Just had a terrible experience with this company this morning.

I called on Saturday because my tenant explained that the shower was still backing up after we had tried to clear the clog with a small plastic snake. I figured the drain needed to be looked at and cleared with a larger snake or plunger. While someone was at the house I asked them to look at a few additional items.

A representative named Preston arrived this morning and essentially said that every single item needed to be replaced and that there were no other fixes that could be done. When I mentioned that a faucet could be fixed with a $2 part, he said I could try that but they didn't carry those parts - what the heck! He quoted me $21k for everything and ""just"" $1.2k to replace the necessary piping to clear the drain! Again he said that nothing else could be done. I was very leery as an inspection from 2 years ago had come back clear.

I called another plumber recommended by a friend (Dave Crowder - would highly recommend!) and he came by, showed me where the issue was, plunged/cleared the clog for $100 bucks.

Either this guy had no idea what he was doing or this company has taught him how to scam customers to bring in the bucks. Not pleased at all and am worried for those that will be taken advantage of.

My SO purchase an HVAC/AC, water heater maintenance check up. We were NOT having any problems with any of these systems. They were just getting older so thought a check-up would be a good idea.
When the service technician went through our furnace, he reported that there was a crack in the heat exchanger and was likely leaking carbon monoxide into the house! He even showed me a picture on his phone of the crack. He had to disable our furnace as it was a health hazard. I have a carbon monoxide detector on the opposite side of the wall and their employees told me that the detectors don't detect low levels, only dangerous levels above a certain level for several hours.

Within an hour, a Design Team member was there to look through the house to determine what replacement was best for us.

In the meantime, it was determined that our water heater was rusted and was beginning to leak through the bottom (again a picture was shown to me as proof).

The next day, the Design Team Member returned and offered us packages ranging from 15k basic furnace system, water heater and mini-split to 25K with multi-modal furnace, water heater and mini split. It seemed expensive but I felt like I needed to make a decision right away since we were out our furnace and water heater. When the design team member started with a payment plan, my flags went up. I opted for a second opinion.

The same day another HVAC repair person came out and looked up my furnace serial number and told me that the heat exchange part was still under warranty and can be replaced. When he came out the next day and opened up the furnace, he found that there was NO crack present.

Also, when we replaced the water heater, the pan below it wasn't wet at all. Surprising since it was leaking.

I cannot stand that there are unscrupulous businesses out there that are taking advantage of people with scare tactics. I want to warn others before they fall to this trickery!

Josh and Colten were exceptional in installing our new HVAC unit. They are professional, courteous and attentive. They arrived on schedule and kept us informed of their progress. They involved themselves in ensuring that we were informed on what to expect and asked if we had any questions. The entire experience dealing with Perfect Plumbing Heating & Air put us at ease and we knew we were in good hands.

We came back from a trip to find out our furnace was busted. We bought the house 6 months ago and just called the number on the sticker on the unit. The woman who answered was pleasant and understanding and got us a tech that day to look at our furnace. Donovan, the tech, was awesome! He explained everything that was wrong, that could be fixable and what couldn't be fixed. We decided to get a whole new system. John the sales guy was awesome too. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, and no pressure. We decided on a system and John got us next day install, all at 5pm!
The next day Paul and his team arrived at 0830, as scheduled and spent all day removing the old system, patching holes and rerouting exhaust pipes and installing the new system. These guys were amazing!!!! I can't thank them enough.
We will see how service after the sale goes, but if this is the type of service we can expect, they are our HVAC guys for life. Thank you Donovan, John and Paul for a job well done!

Our service was just okay. The problem was fixed, but I'm pretty confident we were grossly overcharged: $380 for something that took 30 minutes to fix. When I questioned the price I was told I was paying for the tech's knowledge, license and equipment... He also offered to do the whole thing for free if I bought a hot water heater from them, which was also horribly overpriced compared to other quotes we've received. However, when my husband came home the price of the water heater dropped $1000, of course. Upcharge the little woman of the house... Probably won't call again.

David arrived on time and did a good job tuning up the A/C. Very detailed with explanations on the work he did. We are going to use PPH & A for any future heating or cooling needs which will include replacement of a new AC unit in 2020!

Dean Caruso earns 5 stars for his work, neatness, and good attitude. I'm sure he does not have any control over the prices charged. Changing out an extra tall toilet for a standard height one and changing the inlet fittings should not cost over $900. But that is what we were charged. They had come out the previous week for unclogging a kitchen sink at $84. That seemed reasonable. But we signed up for a plan that was including one drain clear, no service charges, free annual check on air and heating units, 10% discount on all repairs. This service costs $239 per year. So I'm not sure if theses prices are fair??

This was our first time using Perfect Plumbing. The appointment was set up promptly for a time that worked for us. The technician, Jeff listened to our issues, went over options and was willing to start that day. I asked if he could come back the following day as I had a lot of stuff to move for him to have access to the areas he needed. He was at our house early the next morning to start. He worked efficiently and kept me posted as he worked as to what he was doing and why. We feel that he did a great job. He did not try to sell us other services or change our minds about what we wanted him to do.

Since Dan Long sold this place, the service has been horrible and extremely extremely expensive. Go to a simple place like Nallion Plumbing. They don't have moon-boots or little red floor mats, but provide honest pricing and quality service without the up-sell and markup. I will never go to Perfect Plumbing/A1 again! After 25 years, it's sad to see what a crappy place it's turned into.

1 star is too many!

today all i needed is one toilet with a cracked tank replaced, and one p-trap repaired under the kitchen sink.

had the work been completed as promised, i would have had more work for them to complete on another day. specifically, the re-plumbing of an entire house. they lack the integrity and ability to repair two simple fixtures. if they cannot manage such a small anount of work, how could they ever possibly manage more.

i called at 730am this morning and was promised by angela that ""they would complete the job today."" i sent her photographs and details of the work that i need done, and my private contact information for multiple telephone numbers and addresses.

at 1202pm natalie called to ""assure me that they were still going to be completing the work as promised.""

at 140pm natalie called to tell me that ""all their techs are on call for the remainder of the day."" i asked what that means. natalie said ""that means they will not be doing the work they promised to complete.""

what that really means is that angela lied at 730am. and natalie lied at 1202pm.

i asked to speak to the owner prior to posting this review. natalie transferred the call to another woman who tried multiple times ""not"" to let me speak to the owner. i was assertive and she finally transferred the call to the owner, marty.

marty's repsonse to the problem was nothing but meaningless words. marty asked me to provide him with a solution. i responded that i am not positioned to solve the problems caused by the dishonesty of his employees.

marty blamed me because he would have to ""let down"" another customer in order to keep their promise to complete the work at my property.

i read this review to marty and he still responded with no action.

clearly this company is dishonest and does not care about the customer.

i asked marty to remove all of my private personal information from all of their systems. he said he would as soon as we hung up. how can i possibly believe him? his employees lied to me multiple times, why would he be any different?

do not trust this company.

choose a better company.

do not be enamoured by their fancy looking logo-wrapped trucks and vans or their multitudes of sweet sounding commercials.

let their trucks and commercials be your warning that they care more about the way they appear than about the work they do, or the way they treat the customers.

i have been burned by the dishonesty of ""im""perfect plumbing heating and air. you are likely to be burned too.

choose a different company. one with integrity.

don't let your money support a dishonest group of people, making a wealthy man even wealthier, as he sustains a business that lacks integrity.
