I recently had maintenance on my whole house water system and a repair to my toilet done by Pipes Plumbing. I have used them in the past, and once again, was so very pleased with their work. Robert has been the one to perform the work on the last three occasions. He is very courteous, neat and knowledgeable. He is happy to discuss any of the steps involved and address any concerns or questions I have. It is so nice know that the work that I need done will not only be done efficiently, but by someone I know is respectful of my time, as well as my home.

I tried a do-it-yourself repair on a Sunday, bad idea! Unfortunately, I was unable to finish the project (40 year old cartridge was stuck in shower valve) and couldn't turn the water main back on. I called Pipes, Ruth called me back quickly (even on Sunday), twice actually because I had to check something and call her again. When I confirmed around noon that I would like them to come out and fix it for me, she said they would be there in 1-1.5 hours. They were early, got there before 1 o'clock. I did have to pay the higher weekend rate, of course, but he was able to remove the cartridge without having to replace the whole valve (it did take quite a bit of effort to get it out) and he finished well within the first hour. Then he fixed my showerhead as well, which he noticed was dripping. I would have been without any water for at least 24 hours if Pipes hadn't been available and so responsive. (Another company I called said sorry, you'll have to wait until tomorrow afternoon, Monday.) Ruth was great, they were timely, professional, and the shower works perfectly now. I would highly recommend them, they turned a potential nightmare into a manageable situation. They will be my first and only call for all my plumbing needs, no more do-it-yourself plumbing for me.

I am giving pipes plumbing 5 stars. They were very flexible with scheduling and arrived on time. Robert provided me with an actual explanation for why my shower head wasn't working and resolved as opposed to other people who have looked at it in the past. This and other repairs were timely and very reasonabley priced.

I would like to give Pipes Plumbing 6Stars. I discovered a leak from my kitchen ceiling and knew immediately that I was in real trouble.
I called Ruth at Pipes on the High recommendation of a friend. She had Verne out to my house within an hour. My husband was out of town and Verne was so careful to explain all the consequences of our problem. It took him about 20 minutes to find the leak and then he had me call a Restoration company that he highly recommends.
I so much appreciate the kindness of Ruth and Verne.

Woke up this morning (day of Christmas eve) to a broken pipe that flooded parts of 2 rooms. In a panic, we got on the phone. This was about 630am on a Saturday. Robert got here in a timely manner. After showing him the broken pipe, he fixed it in 10 minutes. I could not be any happier.

I had a leak in an upstairs bathroom. Had a Yelp rated plumber come out, who cut up the drywall and found the leak. He gave me a quote of about $250, but refused to warranty the work. If I wanted a warranty, I had to agree to just under $1400 worth of work. I told him to just put everything back the way it was, so my tenants could use the bathroom normally. I came home a day later to a downstairs drenched from new leaks the other company caused.

Furious, I called Pipes on the recommendation of a friend. Talked to Ruth, who dispatched Robert. He took the time to explain everything to me, give me a quote on the leak repair, and then followed up with a checkout of my plumbing system. My house has high blood pressure, but it can be fixed by replacing the pressure regulator which because of hard water has probably failed. At least I understood the cost, and it came in much lower than my first quote.

Ask Ruth about the free service! I did, and she told me as long as I pay all of their company's bills and payroll, I get free service! What a deal!

All kidding aside, a great group to work with, competent, honest, expert, and fun. If you have to spend the money, do it here.

The lady that I spoke to at Pipes never told me there was a minimum charge. They just quoted me an hourly rate. When they finished in 10 minutes they surprised me with a large bill. Needless to say, I would never use them or recommend them to anyone.

I usually use another company, however pipes was highly recommended so I gave them a call. My appointment was between 1-1:30, I received a call about 12:30 that someone was coming by in a half hour so I waited and waited. I noticed a pipes plumbing van parked in front of the garage next door to me, hmmm. So now I've been waiting 2 hours and decided to call. I was told that there was a mistake and that the plumber went next door to me and thought they were the customer. Really? And performed some type of work! You would think that ""A"" the plumber would ask ""by name"" if he had the right customer ""B"" the ""customer"" would've said they didn't call a plumber. There was absolutely no verification on anyone's part! Meanwhile I had to take 2 hours off of work that I'll never get back! How does this even happen? I'm glad they weren't doctors they would've operated on the wrong person! If they're making that type of ridiculous mistake what does that say about their work?

Robert was the man! He showed up on time, gave me recommendations with alternative cost effective paths and worked his tail off. So sick of flakey contractors, but not this company! Looks like Vern and Ruth runs a tight ship! I'm using them from now on!

6/13/15 PIPES PLUMBING was great to work with when we had a major remodel of our home in 2011. We recently discovered a water leak under our house, called Pipes, and Robert, who worked with us before, came and took care of it. The problem was an old capped off pipe which was taken care of quickly and efficiently. What Plumber comes to your home, crawls under the house (ick), fixes the leak and charges $108? Also, Robert is always so pleasant.
