WORST COMPANY TO WORK WITH.
Same as many customers mentioned here, they don't care about the customer at all. Beware, when they get assigned through insurance company, they will be taking the job quickly and happily collecting the service fee, after that they will put the customer under so much pain by dragging and coming up with excuses for not doing the work. you will hear some excuse every time you call them.

I generally dont write reviews and I wish I had seen all the negative reviews before hand. I want people like me to not get stuck with them [and warranty] thinking you could save some money.
They are the worst company I have ever encountered. They really drag things out, they dont care about the customer, I was assigned this company twice by the warranty and both the times they were a real pain. they give you appointments after a week atleast to come checkout the issue, they dont do clear diagnosis and give highly inflated costs. Meanwhile you have to keep calling them to follow up. They try to push everything on the warranty which most of the times is not true.
case1 : The water heater was leaking, warranty sent them, they sent a quote of 2500 and charged me 1000$ saying bringing it up to code and charged home warranty 1200$. They take 3 weeks and then they changed 2 flex pipes with a different material of flex pipes, thats it. they charged 1000$ for it. later i called another plumber to check how much he would charge to do the same and he quoted 1100 including the same water heater. All the waiting i had to do and effort to clean the leaking water for 3 weeks was literally waste of time.
case 2: There was a leak in the crawl space, i went in to see and took couple of pictures. The technician comes i show him the pic, he just took a photo of it on my phone and said he will send it to warranty. after a week warranty asks to pin point the leak and they had to come down to the house again which they gave an appointment 10 days[all this while they know there is continuous water leak]. They come again open up the wall took some picturea and said he would fix the leak right now for 500$ if i pay him out of the pocket on the same day. I said home warranty would cover it so I can wait a week to get it fixed. They dragged it for a 3 weeks without sending the neccessary documents to get the approvals.I had to call warranty and this company atleast 8 times. After 3 weeks, they sent a breakdown amount of 1300$ for approval, 400 paid by home warranty and 900$ of non covered expenses to access the crawl space. I immediately call another plumber and he took care of it the same day and charged me 450 for it[ and i did not even negotiate]. He fixed it in one hour.
case 3: The toilet was leaking and the same company was assigned, they gave an appointment 13 days later. As soon as i saw the company name i decided to cancel the claim and fixed it with another plumber the same day for 100$. It was a peace of mind , I am sure they would have charged me 200$+ the amount i have to pay warranty and took another month to change the flapper
Never in my life i would use them again.

I used them to add Electrical Sockets and some plumbing. It took a little bit to get the appointment but once we were settling it was a tag team. One for plumbing and one for electrical. The workers were nice and both explained things. The Electrician was very very nice. The work was clean and they cleaned up any debris. I would use them again. Just be nice and patient because seems like the schedule can be busy and they may need to juggle. The work will get done. Bob came out for previous warranty work and was very nice. He is why I called to book the next service. Will use them again.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
GFCI outlet went out so I checked the power and breakers myself and breakers seemed to be fine with power, the outlet did not. Performance electrical came out for Choice warranty and they were unable to fix the problem. Performance electrical had no problem billing my warranty company for 2 hours so they could point a machine at every outlet and say I dont see power.
Should have checked the reviews before letting these goobers in my house.

I talk to Jim he was very rude to me and I told him I am going to give him a very bad review and he keep calling me back and harassing and he refused to finish the electrical problem I have now I see why he has so many bad reviews

AVOID if you use home warranty. They drag it out.
AVOID their plumbers as they don't know how to diagnose and fix the problems.
I had a plumbing issue which they claimed could be fixed in a day (and in fact I got it fixed in a day by another plumber). But they were NOT able to fix the issue in 2 MONTHS. They kept changing the fix for the problem and blamed covid/sick and gave appointments weeks apart for each subsequent follow-up. Blamed the warranty folks for delays(true to some extent -- I had a bad warranty co as well).
Not professional. Did not clean-up after themselves when they opened the drywall, did not cover the hole in the wall (I had to use a cello tape and paper towel to cover it as I did not have the right supplies).

I wish there was any negative rating option .We got connected to Performance Electrical through Choice warranty as our Water heater was not working. The Technician came from Performance Electrical and seemed to be a nice guy and told us that he will mention in his report that our water heater needs to be replaced. But when Choice warranty was ready for the replacement, Performance Electrical said that we have to pay additional 1000$ as our duct and wiring is old and it needs to be replaced which is not covered through warranty. We agreed to pay additional 1000$ by thinking that our whole system will be new. But to our surprise they replaced only water heater provided by the Warranty and nothing else except 15 inch copper pipe and I don't think 15 inch copper pipe costs 1000$. Now when we are trying to ask for an explanation then we are getting reply like 1000$ was charged for disposal of old heater and labour etc which is already covered by warranty. So guys please be aware of their scam.

They came out Aug 8th to fix our water heater. Technician said they would have to order a part and they will contact me in 2-3 days to schedule a time to return to repair the water heater. Week goes by, nothing. I call them to check status on the part, was told its back ordered, supply chain issues with their distributor. Ok, understandable. I had to call them every week to check the status, still back ordered. I found the exact same part is available from the water heater manufacturer, and its also available on AMAZON and numerous online retailers. So this tells me its not a back order issue, its a lazy issue. Over 2 months now (Oct 18th), and still not a word from them, never received a call or update about the repair.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
