They canceled on us 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive for the job, and offered to reschedule a week out. I guess at least they called to cancel?

They were pretty responsive in terms of coming out to take a look at our problem and discuss our options with us verbally, in theory in order to give us a quote.

Unfortunately, while the guy was very nice, all we ended up with was a charge for a quote, of $75, which was not disclosed until after he showed up and described his recommendations (replacing toilet sewer line, replacing tile work around a leaking tub shower).

We learned later from another plumber that our toilet sewer connection was fine. The only evidence of issues was very old (ie, it was not an active issue but was fine now) and when this other plumber replaced the toilet for us, he showed us how there was no active leak and hadn't been for a long time.

We also learned from the other plumber that we didn't need to remove all our tile and replace it to deal with the leaking shower stall. Rather, we just needed to re-grout the existing tile -- a far smaller and less expensive job.

So we were disappointed with Plumb Perfect. They were the ONLY person who charged us to create a quote....that cost was not disclosed ahead of time.....and what he told us needed to be done didn't actually end up being the case.

Outstanding service by a really great person, named Chris. You should be very proud to have a guy like that working for you. He figured out what to do with the old faucets in our bathtub, right away. Then, Chris came back promptly on Tuesday morning. He had all 3 bathroom fixtures all put back together very quickly.

I had a very old sink needing either replacing or restoring. With everything built around it, the sink was impossible to replace without redoing the whole bathroom. They restored this old sink so it almost looked new. Very few plumbers can or would do this.

Several years later, I'm still happily working with Dave and his technicians. Just today they came by to change the anode rod in the HW heater, and check drains in advance of having guests for Thanksgiving. Also found out that one of Dave's techs lives in Santa Cruz, so they do work over the hill as well. (Dave has done work for me in Santa Cruz, but I didn't realize he actually has techs who live there.)

I called Dave on a Wednesday to give me pricing, and on Friday he started and finished the job. Excellent work very fair pricing and nice to deal with. I will most definately be back when I have the need again.

My friend recommended Plumb Perfect as I had a clogged kitchen sink as she said they did a great job with her clogged kitchen sink too. Was able to get an appointment the following day. They sent Chris and Andrew who arrived on time ! The job took longer than expected because of the grease and grime over the years plus the way the pipes were laid. Chris and Andrew snaked much further than required to ensure every thing was cleared of the grime. They were polite, brought a cover for the floor to ensure their equipment did not damage the floor and cleaned up after the job. Plumb Perfect will be the to go plumber for me ! Ah .... the power of word of mouth !
