Just wanted to thank Jay, the plumber sent to repair/replace my garbage disposal this morning. He arrived on time, assessed the problem and replaced the disposal efficiently, cleaning up everything and keeping me informed of what he was doing. He was very personable and efficient. I would not recommend the Plumber - Plumbing By Paul to do any Plumbing, Toilet Repair, Water Heater Installation, Toilet Installation, or any Plumbing related activities. I had them come out to a property to get a list of items completed and instead of doing anything that was listed in the items to be completed they decided to pull the toilet and complete a main line service which was not requested and preceded to send me a bill for $425 for the main line stoppage and then an access fee of $150. This was not the work that was requested by the company, this work was not authorized, but was the only thing that was completed. Plumbing By Paul did not complete any of the items that were actually requested by their company and insisted that the bill be paid or they would lien the property. I feel this is a horrible way to do business and just want everyone to be wary of companies that operate dishonestly.

When using the tub shower, after pulling up the diverter there seemed to be more water coming from the spout then I thought there should be, which affected the shower pressure as well. Also, I needed the tub drain stopper and overflow plate replaced. I reached out through """"Next Door"""" for recommendations for a plumber. Plumbing by Paul was one of the most recommended. I called and made an appointment. The office staff who answered the phone couldn't be more pleasant and friendly. Jay was the plumber who came out to take care of the issues. He was very personable and informative. He took his time and everything now works perfectly. I highly recommend Plumbing by Paul!

I don't recommend Plumbing by Paul for several reasons. The customer service is terrible. Specially the two girls who answer the phone. They are really bad at following up with things and returning calls. My experience with them was that once they had payment, they pretty much forget about you. The two girls who answer the phone will tell you something like """"We will call you back later today"""" and that will not occur but the first thing they ask once the job is done is that need payment without even giving you a report of what they've done or found.

We are relocating our kitchen. The team, Johan, Carlos and Leo were extremely professional and polite. They took pride in their work. they covered walkways and moved outdoor mats, (which I hadn't even considered). We are passed midway (I hope) on this particular project, so it's not quite over yet....but so far I'd thoroughly recommend them. Now that we have met these guys and seen their work I think we are feeling a little more ambitious again, with their help be more confident about our next project, the bathroom. I'd also like to give a shout out to the office peeps too, also very helpful and professional, thank you.

This company was hired by my apartment complex (Beacon430) to address a sewer smell in my apartment. The sewer gas was immediately noticed by the plumbing technician, trap vent replaced, lines flushed, etc. the technician notified me of the steps taken and verified that the smell was from sewer gas (3 mentions of sewer gas). When I notified my apartment (because I was experiencing dizziness and headaches) they told me that it wasn't sewer gas and to call the plumbing company to straighten it out. The plumbing company said no one spoke with me. The receptionist at Plumbing by Paul stated """"our technicians know not to say sewer gas."""" I then send videos of the technician wearing a plumbing by Paul shirt stating it was sewer gas three times because he stepped in front of my ring camera. Called the plumbing company today and they will neither confirm or deny there was sewer gas and told me they cannot discuss the matter with me. I asked the receptionist if this was the right thing to do as I am still experiencing dizziness, and she stated """"this is how I have been told to handle this, I'm sorry you feel this way."""" When a company won't do the right thing when health and safety is a concern... RED FLAG.

Tyler was the plumber who came out to take care of my problem. He was so personable and I instantly felt at ease. He treated me as if I was his mother and I appreciated that. Explained everything he was going to do and showed me what it would entail. Gave me the price upfront. He had the problem taken care if within an hour. It had to do with a clog in the pipe leading out from my home to the yard. There is no way I could have fixed that. I'm a widow whose hubby used to repair everything. Sometimes it is difficult to know who to trust but they had great recommendations on ILSP (fb site) and I am so grateful that I selected them. Highly recommend them and Tyler is a gem!

