This place made $700 worth of repairs but I still had a leak after their fixes. They also has a LOT of extra parts and charge a LOT for them. They did not respond to repeated requests for discussion on the topic. I paid them so I guess that's all they care about. But I'm not sure that they added any value to my situation. I think it's only fair that I post about this situation. The only 1 star I've ever posted. It would be nice if people earned their pay.

OMG...this is the worse plumbing company ever. Find another company. They send out apprentices that don't know what they are doing. They waste hours to run up the bill. They don't fix the problem...find a plumber that can actually fix the problem instead of charging you for not fixing the problem. Find a REAL PROFESSIONAL plumbing company. What kind of Bozos, rip off artist are these. I spoke to owner, Len, who was of no help whatsoever. Bill was finally e-mailed to me. They wanted $420 plus $42.30 for the cartridge they replaced and told me they had put in a new valve. Then they couldn't screw two screws in. Took over an hour just for the 2 screws...YIKES....go elsewhere.

Mr Plotke is rolling over in his grave. Mario has sold out and the company is no longer about the customer. Do yourself a favor and find a company that cares about the work they to your home and doesn't nickel and dime you with charges. Most importantly, do your research and find a plumber who actually fixes the problem and stands by their work.
They have lost a customer and I hope you save yourself from a headache as well.

16 years ago when I moved into The Chicken Coop my water pressure was so amazing; you could shower, do laundry, and run the dish washer all at the same time and nothing would faze it. Through the years, the pressure has slowly decreased and has gotten to the point where ""you could barely wash your hair."" I have had various handymen and a few plumbers try to work on it with no success. It's been very frustrating, believe me. So this week I called in a real plumber again and crossed my fingers... Guess what? My water pressure is screaming again! Yes, I showered while the dishwasher and laundry were being done just to test it! YeeHaw, success! It cost me a grand but I spent more than that through the years trying to get it fixed. Thank you Ed from Plotke Plumbing!

Update. Apparently my problem was 2 parts. Plotke plumbing kept working to find my problem and now we are all fixed. Besides being good plumbers and very professional I want to say that every crew I worked with and everyone I talked to in the main office including the owner was so nice and caring. That is a big thing to me!!!

Plotke plumbing has been my go to and trusted plumbers! They are prompt and communicative. Also once when I had an issue after a repair was completed they came out and serviced the repair at no additional cost. Mario, Caesar, Lynn and team are the best!

I have used Plotke for years on my L.A. Hancock Park home. Everything from a faucet, toilet repair to whole house copper re-pipe. They even did the outside sewer re-pipe. They are They are honest and used by many of homeowners in my neighborhood.

Woke up to a massive leak flooding my house, and called Plotke on a friend's recommendation. They told me they were booked for the day, but would keep an eye open in case anyone canceled. I assumed I'd never hear back, but they called less than an hour later to say they could come by ASAP. The plumber was on time, friendly, extremely attentive, and explained everything clearly. Even cleaned up after himself which, come on, almost never happens with contractors. The price was reasonable, they answered all my questions, and emailed an invoice right away. Could not have been happier to have found them, and would recommend their service again and again.
