Heating systems works BETTER than I remember it EVER working.

Not related to the Platinum, but a real customer in Nassau County. Never expected this kind of service! Not tried to sell me anything other than this repair at a VERY REASONABLE price.

Honest and competent.

Today is Christmas Eve and I want to write how grateful my family and I are that Pete made the time to stop over early today and solve our plumbing issues. I woke up to no running water in my bathroom and heat issues. I texted Pete and without hesitation he came at 8am. He made the time to come over and spend at least over an hour diagnosing my plumbing issues. He would not leave until my problem was solved and even unclogged my sink in between! He truly loves what he does and it shows. He's a good person and honest, that is rare these days when most people are more focused on making a buck than helping a fellow human. I will continue to use his services and recommend his business to all my friend for life. You can't go wrong with this business. I would give ten stars if I was allowed!

Stay away from this company I don't think they are licensed plumbers.

I reached out on yelp for an estimate to disconnect a water heater and furnace while I had work done in my basement and then have it reconnected when the work was done. James (who said he is one of the owners) messaged me with his phone number and asked me to call him to discuss. I called and we discussed the project. He said he would send me an estimate the next day. The next day he emailed me what I guess he thought was an estimate. It was just an email that had a brief description of the work and a price at the bottom. No name of the company, license number, or payment details. I texted James if he could send me a formal estimate with the company name and license number. I never got a response back. I texted him multiple times and called and never got a response. Also, his voicemail is full so you can't even leave a message when you call. I believe that they are not licensed and that is why they never responded back once I asked for a license number. This company is so unprofessional and I am glad I didn't get to point of having them do work in my home. I also needed my sewer pipe replaced so they lost that job as well. I would have also recommended them on my school district Facebook group because people are always asking for reliable plumbers.

I needed work done on my boiler. Immediately i knew this was the company to hire. Fast response for an estimate. Looked at every detail and explained every step of the process. Friendly and courteous. Came on time and did the job as explained. Went through every step again with me and his crew. Got everything taken care. Work was done neat and professionally. Another great experience using Platinum Plumbing. Professional, courteous, on time, and extremely thorough and capable about what they do. Had Peter come to check my furnace before I will need to use it when the seasons change, and switched out the thermostat for the furnace as well. Peter also looked at my other areas of plumbing to assess, offering and sharing valuable information. Just an overall, no nonsense, non-stressful, experience, where you feel you are in very good hands with an honest , experienced old school plumber who takes enormous pride in his work.

I believe it was Pete who responded to my call for help with water leaking from the main floor's bathroom to the finished basement, damaging the ceiling. He was punctual! () He found out the water was from the toilet, and first told me that the pipe might need to be replaced. Then he removed the toilet bowl and discovered that all he needed was a pipe sleeve which he had to go to a supply store to buy it. He came back fairly quickly (I live near Lowe's) and fixed the problem right away. I was happy that it did not turn out a big and expensive job and he was honest about it! (). When he opened the ceiling in the basement, he was very careful and took into the consideration that it will need to be repaired (once before another plumber hammered down a huge ceiling area unnecessarily which cost me so much more) (). He noted in the invoice his suggestion on the ceiling access panel and size (). Finally, he cleaned up areas in the basement and main floor bathroom. Did not look like a plumbing job was done! (). As for the price, I believe it was quite reasonable. I call him a ""good plumber"" by the old days' definition and am very happy to have found one finally!

James was right on the issue. He walked around, observing the leak and checked outside and inside, quickly figuring out the dishwasher was the culprit. Kudos to this plumber! Will be calling them out again for other repairs in the near ...

I had a substantial leak running down my wall, that started the night of a torrential rainstorm. Had all manner of pros weigh in, and many just scratched their heads. Were not listening to me when explaining the problem. Platinum listened to me, found the problem and fixed it, and charged me way less than I thought it was going to be. They were honest, informative and forthcoming with explanations on everything. They will be my go to with any plumbing needs or issues in the future. Call them you won't regret it. Levittown, NY

Let me start by saying that im not related and im not an employee of this company. Peter and James came to my house to finish a bathroom not completed by contractor. They installed a set of frameless shower doors. Installed the toilet and also a pedestal sink. They arrived at the time they said they would. They worked together as a team through the entirety of the project and there work area was neat at all times. When they were done everything worked exactly as it should. Their prices were very reasonable for the amount of work they did. But the big surprise here is the level of quality. Its nice to know that their are still tradesmen out there willing to take the extra time to make the job come out not just good but so good that it surpasses any expectations you may have had. Very happy with the service from Platinum Plumbing.

The other day we had some issues and noticed some wetness/small puddles in the basement and wanted to get the situation looked at, called a few plumbers and many were busy, some gave crazy estimates, and then we landed on Platinum.

They came over promptly the next day, earlier than we said by a bit, and came in to look at the problem.

We discussed the history of our plumbing, he surveyed the area and troubleshooted what the problem could be.

Upon inspection noticed that the air vent had clogged solid, frozen, with TP and other buildup that needed to be cleaned out, so it was a quick and easy fix.

The job cost also was a standard base rate, affordable and appropriate for the work and expertise showcased.

5 stars, highly recommend!
