Truly, extraordinarily, bad at communicating, and they failed the permit inspection. We had a water heater replaced on Jan 10th. They either don't contact the person they're supposed to, or they don't contact anyone and just show up. They didn't do the work I had requested and I had to take a day off work and drive an hour to have the work completed, but the person they sent didn't know what he was supposed to do and didn't have the tools or parts to do it. They took weeks to schedule the inspection and then failed it. They were supposed to come back this week and fix it, but I just got off the phone with someone who wanted to know if ""the contractor"" had fixed it and when they should schedule the final inspection. I don't think they communicate with each other either. Almost a month later and we're still waiting for the work to be completed. But they're very, very good at sending out bills. I must have a dozen at least. Not paying until the work passes inspection.

I recently called Peter Levi Plumbing to fix my shower and toilet. Diego Ramos was assigned to the job. Diego's professionalism and work far exceeded my expectation. Diego was courteous, honest, neat, informative, and industrious. he ended up recommending and fixing my shower fixtures, replaced a toilet while recommending the right model (and cost effective choice), and ultimately replaced my hot water heater. All in the same day, and again, in a very professional way.
Rarely am I happy to pay out significant money for home repairs, but in this case, I feel that it was very much worth it , and it's due to Diego's work ethic. I would and will seek his work for any future needs. Tom S Mill Valley

Peter Levi, always has great customer service. The technicians are always very professional and friendly. They are not cheap but you know what they say, you get what you pay for. We are very happy with the heat pump they installed and the maintenance plan we signed up for. They actually call us to let us know it's time for them to come out and check things, and everything has looked good, no up-selling, which I appreciate.

I don't have enough information to make an informed review yet. I was informed I will need a whole new heating system and since my air conditioning is tied to the system that will need to be replaced as well. The technician did a good job explaining why so I'm not totally in shock. Francisco was very professional. The only negatives so far were about the 4 people who called me to say they wanted to come earlier than I requested. 2 people called me before 8:30 am to tell me that. I was about ready to cancel the appt. I spoke with 4 people before they even came out. Not good customer service but I think they thought they were doing something good for me. They need to look at their business practices. I.e. don't call before 9:00am.
