First of all, they sent Alex, who is a whiz-kid & the nicest, polite-est, knowledgeable plumber in the world. The problem turned out to be way bigger than I thought it was, and Alex handled it all -- & now I have a fully functioning kitchen again -- & he even cleaned up!! As for the company itself, they are reliable & responsible and obviously hire good people. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Technician was supposed to service two garbage disposals and left me hanging without reason on a leak from a garbage disposal for the 2nd unit, did not give any reason as to why they will not service, he got on the phone with warranty company and tried to be shady about it and at the end stated that he will not service the second unit and that the warranty company will send out another company. Contacted the warranty company and the company had no record of anyone stating that they would send out a different company. It turns out that the technician claimed to the warranty company that the 2nd unit was in a different address. Wow how many ways can a technician avoid providing proper service. I should have had a red flag that he was dishonest when he Installed over a year old garbage disposal to replace the first unit and wanted to mix a used part from a different manufacturer on the 1st unit. When I insisted he does not do so, he was annoyed that I am asking him not to. He was in a rush to get out because I was his last appointment of the day and it wasn't even 3 pm when my scheduled window was between 3-5 pm He still left part components out of the garbage disposal, when I reach out the product vendor, customer support stated that the missing parts are important part of the install. I am physically challenged and it is a challenge for me to travel back and forth to deal with shady nonsense company.
If I could give no stars, I would.

First and foremost, I want to say HANDS DOWN, the folks of Plumber Boy are the absolute best to work with.

Plumber Boy fixed a broken shower valve that another company in my area failed miserably with.

January 2017, I noticed that my master bedroom shower was only putting out scalding hot water, no cold water. My home warranty provider, Fidelity National, contracted a reputable plumbing company in Long Beach to do the fix. After a 5 minute visit to my house, the plumber determined the problem to be a broken temperature valve and said he would be back to fix the issue. Never came back. Then they sent another guy over, never came back. Then they sent a supervisor. He never came back. After 4 months of going back and forth with this company about why the problem was still not fixed (lots of waiting, vague answers, shady explanations, excuse after excuse), I finally had enough! I called Fidelity to send over a new plumber.

May 2017, David of Plumber Boy (San Pedro) shows up at my house. From the first impression I knew this guy was all business. David took a look at the valve and immediately recognized it to be a hard-to-find, rare Kohler part that had to be special ordered from another state. He also said that the valve unit was complex and that a lot of work will be required to get the old parts out, and the new parts in. He said it wasn't going to be easy but that he would get it done. Basically, the other company quit on the job because the job was too complicated. Being disappointed in the past, I was a bit skeptical.

Over the next few weeks, David worked on the damn shower valve. During one visit, he spent 3 hours straight with it. The problem was way more complicated than we initially thought but he never gave up. Guy was one the phone looking for parts, driving all over southern California to find things and just dealing with the whole situation like a beast! There was also a time when his supervisor and colleague came by to help. They were all determined to get things right, regardless of how long it took or how difficult it was. Fast forward to today, I now have a shower that works PERFECTLY.

Long story short, Plumber Boy is the ish. If you want an honest, no-nonsense, professional plumbing company to work with - these are the experts to call! My man David was awesome. He was professional, courteous, upfront and honest, provides timely updates, doesn't give up, and always on time at the house. His work is SOLID.

Thank you Plumber Boy plumbing! Your response was very impressive. My family thanks you for your service and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to anyone who has plumbing issues.

This company is amazing! I had five plumbers look at my GROHE shower fixtures and everyone told me that my situation was too complicated or that GROHE parts were too hard to get so they couldn't help me. David was the first person to actually work at fixing my problem. I knew the plumber boy was different when before the actual appointment date, they asked me for photos and any information about the problem so that they could get as much info as possible coming in. David committed to our issue and was genuine in wanting to help us get to the bottom of our problem. It wasn't easy but he took everything apart, discovered the potential issues and started to work on one thing at a time. By the time he was finished our problem was fixed and no new parts needed to be ordered. Our home warranty company sent the plumber boy to us and we are so grateful that they did.

Like a lot of the other reviewers, we got set up with Plumber Boy by our home warranty company. We hate our home warranty company (fuck you, Fidelity), but they did a good thing by sending Plumber Boy our way.

We had a rattly garbage disposal for months before finally working up the initiative to put in a work order. If I'd known how easy it was (aside from Fidelity holding us up), I would've dealt with it much earlier. We made an appointment with Plumber Boy, and Michael and David showed up and spent a total of ten minutes fixing our problems.

They were really polite and professional, and they made quick work of our disposal, extracting all the evils that had built up and contributed to that weird rattle (there was a screw in there, among other things, I have no idea what from). We'd noticed another one of our sinks was draining a little slowly and I asked if they'd also be able to look at that while they were here. They said because of the home warranty connection, they could only do what was specified in the work order, but ah, what the hey, they looked anyway and totally just unclogged that sink in minutes, gratis. I tipped for that, but have no idea what they would've charged. It was really nice of them to take care of it, and I'm glad all our sinks are working again.

We're not planning to renew our home warranty when it runs out in a couple of months, but I'm glad to have Plumber Boy for future plumbing mishaps. I think we'll get along fine without the middleman.

I moved into a new house and had a main line plumbing back up almost immediately. First, the home warranty company sent a plumber from another company and he couldn't get it cleared. So, the warranty company sent in the big guns - Plumber Boy. They were fast, courteous, professional and efficient. Plumber Boy got the job done, and showed me on a camera that it was cleared. Then, I hired them to do some additional work - put in a clean-out to make this easier in the future - and they did that promptly and professionally. I very rarely yelp, but I had to post a note of recognition to Garcia! Just had an awesome experience with D.Garcia - Not only was he knowledgeable, but extremely professional. My appointment time was set between 2-4 today, he called at 12:59pm to let me know that he will be in my area to service my plumbing issues. Super early! So grateful! He had a great attitude and cheerful disposition! I was even more impressed (without me asking) that he ran back out to his vehicle and grabbed ""booties"" to place over his shoes to protect my floor! The problem is that I have a to pay a non refundable payment for them to come out and give me an estimate. Why should I have to pay them for an estimate? There's no reason for them to offer any competitive prices them becuase they know I wont get my deposit back, so I'm stuck. This is the business model they use when customers are cuaght in an emergency situation and have little choices. Not happy about that.
