Plumbing & Cooling Nerds represents the third phase of the plumbing and air conditioning business founded by John Verhoff after relocating to Southwest Florida in 2007. He began his career working on new construction jobs. However, after navigating the 2008-2009 recession, he recognized that working for contractors limited his control over business operations. In 2012, Verhoff pivoted to home services, partnering with a friend on a company that had branches in Florida and two additional states. When he acquired his friend's share of the Florida business in 2016, he sought a new name and brand identity. This led to the birth of Plumbing & Cooling Nerds. Plumbing & Cooling Nerds is proud to offer “smart home solutions” with a commitment to enthusiastic service.