I am a local Realtor in St Pete and called Plumbing by Paul after hearing raving reviews about the Company. Our toilet had leaked and we had Tyler out, he did not know what the problem was so he let us know he was going to try a few things; however, he began replacing brand new interior items within the tank and nothing helped. He got up on the roof and blew out the lines, told us it would fix our issue for now; however, we would need to replace all of our pipes because of their age, and the hissing noise we were hearing, whatever he did only made the issue worse, and we called again, had Tyler and a colleague out again. Here he goes, changing out yet another brand new item in the tank (he explained that this is protocol because they order them by cases and they are often not the greatest and need to be replaced often) I mean, every two weeks? The two of them continued talking about how we need to make sure we write a review, I was asking Questions that neither of them could answer, and truly was curious why they would be bringing up a Review, again, on their second visit, without being able to fix our issue. He did mention again that it was likely a decay in our aging pipes, and he will be sending us a quote for a full repipe of our Home. A hissing noise remained and I ran to the truck and asked when that would stop. They let me know that it would go away once the bowl was full. Here we are again, an hour later and the hiss is absurd, I call in to the office and we now need a THIRD visit. Why would they have left prior to allowing the bowl to fill and making sure our issue was resolved? Again, this was your second time out. I reluctantly schedule a THIRD service call with Missy in the office, she lets us know the Partner was going to come out and we set the time for 11:30, I left work, and was ready, well at 11:34 she let me know that he was on the way, but stuck in a little traffic and would be a few more minutes. 12:19, she lets me know he will be there in 15 minutes. At 12:40 (( one hour and 10 minutes later )) and at this point, I cannot return to work, he arrives and says that He let the office know he was on another job, he was not going to be to our home until 12:30 and he doesn't understand why Missy would have said otherwise. I was beyond devastated that on our THIRD visit, we are now losing money from work, and Missy is blatantly lying on text message to us. We have requested a call from the Owner on Thursday June 2 at 12:34 pm, I have followed up twice since then for a refund and a call from the Owner, and at this point I am completely out of ideas and finally frustrated enough to publish my Review. I work in the Community every single day representing families both buying and selling homes. I truly hold my Vendors so near and dear to me and my families that I assist and this has been a truly heartbreaking display of just how down hill our business' are becoming. Once a trusted, professional business who we would never hesitate to refer is blacklisted from my, as well as my Brokerage vendor list. I would love to make this right, but I have not been able to get in touch with the Owner in 7 days, to the hour, to save my life. I request my refund in full, no longer need a telephone call, but hope that anyone using this company within the Community has a better experience than we have had. We have since had cameras down our pipes and have ABSOLUTELY no reason to repipe our Home, as they found there to be no leak, and no issue.

I first got the referral to Plumbing by Paul. I used them in October of 2020. They were great! Did quality work, quick response, and reasonably priced. I continued to refer them to others in the group. Now it is 2022 and I need a plumber, so I called Plumbing by Paul and it was a whole different experience. Advertised as a 24/7 company. Called 3 times on the weekend finally reached them Monday 01/25/22, they came out at 4p, I requested 2 toilets be repaired, wax seals and guts, run a snake between the 2 toilets, and replace the guts of the tanks. I had 2 kits which I showed him. He gave me an estimate of 869.00, which I thought was High. He rebuilt the flange replaced the wax seal and the guts in one toilet and replaced the water valve on the other one and ran the snake between them. Approximately 1.5 hours. I noticed the 2ndpackage of guts was not used and immediately called the office. No answer. Then I noticed the same toilet was not sealed and rocking. I followed up the phone call with an email. Unfortunately, it only gets worse from here. After, numerous conversations, he came back out and wanted to charge an extra 263.00 to replace the guts. I told him No Thank you and called the office again. After, 7 emails, 5 texts, too many phone calls, and 2 missed appointments, and 3 weeks. 01/25-02/18 He comes out again today,02/18 to tell me that the original estimate was for only 1 toilet. I can honestly tell you that I would never have paid 869.00 to have 1 toilet - 1 snake done when I supplied the parts. I would have paid the service fee and sent him on his way. It appears as if all the business thrown his way from ILSP has hurt their ability as a company and their prices sky rocketed while service got worse.
