After 20 yrs, my Rinnai tankless was making a screeching sound. A bearing in a blower or pump finally wore out. I was in need of a replacement tankless water heater ASAP before the bearing froze and . . . . no more hot water.
I t was easy to make an appointment to investigate and make a proposal. I was pleased with P L from a heat pump system installation they performed a year earlier. I decided to employ their services again. Stay with a company that gave great service in the past. By Monday they were ready to install a new tankless.
Wow. . tankless has come a long way. Practically instant hot water two floors up. What a beautiful installation. Alex and I'm sorry I forgot his name, showed up at 9AM and polished off the job that afternoon. They are organized and aim to please. The gas & water works is plumbed and square and the gas, power and copper plumbing is a sight to behold. I'm fussy and these two plumbers really made my day. They were friendly, polite and answered questions, provided manuals. They live up to their word. Their truck was well stocked with everything required to make a great ""sano"" installation. Absolute Experts! Thanks Alex and - - - and Peter Levi.

Re: Tankless water heater. I had our tankless water heater maintained as part of Peter Levi's Club Program. Ryan Caro came to our home and flushed the old water out, added clean water as part of the cleaning process, and did the annual maintenance. He was very thorough and pleasant, wore a mask and foot covers, and did a fantastic job. I like being part of the company's service club which reminds us every year when it is time to get our appliances checked out for any needed routine service. I especially enjoy mentioning technicians who are worth mentioning for their outstanding work.

Annual inspection/maintenance. Verdict: needs new ductwork, insulation, AC unit, plus this, that, and the other, for ... $32,000!! After I was resuscitated, I later got a second opinion. New filter only, all else is good. Bill: $545. Credibility: blown.

the company was offering a special on Tun-up. The receptionist gave me an appointment right away and the technician was running behind she called me twice to let me know how long was going to take when the tech left the job on his way to my house. they called again. he technician Nikko was on time. he was great. very polite and Clean he worked very hard on my A/C Unit. I was very happy. I will definitely use the company again if I have any problem. great service.

We have a water leak in the crawl space (we could actually hear the water flowing under the house) and we called Peter Levi right away. Johnny came out within a few hours and he was able to find the leak and fix it on the same day. Johnny was super friendly and professional, and gave very good suggestions on how to check for leak. We are very impressed by his work and his professionalism.

Prior to this, we used Peter Levi a couple times already and every time, everything went really well. A couple of guys prior to Johnny had some sale pitch to try to get us to do more work. We didn't like it much but understand that it can happen. By far, Johnny is our favorite technician.

We highly recommend Peter Levi if you need help with HVAC or plumbing! They also have memberships that offer discounts which is great!

On one of the hottest days of the summer, one of our air conditioners stopped working. I called Peter Levi Plumbing Heating & Cooling for help. The technician, Joaquin Ortiz, came out quickly and diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor. He informed me that both the capacitor and the contactor needed replacement. When I inquired about the cost of a new capacitor, I was shocked when he quoted $700 for the Turbo part plus installation, with a ""cheaper"" alternative priced at $350.

Having a background in electronics, I was curious about the actual cost and did some research. To my surprise, I found the exact capacitor on Amazon for $21.90, and even the Turbo model was only $69.00. I purchased the part myself and was able to install it in less than thirty minutes.

I'm left questioning why Peter Levi Plumbing Heating & Cooling feels justified in overcharging customers with such blatant disregard for honest service. It's disappointing to see such a huge markup on parts, and I can't help but feel taken advantage of. I paid the initial service fee, but I won't be calling them again. If you have some technical know-how, you're better off handling these repairs yourself rather than paying exorbitant prices. BTW the contactor was not in need of replacement.

I had a leak in my radiant heating system at my home. the system is less than 10 years old and has routine maintenance performed on it by Peter Levi. One of the supply lines feeding the system with water had been leaking and needed to be addressed. I called for a service request and asked for the same plumber has been servicing the system for a couple of years and was informed he was no longer working at Peter Levi; they dispatched a new plumber. The plumber they sent kept telling me about how much he knows about the system while he was investigating the system and demonstrated a lack of knowledge. i get it, you want me to feel covered but it was obvious I wasn't. I asked him to quote the leak repair and he informed me he would and didn't want to fix the leak at that time although it was an active leak. When the quote came in, it was for a new system. Never did he mention anything about a new system. When I called him to talk about it he said it was probably time to change it out. It was for $25,000+. I asked what about the quote to fix the leak, he never gave an answer nor quote. I called another contractor, reputable, licensed, bonded, insured. Within (3) days it was quoted, leak repaired, and system maintenance performed with a warranty.

Peter Levi - I am a contractor, too. I understand the games to be played and money to be made. You're only as good as your last project. Prior to hiring, I'd recommend your plumbers, acting as Independant business owners, are trained in your kind and likeness AND tested to make sure they fit your branding strategy. It was a fail but I hope this helps improve the business.

Had a couple of toilet issues they came out to service today. Technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. They diagnosed and addressed the problems quickly and gave options for how to fix and what course of action to take.
