I had platinum plumbing come install a new water heater today. I talked to him in the morning and was when I asked him questions he was very thorough with the answers. I was available that day and he got me on his schedule that day and installed my water heater a few hours later. When he arrived at my house he was fast, knew what he was doing and had the job done around 1 hour. I was impressed. I recommend using this company!!

We originally had Affordable Plumbing called to the house from our home warranty company. They quoted $5900 for a tankless install. We promptly laughed and looked to Yelp for local highly reviewed companies. Platinum had perfect 5 star reviews so we gave Matt a call. He came out for a home visit on Tuesday, quoted $3400, and installed it first thing Thursday morning for that price. Matt is friendly and was flexible with our schedules. I'd definitely recommend this company.

I cannot tell you the headache I probably caused for Matt. And even after it all, I'm pretty sure he undercharged me.

We had just purchased a new house, and the water heater began to drip from the relief valve; indicative that the water heater has passed it's prime. Matt quoted me $1300 for the replacement water heater and install. Easy enough. I decided to tack on the garbage disposal and kitchen facet replacement. How much does that cost, Matt? ""Those are easy enough. Let's just keep it at the $1300.""

What I failed to tell Matt was, my existing water heater was propane fueled. So, when Matt showed up with an electric one, it presented some unexpected obstacles. Long story short is, he had managed to reorganize his day around me. He installed the electric water heater he had brought for another customer, drove down into Sacramento to pick up a propane water heater for me, installed it, and was still done before the day's end.

Furthermore, during the installation, he wound up having to replace the main valve to the water heater, since it was faulty and looked overly calcified.

I asked him how much more he wanted for his troubles. ""You already paid me what you owe."" Matt didn't even bump is rate after the problems I had created.

I hope to never have another problem again (I know that's highly unlikely), but I'll be sure to call Matt back if I do.

We purchased a Rheem water heater for $800 from Home Depot and requested a install quote from one of their service providers. Their quote was minimum of $925. Since this seem much too high, we checked with plumbers through Yelp an Home Advisor. Matt from Platinum was the first to call and give me a quote of $300 over the phone. He said he could come by and to the install within the next two hours. I checked with three others that responded and they were much higher priced from $475 to $675 and could not come that day.
I called Matt back and said we will go with him. He arrived right on time and did the install within 1.5 hours and everything done per Placer County Builfing Code. Matt provided excellent friendly customer service. He also took the old tank away.
I only wish I talked to Matt first before buying the water heater from Depot Home. He could have gotten me a much better water heater - Bradford White for less cost.
Matt will be my first call for any future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend Matt from Platinum Plumbing!!

Matt was terrific to communicate with. Very efficient in communicating and returning messages. Platinum is very fair on price and provided the expertise and insight I needed in replacing my water heater.

There are several other competitors in town... don't bother. Stick with Platinum!

We received 3 bids and went with Matt at Platinum Plumbing. Stellar experience! Matt and Matt (Jr) were awesome! Patient, kept us posted every step of the way. We had blockage under our driveway, they had to jackhammer concrete to get to it, while battling rainy weather for 4 days. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, given the circumstances. Matt is the best! I would certainly call them first for plumbing services including a new water heater. They had the most courteous, prompt, and best pricing of all. I found Platinum Plumbing on Angie's list( not as a member) Matt called me immediately to my request for a water heater replacement. I called on Thursday evening and he came to my house on Friday. The water heater was installed by 2: 00pm BAM it was done! Hot water is back flowing! :) He was quick, on time, professional, honest and friendly. I have stored his phone number in my phone.
