Company Overview
Plumb-Rite Services offers complete plumbing solutions. Jack Hayes, a Master Plumber and our founder, first entered the plumbing field in high school as a plumber's helper. Upon finishing high school at Lafayette Christian Academy, he enrolled in engineering classes at USL and graduated with a Mechanical Degree from MSU. During his studies, he supported his education by taking on plumbing work in the evenings for several local firms. He passed the State Plumbing License Exam in 1984 with a remarkable score of 99 and established his own company: Jack Alvan Hayes Plumbing and Heating, later known as Plumb-Rite Services in 2000. In 2010, his spouse, Earline, began overseeing the office and management aspects of the company. Earline is now the majority owner at 51% and oversees the daily management of the business. Kat L.I called and they took 2 weeks to send someone over to fix the problem, but when he arrived to my house he had the wrong equipment. He said he would come back in a week, well a week went by and nothing, so I called. They said they had to order a part and would call when it came in. I waited 2 weeks and nothing so I called again, they said the part had shipped but did not have a delivery date and would call when it arrived. Waited another 2 weeks and nothing. These people are unprofessional. I ended up calling another pluming service and they came and fixed the problem the next day!
