerds is proud to offer “smart home solutions” with a commitment to enthusiastic service.
