I was robbed of a refund of a payment I made to my home warrranty because of this ill practice I experienced with Plumber Boy.

As a contracted third party through my home warranty, they were to be scheduled for an appointment to repair a leaky plumbing and to change our valve and relocate to the other side of the wall.

On the day, the employee of this business came in and asked if we filled the forms and if we had documentations from the insurance company, an asbestos test for the wall, and proof of a 48-hour notice to other tenants that the water was going to be shut off... Of course we didn't nor were we given prior notice of all these requirements from them. He said without them he will not do the work, and left. The mannerism was that he knew we wouldn't have it and was getting paid just to show up and say he inspected it. And for this reason, I was not able to get refunded for a lot of money I spent on nothing. Meanwhile, water was still leaking. FYI the home warranty noticed the request for an asbestos test was not notated in their communication.

We noticed a leak coming out from underneath our sink. We called our home warranty to schedule a service and our home warranty sent Plumber Boy. They came fairly quickly after making the request so I'll give them that. However, after the plumber identified the problem as our garbage disposal/ pipes being corroded which is causing the leak, he said that he would need to order a special part to replace whatever it was that needed replacing. The plumber gave us a timeframe of 1 week to order the part and then set up an appointment. After 2 weeks passed, we got no call or update regarding the order or setting up a follow up appointment.

After multiple calls going to voicemail, we finally got a woman over the phone who answered that said they just received the special part and that the office will call us back to schedule an appointment with dispatch. Another week rolls by...and no phone call or update yet again.

We call our home insurance a few days ago to let them know we would like another provider because of all the trouble so far...and the associate put us on hold for a few minutes, claims he spoke to someone from Plumber Boy, and was told that they would PROMISE to call us to schedule an appointment for Friday (today), and of course...no call, no update, phone goes straight to voicemail yet again. After reading other reviews on here recently, this seems to be a common theme. My advice is if you have the option to go somewhere else, please do. The first time we saw someone or spoke with someone from plumber boy was in the beginning of September. It is now mid October and we've yet to receive any information or assistance.

Great service at a very reasonable price. We had kitchen sink drain clogged. I tried to use a drain snake to get rids of the clogs, but was unsuccessful. I reached Plumber Boy for help. David came and not only solved the problem but also provided recommendations on how to avoid it in the future. I am definitely going to use his services in the future.

Our garbage disposal broke and caused a leak under our sink, over a month ago they said they would call back to verify coming and repairing the unit / leak. They have not even answered the phone a single time after contacting them repeatedly several times a week. Would not recommend to anyone.

Stay away from this place! Initially came to make a repair. A week later it went bad again, I have called numerous times but only get voicemail.
Don't say I didn't warn you...

Hired them to replace water heater part. Paid them and have been waiting for 3 weeks with zero communication. Have been trying to call daily during work hours over and over to no response. Not reliable, not professional. Any other company would be a better choice.

We had a water leak in our house. We called Plumber Boy through our home warranty, Fidelity National, which is awful. The plumber came out and did the work the first time. I noticed one of the toilets still had a leak and I called them back. The person there wouldn't do any work since the water was not actively leaking. This is because I had shut off the water to the toilet. I would definitely not recommend them. A lot of better plumbers available on Yelp.

These guys are the best! So super duper nice and they get the job done promptly, accurately and at a fair price. I actually decided not to go through my home insurance and simply get the job done with these guys. It's fantastic doing business with people you trust and like!

David arrived at our house after our water heater broke. He was fantastic, being very respectful of masks and was informative of the issues. He got it working again temporarily which was a savior, but also when it broke again he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me walking through steps on how to fix myself. After that didn't work, he worked hard to fit us in for a full replacement on short notice. Once he was done, it all worked and we've had no issues since. Would call again if had any issues.
