Web site says they have 24 hour emergency service. When I called they said they only answer the phone and schedule appointments for the next business day. They installed my new system for $10,000 and said they had 24 hour emergency service. I guess they lied.

My ac stopped working so I called Performance air in the morning and they advised they could get a tech to me that day, I received a call from a tech in the afternoon and he advised he would be there within 45 minutes and he arrived on time. He took a look at my system and showed me some photos, (side note, my ac started working again right before he arrived) the breakdown was Heat transfer rejuvenation $390.00 Replace secondary motor for compressor $390.00 replace secondary motor starter for evap fan...you guessed it $390.00 Clean coil and add R-22 freon ....yep another $390.00 My total was $1560.00 but if he would waive the fee if I joined the comfort club, which would bring the total down to $1328.00. He suggested it was time to speak with a """"comfort advisor"""" about a more efficient system. I declined his repairs and was charged $124.00. I called another ac repair tech who is a friend of a friend, he cleaned the coil and added freon and chargd me $165.00, and my ac is working great, The tech from Performance air mentioned the Lord a few times and told me he would pray for me that I would get some cool air, which I find unprofessional when people throw religion at you in a business setting, but I guess his prayers worked, I did get cool air, and saved thousand by not using Performance ac electrical and plumbing.

I am absolutely not surprised at all by the number of negative reviews regarding this company's honesty, integrity and customer service. If I had known their true colors prior to our contracting with them to install a new AC unit in our home, I would not be inclined to echo disappointment at this point. After 2 and 1/2 years, we made a call with a small request to troubleshoot a thermostat anomaly where the representative convinced us we needed a technician to do a thorough check up at a price double the offers we had seen advertised recently. Why did we believe their slick tale about how they check at least """"double"""" the functions? When our new neighbor noted their company truck at our home, he consulted with the tech and scheduled a new install at his home. Why did we believe the tech's promise of a $50 finders' fee as it was obvious where this new business came from? After several attempts at reminding the company of their promise, receiving messages saying they would get the check out ASAP, I resigned to acknowledging there was never any intent to fulfill their promise of a finders' fee. Huge lack of any customer service appears to be their MO sadly...........

We had a plumbing expectation today and I expected that the exception would find something that I would have to purchase. It was not true, the exception was conducted by an experienced plumber that explained what he was looking for and found nothing wrong with my plumbing system. This is an excellent and honest company. The inspector made adjustments and corrected problems as needed without additional charges.

I'm really glad I found this company! I followed the reviews after going through several bad air and electrical companies. We always have a project or two going with renovations. I can't say enough good things. They are thorough, knowledgeable, and their pricing is competitive. We had James come for a second time to finish another project at our condo. He is professional, courteous and explains exactly what he is doing. Justin came to fix our backed up air handler drains at our other property and after calling four other companies over a one year period, that all told us we had condensation issues... Justin found two drain lines that our contractor had cut through and covered up. If only I had called them sooner!!! You won't regret using this company.

After paying for their membership fee, I've had this company at my house quite a few times for the same thing. They were not fixing the problem. They were just putting a bandaid on it. I had another company fix it the right way and then I had no problems. When I called the company to notify them about the short cuts that were being made to my system, the manager states, """"I'm sure they were just trying to help you out."""" No. A company should not support shady work. I've canceled my membership and would never recommend this sketchy business. Stay away!

All the reviews are for AC but mine is for PLUMBING. They tock over the plumbing company I had used in the past. I requested them to fix a clog in the line from the bathtub. They sent two guys; they quoted me a price of $245. I told him the other company only charged me $120; they said higher price because of the camera. They snaked the line using a camera, at least that's what they told me. Afterwards, they showed me pictures (of my cast iron line from the house); told me roots and corrosion was he cause of the problem. It would happen again unless it was either fixed at the blockage area ($3,000) or replace the whole line from the house to the city connection ($6,000). He also offered me a service contract, free the first year and I was able to use it immediately. I told him I would have to figure out how I could pay for it and contact him. A day or two later I got a call from a girl wanting to know when they could come out to check the inside plumbing and do a water hearer flush as part of the service contract/agreement. I was in the middle of something and asked if she could call me back on Monday and we would schedule a date. Ha Ha, I never heard back from anyone. I also found a electric extension cord the two service guys left the day that fixed the clog (using a camera ?). I called the office, asked that they let the guys know the ext. cord would be on the front porch. A couple weeks later I called again and requested a copy of a couple pictures of the pipe clog they had taken and shown to me. They never came for the ext. cord and no pictures. Two more weeks went by so I called the service guy, Jeremy, on his cell phone. I told him his ext. cord was here and on the porch. He chuckled and said he was in the area and would stop by shortly and get it. I also asked him if he would send me a couple pictures that he took so I could show my daughter; she couldn't understand how the clog was happening (according to Jeremy's description). He said he would send them and repeated my email address to me. Its now been almost 5 weeks since their initial visit. I have not seen anyone nor have I received any photos. Was there really a camera, were the photos really of my pipes, is the pipe as bad as he said? I would never have them do any work at my home; not air conditioning, not plumbing. They are very unreliable or maybe not even telling me or other customers the truth. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. My recommendation is to READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE YOU HIRE THEM OR ANY LARGE COMPANY. This company does business in many states so we are just a drop in the bucket for them.

unbelievably overpriced! Same job, licensed & permitted, replace water supply line from meter to house, approx 30 ft of pipe, Plumber I used, $1489. Quoted $6256 from Performance....unreal...

Scammers! Scammers! Scammers! This is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with! I paid $2300 for Performance to get my system up and running then 6 weeks later the system failed and Performance said it failed due to bad duct work. Wouldn't you think they would of checked the duct work first seeing that I had a service plan that covered duct work! They wanted to charge us another $1400 for more repairs or $7500 for a new system. The owner Terry should be ashamed of himself. I got 2 other quotes for $350 to fix the problem or a new system for much less. New system is up and running by a reliable and honest company.

This company did not provide the service they said they were going to do. They are overpriced and dishonest. I DO NOT recommend using them.
