We had called them to relocate some plumbing lines underneath our home within the huge crawlspace. Upon the first inspection they said it would not exceed $600 for labor and materials. At the end of the project I was given a bill for roughly $1300 for the work that we had agreed upon. Their pricing for parts is literally twice the cost to purchase at the local Home Depot. I completely understand having a markup on parts, by charging twice the amount is not reasonable in any way shape or form.

Terrible customer service. They either never arrive and make excuses or tell the customer it is their fault. Twice had an appointment and both times never received a call. When you reach out to them they respond in a petty way as if they are an anonymous troll on Twitter. I would recommend going elsewhere if you want to be treated well.

Plotke just responded in less than an hour to my call about our hot water heater, which just needed a reset. Jose, the plumber they sent out, was very kind and professional and definitely knew what to do to quickly restore service. Dispatcher Javier is always a delight to work with, getting his guys to you asap. I really thought I had written a review about Plotke Plumbing after they replaced our commercial size hot water heater that services 5 large units in our condo building in Larchmont Village but I see I didn't follow through for them. Plotke has done a lot of big jobs for us before. The last water heater they installed lasted 20 years! Per our by-laws we have to get several bids for a purchase that large, and Plotke--without seeing comparisons--was the most affordable. Mario, who has been manager there forever, worked with us. He got us an excellent unit and price, and came back to oversee the city inspection, and did the minor work that needed to be done to bring the job up to code, not only in our garage but also up on our roof (we are a 2.5 story building). Always pleasant, always fast, always sends a whole team of guys to fix or install ASAP, we fully endorse this company. Glad we can grow old together!
