What can I say, if I had read the reviews, I would have asked my home warranty company to pass. This is by far the worst place ever. My insurance said they would pay for the new hot water heater, (approximately 450) plus $200 for the install. Now, this is where performance electrical gets you! New vales, hoses, knobs, lines. All to the tune of over 850 bucks! Yep! Highway robbery. That did not cost that much. Had I not been in the process of selling my home, I would have used a friend to install.
This wasn't the first time. The first time they came out they just drained the tank and told me not to turn the heat up to high. They knew the heater was bad then. This time, I waited over two weeks with no hot water for my children.
Before that, I had a leak from the master bath under the shower. That part took over three and half weeks to fix. Especially since they were supposed to be able to work with manufactured homes and all.
The office assistant even said they charged too much and would refund about 137 bucks. Instead, Bob, the owner, called me to justify the amount. Whatever Bob!
And, after the new install, the gentleman who installed it turned the water on to the roof water cooler which was not even attached and the water ran all night. It didn't cost much in the end with the water running down my awning, but good business would dictate you live up to word and pay back the $137 you overcharged. They are a rip off. Don't use them.

Beyond unprofessional!!! I have had three open tickets with them through my home warranty and they continually no show and cancel. Today's reason was ""the tech didn't want to drive that far"" I'm having serious electrical issues in an 80 year old house with preemie twins and they could care less.

My initial appointment was 10 days away from the appointment . Then 25 days for ordering a replacement. Another 10 days wait for appointment. So be prepared. Work is not done up to codes and their admin team do not care their yelp reviews I guess. They got tons of job from home warranty companies.

This is the worst company I have ever worked with. I got them through the First American Home Warranty and I have read some of the poor reviews but I have to give my review as I can understand the experience these other reviewers have had.
My original claim was put in 10/2018. It is 2/18/2019 and my issue still has not been resolved. I have been very patient and have given them the benefit of the doubt. No more. I just called the warranty company to send me another contractor.
My Instant water heater needed replacement. They came and installed a wrong unit. It has taken them 4 months to finally get the correct part and was scheduled to come out 2/18/2019 and reinstall the unit. I asked when it was getting scheduled ""Its a holiday, are you sure?"". Bob responded, yea, we are working through the holiday. When I called him today and asked its past noon, you gave me 9 to noon, he said, we aren't working its a holiday. Are you kidding me? Than, he had the nerve to say next week is the best he can do. After 4 months of being patient, next week? I am done with these guys. Stay away from them. Horrible service, their technicians are inept to complete the job.

This company was assigned to me by American Home Shield. They did not call during the 24 to 48 period so I called them they had the request and said it would be 2 weeks out. When the time came they cancelled for another week. They did not show up when I called they said it would be 8 more days . Called AHS and had it reassigned to another vender. This is the most unreliable company. I passed that info to""Bob"" and he rudely told me he didn't need to come out AHS did not pay enough! So much for customer service. -000 would be my rating

Horrible company. I would never use them again. They were assigned for a home warranty and didn't show up then they wanted to reschedule for 10 days out

Performance Electric was used to install a water heater. They installed the wrong water heater, installed it incorrectly, and refused to take my calls or respond to my calls and just out right gave me the run around. I had to hire another company to replace and complete the work done by Performance electric. They will not refund my money or take back the water heater they installed. Please beware of this company. I do not recommend them for any plumbing services.

I hate to pile on to the terrible reviews here, but I want to warn future plumbing customers to be aware:
1. they don't call back when they say they will.
2. they don't communicate well
3. their follow up on questions is VERRY slow
4. I had to initiate all communication with them.
I was a First American Home Warranty customer, and had great experience with them up until this plumbing issue. Because of this experience, I hesitate to recommend First American to anyone else. I certainly won't be using them again.
My water heater (its a hydronic water heater, pretty special) needed to be replaced, and Performance ordered a replacement. It took a few days for them to get it in, and when they put me on the schedule to get it installed, I had to wait 10 days. Ok, I can wait.
The plumber shows up at my place, opens the box and discovers that THEY GOT THE WRONG WATER HEATER. It sat in their warehouse for 10 days and nobody bothered to check if they got the right item. (this can't be the first time this has happened, right? Open your packages when you get them, make sure what's inside the box matches the PO. It's not that hard!)
They ordered a replacement, and I had to wait another 6 days to have them install the correct one this time.
In all, it was almost a month between opening my claim with First American and getting the water heater installed. That is way too long.

This company is a fraud, sent to me as a plumber but clearly had no idea. If you are unlucky to use First American Home Warranty I recommend you refuse to use this contractor.
First American Home Warranty sent this ""Plumber"" to my house, the technician arrived and did not make any attempt to fix my issue.
Saw backed up pipes and guessed that roots were growing into pipes and couldn't help, his advice, ""hire a plumber"" absolutely no attempt to fix the issue. A ""plumber"" was gored 2 days later and found a simple blockage that needed to be cleared.

First American Home warranty assigned Performance Electrical to work on an electrical issue at my rental property. I was assured Performance Electrical would contact me within 48 hours. Five days later I called the warranty company and was advised they had reached out to Performance Electrical and were told they would contact me on Friday, five days after the initial contact. I was then told they would not be able to make it out to the rental property for an additional two weeks. I asked why it took five days to contact me instead of the stated 48 hours they were supposed to contact me? and was provided no answer. I then asked if there was any way of expediting the appointment instead of waiting the two weeks? I was then abruptly told do you want the appointment or not!!! To which I replied no thanks. I do not understand why First American contracts with substandard companies, who lack professionalism and obviously aren't organized and can't handle the workload. If your considering using this company, do yourself a favor and seek a professional company that can handle the workload as well as takes prid in customer service.
