I had this company repair a leaking shower faucet. They charge a $69 trip fee regardless of whether you decide to use them or not. I knew that I needed a new cartridge which is $38 at home depot. Their total estimate was $368 which included the $69 trip fee. I thought that was high but decided to just get it over with and they offered a $25 coupon for new customers.. We agreed to the price and he said he had the parts in his truck to do the work. Thirty minutes later, he informed me that he had to saw off the handle and I needed to either purchase a new one or else he would have to charge me additional fees. He said he would do me a favor and order the part from Delta and I could install it myself for free. He said it was easy to do. Anyway a week later (without a shower to use) the part arrived. I am not a plumber and I couldn't figure out how to install it. I called them back and they said it would be an additional fee. Why would I even call a plumber if I could do it myself? I escalated to the manager and he sent another plumber to fix it without any additional fees.If you use this company make sure to get everything in writing up front.

I just bought my first house and contacted PlumbWorks hoping to get a service contract. A few days later we discovered a new leak - I freaked and called them at like 9pm, and they scheduled me for service the next day! The plumber who came said our water heater was old and suggested replacement. So I called yesterday when we decided to make the purchase. PlumbWorks was able to get a service person out, again, the VERY next day (which is today) to survey and discuss prices with me. Surprise! They were able to install today too. I'm really impressed with how quickly and professionally service is completed with this company. The service man put dropcloths everywhere to protect my floors and cleaned up after himself. Really all around 5 stars.

I called plumbworks to convert a single bathroom sink into a double sink and they wanted to charge $70 to """"look at the job and give me an estimate""""....I'm site had I done it their price would be higher than others svc I would have wasted $70. It also took more than 24 hours to even call me back. Don't hire them they just want your money.

I have used Plumbing Works a couple of times now, and have been served will. Daryl J. came out on time and explained what the job would in tale and what the cost would be for the work. He was very professional and polite. Thank you Plumbing Works.

Had plumbworks come out to replace leaking shower faucet valve stems. I was charged $210.01 for a 1/2 hour INCORRECT DIAGNOSIS ! I informed Vann that the valve stems needed to be replaced. He then went on to attempt to up-sell $1581.69 worth of work that was not required !. He informed me that the entire fixture was corroded and the tile would have to come out. He then began """"The pay extra now and get a value rate"""" con game. Horrible ethics and very dishonest in their attempt to perform unneeded work. Avoid this company at all costs !!! I was charged $210.01 for 1/2 hour visit. I wish I made that kind of money in a 1/2 hour. I had the valve stems replaced for under $325.00. Avoid this company

Darryl and Erica were great to work with. Darryl was professional, timely, completed his work and cleaned up. Erica was very responsive in scheduling an appointment and we were able to get Darryl on site with very little lead time.

Our experience with Plumbworks is that they are responsive but also very expensive and their pricing is calculated to get the most out of you. We used them during an emergency when we first moved here. They """"fixed"""" a major drainage clog In the short term but the problem recurred because they had simply pushed the blockage out to the front of the house. Instead of backing up their work they charged us all over again as if it were a new and unrelated problem. They offered us a """"discount"""" program but we got a second quote from another plumber which was $600 lower than the """"special"""" Plumbworks offer.

Vann did a great job figuring out our leak issue. Cleaned up nicely after finishing....I plan to use them again for any other plumbing issues we have.

Joe Soleto came out to move our water heater and remove some old unused gas lines. He was extremely professional and very fair in pricing the job. I have had 4-5 plumbers come out for various tasks and I feel that Plumb Works represented great value and quality work. I would definitely hire them again.

My initial experience with the service technician was very unsatisfactory. I explained that I had a problem with my water heater expansion tank. The technician checked the tank and saw that there was no air or water inside, which I already knew. He explained that it just needed air, but he had no air compressor and that I should take care of this myself, or he could replace the tank for $299. The technician didn't tell me anything I hadn't already known and told me that the simple solution was to do it myself since he couldn't. His visit didn't provide me any new information and he made no offer to fix the problem for me, only to do an expensive replacement. However, Erica and Josh whom I spoke to the next day were very considerate and responsive. Josh explained the two options much more clearly than the technician and why the technician, even if he had an air compressor, would likely not have wanted to perform the repair because it would only be temporary. Although not solving my problem, this explanation was at least reasonable, rather than a simple refusal to fill the tank. Josh was even kind enough to refund the cost of my service visit. Although not the best result for me, the responsiveness to my complaint and an effort made to explain the actions of the technician and provide him a better excuse were very welcome. Overall, a good experience.
