NO TRUST FOR THIS COMPANY!!
We have a home warranty. This company was assigned our file. Horrible experience. First apt 10/20
Said they'd be back on the 21st. That didn't happen. Second apt 10/23
Home warranty denied claim, which happens they then quoted
$650 to fix shut-off and the leak. We asked to review and would get back to them. Third apt 10/26 Called said the tech was ill so they didn't make ot.
Fourth apt 10/27 same leak, same problem was quoted $1000 to fix leak and a seperate $700 to fix shut-off valve. We called their main office and was told they would resolve why such a different quote several times and they they would let us know. The plumber left while we did this. They never called us back and closed the case. Still haven't heard back. This delay on appts and the run around caused a larger water damage issue. Could not recommend them less!!!

Plumb Genius misdiagnosed my plumbing issue several times, which created several unnecessary repairs that left my flooring and wall completely torn up. The last repair, which addressed the real issue, cost $3,700.13. The men doing the repair were grossly negligent and destroyed the piping and wiring for my sprinkler system. They knew I wouldn't be using it very soon since it was not the time of year for watering the lawn, and so they covered up the damage they created and didn't tell me about it. My landscaper discovered the issue right where they were digging when he started watering again. Plumb Genius refused to give me any signed documents and refused to assist with the repair. Although they may claim the damage is not their responsibility, consumers are protected by law from gross negligence, which is what occurred here. I wish I had checked out this company through the Better Business Bureau before contracting them. Do not use this company. They lack integrity and should be put out of business.

They came out to install a new garbage disposal it died within 2 months. I called to speak with a technician to advise how to reset and was denied. The secretary said I'd have to pay again. horrible customer service!!!!

We had some issues with our plumbing; the toilets weren't flushing properly and we had backup into the bathtub.

We called our home warranty company and they assigned us to a company. This company never called us back!

I called our home warranty company again and asked if they could reassign us to another company, which they did!

Plumb Genius texted us and said they would be available between 2-6. Then they called and said it would be 2:00! We received another text saying they would arrive at 1:40! Sure enough, Josh arrived at exactly 1:40!

Josh was able to clear the blockage in under an hour! He answered any questions we had. He did a great job!

By the way, this happened on Super Bowl Sunday! Very thankful for Plumb Genius!

Plumb Genius was sent to my house by American Home Shield.My garbage disposal quit working ,so they installed a new one.IT IS THE MOST INEFFECTIVE/CHEAP disposal they could have chosen.I found out how poorly it works the next day I used it. Next day,1st noticed water standing still in drain. Then each time I ran it,it took a continual turning it on & running water @ same time trying to get small soft food to go down the drain.I have to help it along by using a plastic large spoon to push debris down.I was told yrs ago to never put hard veggies(carrots,celery, etc) in disposal, so I never do that.Be aware! American Home Shield wouldn't back me up!Don't recommend them either.They go up in price every year.Wasn't told that info while being a fairly new customer. Will be looking for a new Home Warranty Company.Wish I knew whom to call!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We had sewage water coming up from the tub/shower drains since last Tuesday 12/20, the earliest they could come out was Friday 12/23, so Friday, the tech arrives spends barely 30 mins and said everything was fixed. Then two days later on Christmas morning, the shower and tub is overflowing with sewage water AGAIN!! Then, I called this morning to have the tech dispatched since they failed to complete the job the first time, however, showed no urgency nor sympathy for their mistake whatsoever and scheduled us for THURSDAY 12/29!!!!!! Because of their incompetence and unprofessionalism, our Christmas was ruined and now going over a week without any running water or toilets!!!! BEWARE!!!!!

Plumb Genius has a low rating for a good reason! They do not stand behind their work! The hot water heater they replaced was leaking because they used the wrong type of material on one of the parts. They charged me the service fee as well as the cost of the correct part. The lady in the office is extremely rude and not willing to even try to help with any issues. They also over charged me the first visit when they changed out the hot water heater and I was told would be refunded but after several calls back to the office about it, I got tired of dealing with the ladies in the office so just took the loss. I will never us this company again.

I have an older home and have had to use several different plumbing services and Plumb Genius is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. They scheduled a full day starting at 8am to replace my sewer line and showed up 2 hours late then rushed the job and destroyed my property with absolutely no regard. They split the concrete pad in my yard in half even though it was not in the way of the job and just gave me a simple ""sorry"". They are very vague on communicating pricing and just try to get you to swipe your credit card prior to the job then have zero regard for how they finish it. I have seen many messy sewer line repairs but the guys were in a hurry to go home after showing up 2 hours late so they didnt even refill the trench they dug, they just pushed all the dirt up next to it. I would advise to steer clear of this plumbing service. I had a terrible experience.

Thought it would of been a good experience from the first time meeting the tech he was very nice. Then after he left, I will say the customer service and follow up is an absolute joke. I have called multiple times to get an update on my work order and it has now been over a week that I have been out of hot water. The first time was a miss diagnosis. Now they have sent video off to Navien to further diagnosis the issue. Call today to ask about an update and she basically stated that she will have the tech call to see. Then told me I was more than welcome to call another company for a second opinion because I stated that I needed this addressed immediately . I shouldn't have to call multiple times to follow up with a service that I am paying for. Now reading the reviews, It looks like I should of done my research.

After PLUMB GENIUS didn't show for our 10-2 appt, with no call or text, I asked my boyfriend to call to find out what was going on. (I was in an all day training and couldn't make the call
Myself.) They apparently told him a tech didn't show up AND their Internet was down. Apparently they don't have a backup system to alert customers in these situations.

Due to still needing the plumber, it was rescheduled for 1-5 today.

We were able to get in touch with RotoRooter who actually answered their phones, and could come out the same day.

So I called Plumb Genius SEVERAL times to cancel the work order. However, they didn't answer their phone, and their voicemail was full.

I just got a text letting me know the plumber was on the way. Shoot! Totally forgot! So I called and said we'd had the appt for yesterday, but had to call Roto-Rooter, paying 3x our warranty fee, and to cancel the appointment. Holy cow! This woman flipped out!

She said ""if it was an emergency why didn't you let us come out on Tuesday?"" Because we work. You know, to make money to pay the plumber. She said it must not have been an emergency at all. It wasn't an emergency on Tuesday, but had escalated to the point we couldn't shower or flush. To me, that's an emergency.

That she doesn't understand that plumbing issues can go from merely annoying to emergency status is concerning. Perhaps she just started working there.

THEN she called me back to swear at me! And point out that someone had rescheduled yesterday for today (yes bc we didn't know our options at the time and wanted an appointment on the books--not that appointments really seem to matter with Plumb genius. I told her since it was an emergency, we called RotoRooter, who answered their phones and were able to schedule the service. She continued to berate me and when I asked for her supervisor she claimed she wasn't there, that she would talk to me in the same manner, and refused to give me her supervisors name or number of course.

Charming experience. I'll be sure to let my warranty company know of their ""service"".
