They saved me on the 4th! I had 30 people over lighting off fireworks and drinking beer and no bathroom. The sewer main backed and both toilets were out of commission. One of my guests recommended Platinum Plumbing and, after looking them up on Yelp, I gave them a call. They were there in about an hour, about the time my neighbors were getting annoyed with me and my guests using their bathrooms. They fixed it less than half an hour and saved my party. I can't recommend them highly enough.

If you want an HONEST plumber that isn't going to try to give you what you NEED and at the same time do what they can so they don't have to come out again, this is the company you want to call. They are quick, clean, professional, courteous and cost effective. You get for what you pay and they made me feel like every dollar with them was well spent. Platnum plumbing charged me $145 for the 75 ft snake and he snaked it twice and it still didn't work. I had to pay for it and he said that he needed to bring another machine, the water pressure machine to push the gunk out for $300+ but no guarantees. Since he snaked it twice and it didn't work, he only charged me $125. I know the plumber tried his best and he tried to be helpful and he was respectful. He knew what he was doing but paying $125 and it still didn't work made me really disappointed. I told him not to come since I found mike diamond. Mike Diamond plumbing initial fee is $99 and they will guarantee you they will clear the drain and if they don't clear it, I don't pay. That's awesome!

By the way, I was stupid enough to put gelatin in the drain. Don't do that people. Biggest mistake of my life ever! You live and you learn.

I initially gave one star because the plumber couldn't fix it and I still had to pay but now I change my mind because after my one star review, the owner Jim called me and asked about my experience. I told him the truth and he said he will not charge me $125 on my credit card since his plumber couldn't fix it. His services are just like Mike Diamond. Jim was very nice to do that for me and not charge me.

After my drain is fixed and if I'm still having problems because I put the acid burning drano in my sink he will charge me $125 or $145 to do the water pressure to clean it out so the acid wouldn't ruin or break the pipes.

So far, this experience has been a learning experience and have been a roller coaster. I really appreciate the plumber, Albert and the owner of Platinum, Jim for really helping me out. Very very good customer service. Highly recommended. It really does help to yelp.

Today is the 4th day I didn't have a working kitchen sink. The co-owner of platinum plumbing, Steve came out to help me with my clogged up gelatin sink. He snaked it and put water with it. It worked! He didn't have to put the pressure water which costs about $300+. And to put a drain out is a minimum of $700. Which would be even a bigger disaster for me. And he gave me a 60 day guarantee!

Steve saved me hundreds of dollars. I'm so very grateful for them. Hands down, the best plumbing service in California.

That you so much! Our main sewer line was backed up and it was absolutely disgusting!!! They were out to my house in less than an hour and fixed everything! Very nice and fast.

Wow, not even two weeks later I had to call again. I thought I had a slab leak and was prepared for the worst but it turned out to be my dishwasher leaking. Once again very pleased.

Called platinum plumbers to ask for home appointment to unclog shower. I was told there was a $95 minimum and if the job was simple it would be at the minimum. I was given a window but when the plumber called me he said it would be $150. I told him that was not what I was told. After going back and forth he told me to call Mike Diamond. I guess Mike Diamond will get my business.

I chose this company based on 5 star reviews. Unfortunately, I may be one of the unlucky few.
It's a very long story but I'll keep it short.
First plumber that came out, can't do the job until signs of mold is removed ; Before he leaves he rescheduled and provided an estimate of $250.00 just to look for leak and an additional fee for whatever needs to be repaired which I understand and agreed upon.
After plumbing and drains exposed and mold has been removed by another company; First plumber failed to make his appointment and a second plumber was sent. 2nd plumber notice a slight water (not dripping) at faucet valve and gave me an estimate to replace a faucet valve for $200.00 which I politely declined. But he did not give me an estimate for caulking a gap on a bathtub spout which he said the source of the leak and he charge me $100.00 after He did the job. HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR CAULKING A 3"" diameter SPOUT ....
After talking to the person in the office I still end up paying $350.00 for it. I gave them 1 star for FAILING TO DISCLOSE PLUMBER's TRAVEL FEE AND FAILING TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE BEFORE DOING THE JOB and CHARGING TOO MUCH FOR CAULKING. Should I had known that, I would have decline caulking just like i declined faucet valve replacement..

Maybe I'm the unlucky one, but would not recommend or use their service again. We called the night before spoke to Scott and scheduled for 8:30am - 9:00am the next morning. It's pass 9:00am and NO CALL and NO SCOTT. I had to call back and well again be there at 10:00am. Finally, I called back the office at 10:40am to cancel the appointment.

Time for an update. We got a call from Jim on 1/21, he sincerely sorry about what happened and asked if we would give him a second chance. So glad that we did, Scott and Dan came by yesterday around 9:00 am and had everything wrapped up right about 7:00 pm.
The work that Scott and Dan did was amazing, well executed and we can tell that these guys don't joke around when it comes to business and taking care of you, the customers.
We did truly found a plumbing company that we can trust and rely on. Once again, thank you Jim, Scott and Dan.

READ THIS FIRST!

When was the last time you could TRUST a plumber? Here's the situation - 6:00p on a Sunday before Christmas. Your entire plumbing system has backed up in your old house and things you shouldn't ever see are coming back up your showers and sinks. Your 4 year old daughter has her first severe cold with ""things"" coming out both ends every 15 minutes.

I called Platinum Plumbing and asked if they could come out. Less than 30 minutes later (remember, on a Sunday before Christmas), one of their guys showed up at the end of a 13-hour shift. The nicest, most helpful, hard-working guy you would ever meet! He went straight to work on it and after an hour and a half he ran out the entire snake and still couldn't reach the clog. I told him to throw in the towel and we would go to a hotel and start on Monday when everyone was fresh.

He would have nothing of it! He said he thought it would be best if my wife and daughter could stay in the comfort of their home. He called Jim the owner (now Sunday at 8:00p) and told him he needed some special, heavy equipment. Jim went to unlock the shop, brought the equipment to my house and they both worked on it together until 10:30p when they were finally confident they fixed my problem 100%. They then stayed another hour and cleaned up all the ""mess"" (not their problem to fix) and then scheduled an appointment to come out and install a ""clean out"" so that in the future if it happened again, it would be quick and easy!

It shouldn't be the case that integrity, hard work and helping others are so rare. Too often in all areas, we are treated like a ""number"" and never really believe someone is looking out for us.

I have now dealt with several members of Platinum Plumbing and I can confidently say that THIS COMPANY IS DIFFERENT!!! When they say that a company is a reflection of its leadership, it is true. From Jim to every member of his staff, Platinum Plumbing is a company that does exceptional work, cares about their customers and does so at a fair price!

I could not give a higher recommendation to a company and will refer them to everyone I know!!!!! Thank you Jim and your entire crew of exceptional individuals. ~The Adams family.

Jim has done work at both my office and home. His guys always show up on time and are very neat and clean and do a great job. They explain exactly what is going on and why you have to do the work that is needed. I would recommend Platinum Plumbing to anyone who needs work on gas or plumbing projects.
