I used A1 Plumbing and Perfect Air to clean my heating ducts, return air ducts and Clothes Dryer duct. Chris Matos was our Technician. I've used A-1 in the past for HVAC and plumbing needs and discovered that they also cleaned ducts. My wife and I were extremely pleased with Chris's work ethic and professionalism. I would recommended them for any of your HVAC, Plumbing and now Duct cleaning. If having ducts cleaned, ask for Chis, he is top notch.

I will never use A-1 plumbing and will warn my friends against using them as well. Their prices are outrageous. Our housekeeper flushed a pumice stone down our toilet and caused a blockage. I called A-1 because they were the first company to come up on Google. I was told that they would charge me $39.99 just to have someone come out and give me an estimate. I was busy that day so I agreed to the fee just to get started on getting the problem fixed. When the plumber showed up he quoted us $420 to take the toilet off and fix the clog. We were very surprised at the quote and we said that was way too much. He said he'd go outside and call his boss to see what he could do. He came back in and said that he would do the job for $385. Needless to say, we declined service. We called a competitor who not only doesn't charge for an estimate, but charged us $100 to do the job. FYI - the job took about an hour. I would recommend using another plumber unless you have money to burn. I wish I had checked Yelp before calling A-1. There are many other plumbing companies in town with great ratings.

A1 Plumbing is a company you should *most certainly* be cautious of, and if you do use them you should get a second opinion from another plumbing and heating and air conditioner company before deciding upon using.

My experience has been one mixed with an extremely rude technician (Josh Martinez) who openly laughed at and mocked my wife, and their second technician whom was sent out (Kirt) was nice enough yet tried to gouge me and my home warranty by falsely diagnosing our problem. Overall, had I went with this company, and I would have been out $4K for repairs or ended up having to replace my whole furnace system when all I needed was an blower motor replacement.

This company was extremely unwilling to work with my home warranty company, and even used words in their report which denied my claim w/my home warranty company - perhaps on purpose, if my experience with A1 has indicated anything. Their desire to smooth things over with my wife and I by sending out another technician whom was nicer than the previous yet attempted to rip me off was the reason this review is being written.

In short, do not use this company - and if you do, get a second opinion.

First experience with Josh M. and A-1 Plumbing/Perfect Air and had a great experience. Seemed sincerely to care about the client and well being. Was not oversold on anything but given recommendations of what he would be doing if it was his home. Felt very comfortable with the Josh and the Company's overall professionalism. Will use for some needed repairs in future.

Used A-1 for minor plumbing repair and did a great job. They offered ""free"" HVAC inspection in connection with this. We have lived in the house less than a year and the HVAC was certified at time of acquisition. Rep from A-1 came out and ""found"" several thousand dollars in problems and indicated health hazard if not repaired. Seemed strange to us so we called another reputable company in the area. Their rep found NOTHING needing repair and even asked (without being told) if the other company (we told him we had gotten a bid on some work) had indicated cracks in the heater box (or whatever it is called) which was exactly what the A-1 rep said. Second fellow assured us he checked this very carefully and there are no cracks. He sounded as though he has heard this before. Sure sounds like a rip-off in the making to me.

Our technician was fine. He was pleasant and fixed our problem.
My concern is the price. Too expensive for such a simple procedure.
Also, A-1 got the wrong date for service. And when they did get it write, they were under the impression that it was a water heater problem and not the toilet as I originally specified.

Call for pricing first they will try to over charge you! They came out to our house late, they said 9-12 and came at 12...all we needed was a kitchen faucet installed, we purchased it brand new in box and they said it would cost $438 to install it. It felt like he didn't want to do the work and we told him never mind the price was too high and we would take our business elsewhere. He said he could give us a discount maybe if he talked to his manager of $20...really? Called a few other places and they charge $120-$130. They were trying to take advantage of us. Will not do business with them again.

Great technicians, knowledgeable, prompt, they stay in touch. They don't charge you for anything more than they quote and will give you options. In my case they waived the service fee and I bought a maintenance service plan that covers both my plumbing and HVAC at a reasonable price. I'm happy! Definitely recommend

Jerry P. (the plumber) was very nice, professional and did good work - I would hire him again. They're more expensive than most valley companies (self-proclaimed) - just be aware.
