I had some maintenance and upgrading of my HVAC system done by Peter Levi this week. The HVAC technician, Niko Formosa did a terrific job. He explained the steps involved thoroughly and was quick and efficient in doing the work. He addressed my concerns and was able to troubleshoot something with my system that has been bugging me for a while. He was mindful of the time constraint I had and was able to complete all of the work well within my schedule. My HVAC contributes to the comfort of my home so I feel the money is well spent to keep it maintained and current. Thanks again to Nico for his expertise and diligence.

Peter Levy is astronomically expensive compared to two other plumbers, I found out after I had others bid my job that Peter Levy did for us (my very big mistake, it was an emergency and I went with them, big mistake). Also, they put in an exterior pipe that was not to code, we were told by two other plumbers, it wa wrong. I did have Peter Levy come back out to replace it, which they did but considering what we paid them, they are the professionals, they should know what pipes are code??? They also made some other mistakes that a new plumber had to correct for us. I found out that the sewer pump they installed, they did not get a permit, which they should have. When I asked for a copy of it, they kept putting me off. I hoe that they do not do tis to anyone else. Get your bids from other local companies.

I had a great experience with this company today. We had some sewage issues. Googled plumbing, called Peter Levi Plumbing and they had someone out within a few hours. The customer service was exceptional. Although they have a 6 hr time window they were able to tell me where I was in the que to give me a better sense of when they would be here. Kellen, came out to help us. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.

After my experience with Peter Levi Plumbing, I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Peter Levi was hired in September 2023 to bring a Water Heater up to code at our San Francisco property which should have taken 2 weeks total, including the inspection.

The SF Plumbing inspector had to come out 6 times over 6 months (yes, the job took 6 months!) before we finally passed inspection and the original estimate increased by almost 70% (i.e., from $4688 to $7927) because Peter Levi failed to accurately bid the project correctly from the outset.

This job imposed way more customer stress and attention than it should have and a large part of it was due to Peter Levi's lack of professionalism, communication and project management skills. When you call into Peter Levi you get polite customer service but that's where the positive part ends. You don't get assigned a project team with a lead you can call directly, you have to call into the main number and speak with polite customer service people, but it's like your calling in for the first time, every time.

I view this job as a massively failed customer engagement that should have been given special attention after the first failed inspection where Peter Levi didn't even bother to show up for the first of what would become six inspections at the annoyance and frustration of the SF Plumbing Inspector.

I repeatedly reached out and requested a conference with Peter Levi who I am not sure even exists because I never received the courtesy of a single response from Mr Levi and eventually surmised that he either doesn't exist or doesn't care.

I have worked with many, many plumbing companies over the years and this is by far my worst experience. There are so many great Plumbing companies out there who take pride in their workmanship and go out of their way to make their customers happy. Why would you enlist a company that's going to add stress to your life?
