Woke up to a massive leak flooding my house, and called Plotke on a friend's recommendation. They told me they were booked for the day, but would keep an eye open in case anyone canceled. I assumed I'd never hear back, but they called less than an hour later to say they could come by ASAP. The plumber was on time, friendly, extremely attentive, and explained everything clearly. Even cleaned up after himself which, come on, almost never happens with contractors. The price was reasonable, they answered all my questions, and emailed an invoice right away. Plotke has become my go-to plumber. I'm a hands-on landlord and like to understand what's going on with my property and the fix required. Plotke is collaborative on the work they do and doesn't give me the female treatment, which happens a lot when interacting with professional trades. The office staff is great and has stretched space and time to help me out.

Plotke has been out to handle everything from a slow-leak spigot and basic tenant hair clogs to a potentially disastrous failed toilet seal on the 3rd floor. Quick fixes, efficient handling of clean up, detail oriented and clear explanations - couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommend!

This great company has been servicing my residence for several years, I have always been impressed with the courteous people on the phone and the technicians that have performed the repairs and installations. I had a water heater installed a few years ago, very well done and no problems since. Also they repaired a gas leak that the Gas Company said was not their issue but a plumbing issue. Done! Just recently (today and 2 weeks ago) I needed them to fix a leak and then a stoppage issue. Xavier is great to deal with but anyone you 'get' to coordinate is excellent.

Great experience today with this company. I haven't written a review several years so it was that memorable. Tankless water heater was acting up and since I am paying for American Home Shield (AHS) Warranty, I called them first. The first plumber, Accent Plumbing, sent a guy that had no clue about tankless water heaters. He tinkered for a few minutes but couldn't figure anything out. Next was Bear Plumbing. Their plumber said he was very experienced with this brand and after checking it out, was very sure about the diagnosis. (1) there was a missing screen which meant deposits were getting through (2) the deposits had caused so much damage that the water heater needed to be replaced. Total cost - $2,800. Because of his statement that there was a missing screen, AHS denied the claim.

I decided to bring in my own plumber and Plotke came this morning. Within a few minutes, the plumber was pretty sure he had it solved. It was not a case of a missing screen - in fact he showed me that the screen was indeed still where it was supposed to be (several inches inside the pipe not that visible to average person) and there was no damage to the water heater. Instead, it was a water flow issue that was causing the water heater to stop running. He made some adjustments and tested it out. Working better than ever. Total cost - $99.

This is an honest, knowledgeable group so give them your business. I almost got taken for $3,000 but was saved at the last minute. Thanks Plotke!
