Shawn is awesome!!!!

He recently redid out guest bathroom and was on time, professional, clean, didn't damage the rest of the bathroom with his install (which was tricky given our particular setup), finished on schedule, and the way the final tile lines ""landed"" on our walls was absolutely perfect.

I would highly recommend him to anyone in the San Diego area looking to have a tile or remodeling job done, he will take care of you!!!!

Shawn and his son did an absolutely amazing job on our bathtub/shower remodel!!! We had some previous water damage and needed someone ASAP to take out the old walls and retile and install new cast iron tub. He was booked 3 months out, but fit us in much much sooner. He completed the job in like 4 days in the crazy heat of Santee. Thank you so much for our gorgeous new shower!!! Also, our dog Lily absolutely adored Shawn and his son and whenever they had to go into the backyard to cut tile they'd give her lots of attention.

We are a local Interior Design Firm. We scheduled an Appointment with Shawn two months in advance. When it came time for the work to be done we were unable to get any response from him. We found this to be very unprofessional and would never recommend him again. We ended up moving forward with Flamingo Tile. They have been amazing to work with. Shawn is now our GO-TO contractor for all of our home projects. His work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail are truly amazing.

My husband and I remodeled our guest bathroom with a majority of the project being accomplished by Shawn. Originally, he was only contracted to do herringbone marble floors, a beautiful tiled shower with a niche, raised shower plumbing and replacement of our tub (which Shawn helped us out a ton when the tub we bought on our own came with a crack in it, he went and replaced it for us), ALL of which turned out beautifully, but turned out we needed him for a lot more.

When we found our vanity was not matching up with the plumbing in our wall, we had to call Shawn back out for his help. He ended up fixing our plumbing for our vanity, as well as installing the vanity, sinks and faucets! He did a truly FANTASTIC job.

What would have been a 3-4 month project for my husband and I, turned into a week long project for Shawn. We received quotes from two other companies which were extremely over priced and did not even compare to the quality of work we received from Shawn.

On top of all of that, Shawn ended up replacing a pedestal sink faucet (not an easy task if you've never tried it) for us in our 1/2 bath, which is something we had been needing to do for months.

Whatever your project, I HIGHLY recommend Shawn. Hands down one of the best people we have had the pleasure of working with. At the end of the day, he's GREAT at his job and a great person (which you definitely don't always find in a contractor).

Precision workmanship, quality materials, clean and organized equals stunning results! Patriot Tile remodeled my flooded, builder grade master bath into a dreamy coastal French Hotel. All of my requests fulfilled to the smallest detail and I couldn't be happier! I interviewed six local businesses and I received a wide range of bids and start dates. I chose Patriot Tile because of the owner Shawn and his work ethic. He does all of the work himself along with his loyal longtime employees. In addition, his support system of steady at the ready marble and glass fabricators are top notch! I personally wasn't looking for a smooth talking project manager dropping off strangers from the home depot lot. I wanted an owner operator and thats what I got and more! Good things are worth waiting for. If your lucky enough to be on Shawn's schedule you won't be disappointed. Entrepreneurship at its finest. Master of his craft. We just moved into our home and the fireplace was one of the first things I wanted to remodel. Shopped around for different contractors, in the end we couldn't be more pleased with the work that Shawn and his crew did to reface our fireplace. The job was done right on schedule, he cleaned up after each day keeping things tidy and neat. And was meticulous in the work he did. You can see that he understands what the customer wants. I gave him an explanation of the mantle I wanted and he and his carpenter delivered exactly what I was hoping for and more. We have recommended him to our friends and highly recommend him on yelp. My wife and I recently had Patriot Tile remodel our master shower. Our initial draw to this company was due to all of the high ratings. First off, I have to say Shawn was the ONLY contractor out of the couple of contractors we requested bids from that showed up on time and provided a proposal when he said he would. Secondly, I have to say I am a huge pain in the rear to work for because I have been in construction for so long and I always look at the details and ask a lot of questions, but Shawn answered all of my questions and I could tell he was very detail oriented. Shawn had some great suggestions that helped my wife with the design. Our shower turned out perfect and I would recommend Patriot tile to anyone. Shawn and his team are punctual, professional and turn out a really great product. I don't write a lot of reviews, this is my third review I have written on Yelp, but I am happy to give one when credit is due. Thanks again guys!

We had the main bathroom in our home totally remodeled by Shawn Burns and his staff, including a complete construction of a Roman tub/shower, and it is so impressive that every time I go in there I am amazed! We coordinated with him beforehand on the concept, the tile types and colors for the walls, the inset, and the floor. We also had the plumbing changed to raise the shower head for our tall son, recessed lighting installed, a new fan/light assembly with ducting, the wall outlet raised to accommodate the vanity, and the power box for the mirror overhead light raised for the new mirror and light assembly. The linoleum floor was replaced with thick wood-like tiles, and a new toilet was installed.

Shawn and his staff were all very personable, hardworking, and professional and very considerate of the rest of the house and yard. Every day when they finished work for the day they cleaned up very well and put away all of their tools.

We fully intend to have them replace all of the carpet in our home with wood-like tile, similar to those in the new bathroom as our next major project!
