I contacted Peter Lai Plumbing because my washing machine was leaking and two sinks were clogged. Andy was quick to respond after contacting him and he came out soon after. He was very professional and polite. I especially appreciate how he wore booties over his shoes before entering the house. Great job and would use him again.

Peter Lai Plumbing company is awesome!!! I called them and within 20 minutes or so they were at my house. I called them to fix a clogged toilet and shower. It took some time to get it fixed and I am so thankful that Andy didn't give up on us. Thanks Andy you rock!!!

This review is for Andy Lai. Really appreciate the professional and Quick service he performed for our clogged kitchen sink. He also took time to explain to us what was happening (our sink was just the usual clogging from years of use). Total time took about 1 hour and his rate is very reasonable, with problem-fix guarantee and 1 month warranty. He also does commercial plumbing fyi. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Andy, my original review wasn't very long. Even in reply you are confused. What does Alhambra have to do with anything? My house is in East LA. You are in El Monte. I didn't search in your area, I searched in mine. Yelp is showing your business to people in areas you don't want to go to. That is something you should probably have Yelp fix.

On another note, I have had service workers from Culver City, the Valley and Orange County. I don't see why my house would be any different from a house in your neighborhood. East Los Angeles is governed by Los Angeles County, where you must hold a license anyways since its your county too. Your choosiness has a rotten smell of discrimination to it. And I think it wreaks.

Way to go shaming that Yelper for not having money. Using someone's financial vulnerability to get back at them for a bad review, worse than poor tact, worse than poor self control, what a neanderthal thing to do. Glaring reveal of you and the business you work for. Your company has many clients that rate it highly, so eff the poor am I right? Off with their heads.

East LA is 18 minutes away. It takes 18 minutes to have a jog. And opposite direction of what? Utah? My bungalow is in the direction of, you know like Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Hollywood, Beverly Hills instead of you know, your direction towards Utah, Upland, Redlands.

The reason you are giving for choosing to ignore my neighborhood is a lie. It isn't too far. I think the real reason is that East LA is majority hispanic, working class, lower income and that is why you do not come here even though it is 19 minutes away. You think some money is more worthy than other money. Its called redlining.

Andy was really responsive and extremely helpful in explaining the problem with our bath tub faucet leak. He diagnosed the problem and made the repair really quickly. I highly recommend this company's plumbing services if you need any repairs.

After reviewing the yelp reviews, I decided to try Peter Lai plumbing because they were local to us. I was having some back up
problems with the mainline and Andy from Peter Lai plumbing came out promptly the first day I called. Well he checked out the mainline and it appeared to have cleared on it's own. But I noticed there was some leakage around the base of one of our toilets, so we scheduled for him to come back and fix that issue along with doing a visual check with a camera to the mainline.
On his second visit he found that there was backup of water in the mainline. He showed me the problem with the camera viewing and then after clearing the roots, the drainage problem was cleared. He also showed me that there was a crack in our pipe going out from the clean out to the street and that is probably why there was so much roots in that part of the pipe. His suggestion was to periodically rotor blade it to keep it clear as oppose to the more expensive option of replacing the pipe or inner lining the pipe.
I am happy with their service because of their promptness, honesty and also explaining what he was doing and why. I will definitely use them for my future plumbing service

Andy was a great help! Started off with a small leak and had him finish other plumbing tasks including clearing drain lines and replacing multiple faucets. I DEFINITELY would use his services again! Jobs were done clean and he even puts on booties without having to ask. He also accepts Venmo!

Great service! I had an emergency and called him, he replied my call in 20 minutes. He came to my house and quickly found the leakage. What a big relief! I called another plumber, he was not that friendly at all, I am happy that I found Peter's service. Highly recommended!

Our floors and walls were all soaked near the water heater tank in the garage and my parents didn't know what happened. I called Andy over at Peter Lai Plumbing and I'm glad I did! He came over within 25 minutes and looked at the problem. He was VERY honest and so helpful. Stated we just need to change the hose and everything else is fine. Thanks for being honest Andy!
