Taber Sofianos we talked before he started working. He was very thorough with me about what he was going to do. I have owned many businesses over the years.
I wish I had an employee as good as him I would have used him as a salesman he has that ability the way he talks to people. Very positive attitude and very knowledgeable about hvac systems.

Charged $1117 to hydro jet my drain ...took 2 hours and was not fixed. That comes out to $550 an hour. That's more than brain surgeons charge and I need to find one for paying these guys that much and then wanted to charge $11k to redo the drain

Avoid. Came to me with a strong recommendation, but very disappointing, abysmal service. I had them install an R/O system and water softener, then opted for the VIP service plan to cover basic plumbing and HVAC checkups for it.

The original representative who did my install over a year ago was fantastic, but he is no longer with the company, I guess. Every visit since then has consisted of someone trying to up-sell me various things at astronomical prices. That is, if they show up.

I live in Maricopa, and I would warn anyone outside Phoenix to think twice about hiring this company. They bailed twice on me (the day of, each time) for my HVAC service back in April, then again today for my plumbing service. Long story short, they will only send service reps to Maricopa on certain days of the week. While I understand this, it's all the same to me. They established a pattern of failing to follow through, and so I was paying for service that was flaky and un-attentive. Can't make it to Maricopa? Don't offer service here. I don't want to hear it as an excuse. I also notice that their yelp profile here does not include Maricopa as being in their field of service. Why, then, were they willing to do a $4,500 install initially? Do they not plan on people using the VIP service that they have pre-paid? Are they OK making the trip for a big-ticket sale, then sticking it to me when I want the followups? Seems like it.

I called and spoke to Alesha (not sure if I heard the name correctly?) and inquired about canceling my service for a possible pro-rated refund. She informed me that because my plan had expired - even though the last visit wasn't used - that I could not get a refund. This seemed like an odd thing to me, and when I inquired about why I couldn't get a refund for services that were paid for but not yet rendered, she very condescendingly told me that ""most of their homeowners know that the visits can be used after the plan has expired.""

Perhaps I am not smart enough to get the best benefit from their VIP plan. I also trusted that it was a good deal because it came with a recommendation from a good friend. Or perhaps they obscure their service with backhanded fine-print that leaves you with no recourse when they fail to show up to perform services. Either way, they've lost my business, and I certainly won't be recommending them to anyone I know.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

We had an annual contract with Isley's Home Service (who were great), which was purchase by Patrick Riley a few months ago, to service our A/C and Heater once a year. So on May 4, 2023 Ben, from Patrick Riley, came to our home to service our A/C unit. He was great and sent me videos of things that did pass his inspection. At the end of his inspection, he recommended that we get a ""Compressor Hard Start Kit"" and it would be $694. We told him to go ahead and install it. Here's where we have a problem. The next day we decided to call two other reputable A/C companies to see how much they would charge. Well, the first company said it's about a 5 to 10 minute job, the part cost about $100 and they would charge $275 for the part and install. So ... we called the other company and they said they would charge $289. We called Patrick Riley and asked to speak to a manager. The young lady asked us what our issue was and we said we think we were overcharged. She said she would have someone call us in 24 to 48 hours and they did. Chris Reed called and we asked him why they charge more than double what the other two companies would charge. His reply was maybe their overhead isn't as high as theirs and we said you are kidding right ... more than double (140% more) ... we don't think so. We believe he asked what we were looking for and we said a $394 refund and he said something like that's not going to happen. I'm writing the review so others know to check other companies pricing before agreeing to Patrick Riley's. Hope this saves someone from being gouged.

Not only was I overcharged but the job was never finished. I had a repipe done to my home that was not completed, an outside water spout had been cut out but never replaced. My dishwasher was not reinstalled properly, it falls forward everyone its opened. Sink basin in master bath and toilet were never properly mounted nor serviced as promised. I've made three calls, they fail to respond to my concerns. I'm wondering if there was any other repipe runs that weren't completed. I'm 68 so as a senior citizen I feel as though they took advantage of me. Buyer beware this company is not professional at all. They make promises they don't keep!

We have had nothing but amazing service from Patrick Riley until this month. We had a routine service call (we are club members so we pay for annual service) and the individual suggested we get our coils and ducts cleaned (we love our cats, right!?) They upsold us on new duct work and the project was expensive - and long - so we had it completed a few weeks ago (took 4 hours or more). Then I go to prep my guest room and see that the 'return' is filthy, like massive dust bunnies coming through the vents - ones that I can pull and they come out like dryer liners full of dust packs. I don't know how to describe it...basically a cat without the body. We were confused - don't 'ducts' include returns. We called and sent someone out to confirm that the job had not been done well. Then after a couple no-shows, they came today to clean up. Not happy. Not sure what we will do. Glad they fixed the problem, but this is not good becuase we spent soooo much money and once they had the money we were no longer treated like 'club members'.

Patrick and riley offers a service and its worth it if they could provide it, i have had there service plan for years and found out you pay for it but they cant provide it . i set a appointment and they call to change the appointment on the day or a day before they don't respect you have to make time for them and what you have to do to insure you have the time and there excuses are not your concern, I will never again recommend them to anyone this problem has been going on over and over and i have gave them the benefit in the past but no more. i could go on but what's the point

Used these guys for my rental property in phoenix. They price gouge their customers and will try to sell you on a ""VIP"" package that they will actually not honor when you need them next. As an investor, I was referred to these guys, and used them a few times before realizing how much they were ripping me off.

If youre out of state like myself, or just don't know a ton about HVAC or Plumbing (also myself), dont go with these guys.

First off there ad says no service call fee. Larry was here for five minutes and my air was up and running . Wanted to charge 344.00 for this five minutes work ,said it was for troubleshooting and he replaced a fuse. Never mentioned this charge beforehand. Then came the estimate of what I needed to get it working right. Hard start kit 615.00 , electrical surge protector 384.00 , fan motor and cap 1201.00. plus to get this ,at these prices I had to ad the VIP package for 239.00.
I ended up getting the hard start kit and the VIP and surge protector. after some convincing on my part he removed the trouble shooting fee. Still ended up paying way to much for what was done 1238.00
I will not use this company again they are out to rob you blind.
They try real hard to sell you a new unit at a robbery price.
I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN. THERE PRICES ARE OUTRAGES !
