Pipe Doctor 247 has the worst pipe service. I will not recommend this to anybody. My home warranty sent them twice to fix my exterior garden hose connecting the water pipe. Both times, they just kept changing the gasket and told me it would leak after I used it a few times.

My garbage disposal stop working, so I requested service through First American Home Warranty, and they assigned the job to PipeDoctor 247. I immediately checked Yelp for reviews on this company and was quite worried after seeing the low ratings. With a sense of unease, I waited for their technician to arrive. However, my experience turned out to be quite different from the reviews--it was excellent. Blair arrived punctually within the scheduled time window, and I actually received a text when he was on his way, so I had a good estimate of his arrival time. He brought his own shoe covers and put them on before entering my home. After inspecting my garbage disposal, he just replaced it with a new one. There was no hassle or back-and-forth; everything went smoothly, and the replacement was done in under an hour. Besides the $85 service fee I initially paid to my warranty company, I didn't have to pay anything extra out of pocket. Overall, I'd like to reassure those reading reviews here: if your warranty assigns PipeDoctor 247 to you, don't worry too much. At least, my experience was great.

Pipe Doctor showed up within the window I was given. They text me about a half hour ahead of time, so I could drive home and meet them. Van was my service tech. We had a brief discussion and he made a plan of action and together the problem was solved in less than an hour!

My warranty company sent this to fix shower leaking issue. I was remodeling house flooring and painting etc. and the guy told the warranty company that house is under construction. He wanted to charge 1400$ for changing shower valve - others are doing that in 400$. They just didn't want to do the work. Not worth the hassle. Save your time and money and find someone better.

Requested service through home warranty to change pressure regulator valve, they charged me 1025$ out of pocket, and 475$ of it is for this digging. I asked how they decided on this price is it hourly rate or depth? They said standard fee, okay but i would really really appreciate if you could tell me i asi could do it myself so i could save some!

Other than that plumber guy was very nice, very professional, communicative.

So it wasn't the pilot assy. I replaced the control module and gas valve which was around 200 in parts. Took me about 1.5hr, due to a slow to drain tank.

Overall was able to save about 2500-3000 by not using this company'. Avoid avoid avoid
