The Technician arrived and look at shower mixing valve. He was there for about 15 minutes after some exploring, he mentioned that he needs to go back and get the manual for the valve and return for fixing the issue. He left and didn't;t call or return and didn't answer repeated calls and messages. He also damaged the valve.

Never responded to the Home Warranty company after initial visit.
If your home warranty company assigns them to you, ask for someone else.
Don't even think about going to them otherwise.

If you read a positive review about this company or workers, dismiss it as an accident. This is a bad experience like the majority. PPS, or the owner if it is a one man show as others say here, was assigned my service by AHS warranty. The warranty company itself is a necessary evil for rental owners for emergencies, and they will do whatever they can to decline coverage possibly by hiring companies like this one. Chances are AHS chooses these vendors as they help them decline coverage and pocket clients' premiums. Anyway, the company calls me 4 days after the dispatch from AHS to take appointment and gives me a week due to busy schedule even when I said it is a sewer problem. I offered to meet technician if they call me 1/2 hour before arriving. I received the call after the technician almost is out of my vacant rental and after he already decided not to do the work. I'm doing renovations on the rental so he comes up with any excuse to avoid trying to see the problem. I ask him to go back and check the wet soil around the sewer. He reluctantly goes and verifies the wet soil but says he can't test it unless we finish the bathroom remodel and call them again. I tell him he should not leave the issue that can be unsanitary and we can do whatever he wants to test it. Then he becomes very rude and belligerent because I told him he'd be walking away from resolving a problem that could be 'unsanitary' and says because I said that he wants me to do a full soil cleanup sort of a penalty. Obviously he did his trick with AHS to decline the repair and walk away from doing his job. I honestly don't think you should call this company for service at all.

A simple plumbing job assigned by AHS about 20 days ago, still not come to fix yet. The canceled appointment just 1.5 hours before due time. Can I give them a 0 start?

Miserable ownership. Literally came into my house to tell me that the reason the toilet isn't working is because my son was missing the toilet. My 18 year old son at that. LOL. It's laughable. And on top of that, he laughed when i was explaining to him that the toilet is leaking from somewhere - even when no one is using it or we're away on vacation. I had no idea he's the owner - which makes this THAT MUCH WORSE. Horrible. Horrible horrible. Common sense says that it's something more than someone missing a toilet when it's right next to the bolts and there is no drip stains from above. None the less we called a different company to come out and look and to deal with professionally.

I did not have a good experience with this company. Like so many others here, Platinum Plumbing was assigned by my home warranty provider. Very inefficient in providing service. It has been over 2 months and simple shower leak is still not fixed even after several attempts reaching out to them. Repair person had extremely rude demeanor. Repair person arrived in Dec 2020 and stated he couldn't do the repair because he had to order a part. Advised when the part arrived he would contact me and schedule a date to return and finish the repair. No one reach out to me. I had to follow-up actively. When he shows up this week, I am told that they do not remember what fix was to be made which again the customer has to remind? Ugh...

Like so many others here, Platinum Plumbing was assigned by my home warranty provider. If you think that these consistently low ratings are the home warranty provider's fault, you would only be partially correct. The real problem is this guy, Reuben. He is extremely rude and condescending. He hates his job and you can smell his sweaty desperation over the phone. I was scheduled between 8am and 10am today, 1/27/21 but it is past noon with no follow up. Tired of waiting, I called Platinum and Reuben picked up. He told me he was in the middle of finishing up with someone and will call me back in a couple of minutes. 25 min later, I call him back and he accused me of not responding to his call when he arrived (supposedly). There is no indication on my phone that he even made an attempt, much more a re-attempt. I took the day off to deal with this issue and had my phone that whole time. I'm on the line with my insurance provider now to demand a different plumber because these guys are just unprofessional and inconsiderate of your time.
UPDATE: My home warranty company called Platinum and guess who answered? Mr. Ray of Sunshine, of course! He gives the same BS accusation that I didn't answer my phone during the one attempt he supposedly made. I told my insurance to request a screenshot from his phone to prove that he even made an attempt and I would do the same. Guess what? I am now being assigned a different company. Platinum does not deserve my business - especially right now during the pandemic when so many more deserving businesses are struggling.

NUMEROUS calls and texts have been sent to the company from me. Initially I was told they were waiting for the part. Later they simply ignored my calls and voicemails.
I've since contacted my home warranty provider to address the same problem. Can you believe they assigned Platinum Plumbing. I refused and have since been assigned someone else. They are extremely unprofessional!!

I'm am shocked with all of these bad reviews. My home warranty dispatched Ruben to change my garbage disposal. He was also dispatched for a sump pump, bathroom leak. The whole process went well. He was very pleasant knowlegable . He was very patient and responsive, despite the fact that I have os many questiona . He had to spend a lot of time to resolve some issues with the Work Order that the Home Warranty company sent to them (American Home Shield) .He had to get authorization to proceed. Ruben showed up earlier than scheduled, but he called beforehand to see if it was ok for him to come early. When he arrived, he promptly completed all the work and was kind and courteous. I was so impressed with his work that I have recommended him to all my friends to use as their personal plumber.
They have also had great experiences with his service and work. I have dealt with many repairs in my home , and he has exceeded expectations with his services and expertise.

This company was assigned to us through our home warranty company. They took forever to fix our water heater. We wanted the water heater to be raised 18inches above the ground as per the norms. We even purchased the platform for it. All they needed to do was to place the water heater on the platform instead of the floor. They charged us $180 just for that. Also the person who came to fix it, Ruben is very arrogant and difficult to deal with. Atleast he did a decent job with the actual water heater replacement. I wouldnt go with this company again.
