We heartily recommend Pipe Arts Plumbing. Edgar recently installed a tankless hot water heater for us, He and his crew did a great job, finished in one day and left our house cleaner than it was when they arrived.

Pipe Arts for life!
Edgar is punctual, a true professional, quick, and worth every penny. Other professionals who have worked in our house have commented on how skillfully his work was done.
Let me explain:
We had a tough job which required running new pipes in a small space. I would imagine other plumbers not even wanting to deal with it, but he did. He installed a sink, a wall hung toilet tank, and bowl, and made sure all of them worked. Part of the job required him to build a copper drain pipe (from the toilet tank to the bowl) on sight, and so I decided to try and match my sink faucet to the pipe. Even though my faucet looks totally out of place (no one ever told me ""oil rubbed bronze"" is code for black metal!) Edgar took the time to try and match all of the valves, even the p trap! He didn't have the trap in his truck, so he installed a chrome one, so we could excitedly use our new sink, and then searched on line to fine a bronze looking one. Once the new trap arrived, he came and installed it. That's attention to detail!

Wow! I am so impressed and would recommend this company in a heartbeat. I thought I had a drainage problem that turned out to be an appliance issue and not a plumbing issue, but Edgar took the time to make sure nothing was wrong and then didn't even charge me!! Not to mention I priced estimates against other highly-ranked places on Yelp and his estimate was the lowest. I will gladly call back next time I have an (actual) plumbing problem.

I had met edgar a while back, so it was great when i needed my carbage disposal replaced. i think it was the one that came with da house. edgar laughed and said, yep they don't make these anymo. twohamsters could have done a better job. true dat true dat!!. he is truely a pro's pro. when it comes too plumbing. oh did i say i live n hayward.. thanks edgar. his prices are what they are, fair. u can't ask 4 mo dan dat.

Edgar is just great. I called to have him put in a new water shut off valve to our home. Considering that I was told by others that my planter bed would have to be knocked down to access it and put in a new one, Edgar - dismissed that theory in seconds, did a great job, is very friendly and seems like a good guy too. In just over one hour the job was complete. He is number one plumber on my list now.

UPDATE
We just had Edgar do another tough job for us: he installed a tankless hot water heater.
As usual, the work was impeccable -- now I know why he calls his business ""Pipe Arts,"" as he truly makes plumbing an art form.
Edgar came up with creative solutions that made this job cost HALF of what a competing plumber quoted us and spared us the hassle of running a new gas line, digging up the driveway, and lots of other messy stuff. Moreover, before he did the work, we sent him a host of emails with lots and lots of questions. Edgar wrote back to us quickly (we heart contractors who use email so frickin' much), offering thorough answers to our many questions.
As a plus, Edgar really knows the world of tankless water heaters. He knew about different models and was able to make recommendations based on our usage and where it was going to be placed. Just took the ""maiden voyage"" shower and it was plenty hot with nice strong water pressure.
Edgar is honest, trustworthy, and reliable -- traits that aren't always easy to find in a contractor. We consider ourselves lucky and are happy to recommend him to family, friends, and the yelp community.

Edgar did a wonderful job on a fairly complicated job in our home. He did all the plumbing to relocate the washer/dryer from our tiny kitchen to an upstairs closet. He was reliable, neat, and professional.
Edgar is as meticulous as the other reviewers noted. He definitely knows what he is doing in the world of plumbing. Without blue prints (or x-ray) vision to tell him precisely where pipes and drain lines were, his intuition was excellent. And when he encountered unexpected obstacles, he worked around them without a problem. Moreover, he left our place cleaner than he found it!
Edgar is also very professional. This was an expensive endeavor for us, and as such, we shopped around quite a bit for plumbers. Edgar came out two separate times to talk through various options that we were considering in terms of where to put the washer/dryer. In the end, we stuck with our original plan, but we definitely appreciated Edgar not griping about coming out twice to give us estimates.

I called after normal buisness hours and received a call back a short time later. Scheduled a next day appointment. Quick and professional service with a very upfront and honest assessment of the problem. Also, they were really nice to my cat. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

Edgar and his crew are fabulous. We had a leak bust out between the meter and our house and they came out to fix it in a jiffy. I really appreciated not only the quality of their work but that they took extra measures to make the house access safe and tidy while the work was in progress (open trenches). Edgar's very kind and an all-around nice person to work with. It feels great to know we have someone reliable, highly skilled and trustworthy to have on hand for the next plumbing incident.

Edgar Amaya of Pipe Arts repaired some leaks and replaced some seriously defunct pipes in our 1920's-era building-- including replacing a chunk of sidewalk. We've been singing his praises from start to finish. We found him to be responsive, conscientious, professional, and pleasant to work with.
We particularly appreciated that:
* When he first viewed the job to make an estimate, he clearly specified for us those areas that required immediate attention and those that are in adequate working condition.
* On the day of the job, he and his assistant arrived precisely on time, with the needed City permit in hand.
* They worked quickly and neatly. Cleanup was impeccable.
* Mr. Amaya fully explained everything that we needed to know about the job.
And in addition to all that, we considered his fee to be very reasonable.

Edgar was able to come out the same day I called him, and quickly fixed some problems with my bathroom sink. He was courteous and on time. I would call him again next time I have plumbing problems.
