Patel's Plumbing was assigned to me through my home warranty program. My water heater was rusted and leaking. Mr Patel was able to order a new water heater that day and he installed it the next day. I thought Mr Patel was timely and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he was doing and even conducted testing to show me that the repiping was done correctly and not leaking. Overall, I was very happy with them.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
VERY unreliable!
I was assigned to them by my home warranty company. I called them on Wed. and they said that they were going to call me the next day to confirm the appointment. But they never called. I called them a day after and they told me that the repairman was on his way. What? I was outside so I could not go back. I had to reschedule my appoint with them for the following week.
On the day of service, the repairman never showed up. I called and they denied that they did make an appointment with me. I took a day off to wait for the repairman at home. I phoned again and the lady answering the phone did not even apologized, and insisted that it was my fault.
I am not going to work with them again.
VERY VERY unreliable!!!!
Don't waste your time on you.

Patel's Plumbing was assigned to me through my home warranty. There were three plumbing issues going simultaneously at my home: slow drainage, water heater working improperly, and a burst sewer pipe. On the day of my appointment, the technician cancelled about 10 minutes before my four window block and rescheduled for the next day. The next day the technicians showed up and appeared to be assessing the problems, but didn't seem real knowledgeable and could not give me definitive answers for why the problems with the plumbing occurred. He rodded out the tub that was draining slowing, took pictures of the pipe and never really told me why my water heater is running cold and lukewarm. He told me that he had hoped to be working on the job through my home warranty insurance in about two days. I called my home warranty insurance after two days to report that the drain had returned to the same condition (draining slowly) and to find out the update on the rest of my claim. I was told that the technician reported that my water heater was too small and the pipe was an existing problem and had been leaking for a while. I explained to my insurance that he was dishonest and his report was illogical. I also explained to her I have had the same 40 gallon gas water heater for about 10 years and I have never had to take cold showers or boil hot water to wash dishes until this month. I also explained that the burst sewer pipe happened all in one day and I have proof because a water mitigation company came out to clean up the raw sewage off my kitchen, living room and basement floors, and they also removed the wall because there was water damage and raw sewage in it. I was very disappointed in the outcome. Patel's work ethic is poor and the work he did on this job was shoddy. I have pay new deductible for another plumber to come out because of his inaccurate report to my home warranty company.

I contacted my home warranty company about a dying water heater and was assigned to Patel's Plumbing. I called the company around 9:00am and was told their dispatcher would call me to set an appointment. A short while later I was called and an appointment was set same day for between 2pm and 6pm. 6:30pm came and still no plumbers. I called them and received no answer. I contacted the warranty company and they too received no answer. The service was reassigned to a more reliable plumber. Shortly after that happened the warranty company called back and said Patel's said the appointment was actually 3pm-7pm. So not only did they no show-up for their appointment, not only did they not return my phone calls, they turned around and called me a liar. Stay away from Patel's Plumbing, if the warranty company says your claim has been assigned to them ask for a different provider. These people are unreliable and unethical.

Patel's Plumbing was through the same Home Warranty company as the other reviewers. They took my copay and never bothered to actually show up after the first time. They're scam artists, with their scam artist warranty company.

We've now been without gas for a week and a half. I'm sick of cold showers.

They are thug. Mr. patel will show you his plumbing license.
Then find out you are first time home buyer. Then he will say oh your deductible is 250 and another 150 for rotting. so he scamed 400 dollars for rotting outside my home because he had to do that twice. he is jerk and will put you on spot.
Being new home buyer did't know that real cost is around $120.
He performed job at night time around 8 pm so he said have to charge double.
Complete scam.

My very negative experience is the same as nearly all the other reviewers here. If you call them with anything connected to a home warranty, they'll show up just to collect the $75 visit fee. After he leaves, he colludes with the home warranty company to deny your request for flimsy and contrived reasons. This outfit is dishonest trash that gives a bad name to honest contractors.

We had a leak in our second floor bathroom one night, which caused a mini-flood in our front hall, directly below the bathroom. The next morning, I called our home warranty company, who said that Patel's Plumbing would come to the house to deal with the issue. We would need to pay Patel's $75. Patel's would call us in 24 hours, or we could call them directly. I called them directly and was told that a plumber would come to the house the following day between 1 and 5. I asked for a text message when the plumber was 30 minutes away, so that I could come home from work to meet him.

The next day, no text came. I got home a little early, which was great, because the plumber happened to be there. He seemed like a nice guy. He diagnosed the problem and said he'd need to find parts and would be in touch. We wrote him a check for $75.

Then: nothing. No calls, no information, nothing. We'd call Patel's, we'd call the home warranty company, we'd listen to hold music. Oh, parts were on order. ""We'll call when they come in."" No calls, no information and of course, no shower!

On day 16 of the ordeal, we called BPG Home Warranty company and asked for a different plumber. This time, the company name didn't even match the phone number and we never heard from them.

Calling the BBB! This company is AWFUL! We had a sump pump replaced through them in October. Well, with all this rain, it failed. They didn't replace it because they only offer a 90 day warranty. WHAT??? Through our home warranty company, they called someone else who said that the sump pump looked second hand and there wasn't even a brand on it. Company will do NOTHING. They do NOT stand by their products. The receptionist is rude and wouldn't even call me back. Do NOT use this company!

Patel's Plumbing was assigned to me through my home warranty program and he has been to my house for two separate issues. The first was a toilet seal leak- which was addressed and fixed within 5 minutes of him being there. The second was for my hot water heater- he came out and replaced it when it rusted out through the bottom. The owner and his co-worker were very helpful and knowledgable. Everything is now working fine. I will definitely be calling them in the future for any more plumbing issues I may have in my house.
