Palm Springs Plumbing
Company Overview
Established in 1942, our commitment to the Coachella Valley spans more than 78 years. Through countless commercial and residential projects in the area, our family is proud to have influenced the growth of Palm Springs and the vibrant Coachella Valley.
It all began in 1942 when Oscar and Selma Mandinach relocated from Los Angeles to establish Palm Springs Plumbing at 208 N. Indian Canyon. What followed is a remarkable history. After nearly 70 years, including 38 years at the 208 location, Palm Springs Plumbing transitioned to our current site at 3800 E. Vista Chino, within the Palm Springs Plumbing Plaza. In our plaza, we are neighbors with Libbot Pools, Desert Promotional, and Embroidery.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with several notable celebrities: Including producer Darryl and Virginia Zanuck, Al Capone, Walt Disney, Red Skelton, Desi Arnaz's Indian Wells Hotel, and local trailblazers Ruth Hardy, Nelly Coffman, and Katherine Finchy. We have also worked with Sydney and Alexandra Sheldon, Liberace, Kirk and Anne Douglas, William Holden, Bob and Dolores Hope, President and First Lady Gerald and Betty Ford, Ambassador Walter and Lenore Annenberg, Ambassador James Kemper, Harpo Marx, Sam and Gladys Rubenstein, Dinah Shore, and Charles and Lucille Demerest, to name just a few!
As a third-generation owner of this family-run business and a previous president of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, I have observed our development into one of the valley's most established plumbing companies. Growing up in Palm Springs gives me a unique perspective on the Coachella Valley and its residents, enabling us to cater to our customers' needs effectively. Our goal is to be more than just another plumbing service; we prioritize getting to know our customers. We are here to provide what you need and guide you through your plumbing requirements to ensure the best possible experience. We aim to please and look forward to working with you.

This company is fantastic. We have used them for years. Made the mistake of calling General Air Conditioning and Plumbing to work on our Bosh on demand water heater. They said it was a water pressure problem and replaced out water pressure regulator at the cost of $600. When they left we had next to no water pressure and said we had problems with our piping. We called Palm Springs Plumbing they discovered General installed the pressure regulator backwards, fixed that in a matter of minutes. They also discovered General was checking the neighbors meter instead of ours. We will always call Palm Springs Plumbing in the future first.

I needed a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal replaced. Called and spoke to Greg. He was professional and very friendly. He told me he was busy but if a cancellation happened he would contact me. Well later that afternoon he in fact called me. The gentleman came and did an outstanding job. He was friendly and very informative. Let me know what was going on. He wore a mask as did I. Palm Springs plumbing provided the best price I found. Although nobody wants to need a plumber. However if you find yourself in need of one, definitely give them a call. Thank you again for the help

Called and scheduled moving some supply lines and adding a hose bib on the patio. Communication was great with Greg and Gary arrived on time and did a great job. It is so nice to have things happen like they are suppose to and like I expected. Second time I have used them and will do so again in the future without hesitation.

This company restored my faith in both honesty, compassion and professionalism among tradesmen. I called Palm Springs Plumbing after my gas had been turned off for over 4 days due to leak. I initially called another plumbing company (see Yelp) who scheduled an appointment in 3 days to give me an estimate and then failed to show for another day and a half. All the time I have been without heat or hot water while my 11 month sick grandchild was visiting. After waiting 5 days, the first company finally showed and gave me an inflated estimate which I almost took out of desperation but decided to just pay the $68.00 estimate fee and get another price. I called Palm Springs Plumbing and told them the situation. They said they were really busy but would get back to me. Greg, from the company called me back shortly and said they had moved a couple jobs due to my urgency and would send someone out. They arrived as promised, completed the job for half the price, and now I have hot water and heat after five days without. They also gave me a very reasonable estimate for changing out my water heater. Thanks again both Greg and Gary

Let's be perfectly clear: This company is, by leaps and bounds, the finest, speediest, most professional, most skillful plumbing company in the Valley. I have tried several plumbing companies, so I know what I'm talking about. This FAMILY company does business the old-fashioned way: They do the work, and then charge you for their time and parts. And that's it. DO NOT use one of those companies that offer a ""set price"" for certain jobs regardless of how long it takes them to do it (unless you want to be overcharged for a job that was rushed and done poorly). That's not the way this company operates. Their employees are friendly, trustworthy, and reliable, and they always show up when they say they will. I love this company.
I cannot explain the poor reviews on this site, except to guess that it might be some of their competitors.

PS Plumbing is the best in the desert. Called with an emergency and they came out within hours to assess and appointment set to do the work. The repair was done with care and even though they had to open a wall everything was done neatly and very professional. We will always use this company and all the employees are just great.

By far, the worst customer service we've encountered in the Valley! The company sent two people to scope out the job; a tub to shower conversion we had contracted with Sears 2 months ago. They stated that they could do it, and we were told that they would coordinate further action from Sears to keep the project on track. It did not happen. I've spoken to two people from this plumbing company, one of whom said that they had communicated that they were declining the job. Total fabrication. They were prompt showing up, but have displayed a complete lack of professional integrity and communication ever since. Run for your lives: do not count to live up to their commitments.

Palm Springs Plumbing is a great company to do business with. The project I had was no problem for PSP. They came out to give me an estimate and was on time for our appointment. The installation of my outdoor shower was done to my specifications and was done in a few hours. Very friendly employees and very knowledgeable. I am so happy I found a great plumbing service.

After our previous favorite plumber retired, I tried a couple of companies that didn't work out well (poor customer service and not so great work). I tried Palm Springs Plumbing after reading a couple of recommendations on Next Door and have not been disappointed. They were able to fix a leak under our kitchen sink that other services had failed to fix, and last week completed a job that another service had indicated was too difficult to undertake. Greg, who I assume is the owner, is very responsive and helpful on the phone and plumbers Gary and Mike have been great. Their prices seem reasonable and their latest work for us cost less than I expected, given the intensive labor it required.

I live in a mid-century neighborhood with mid century plumbing, so I was very concerned when my water line started leaking in my front yard. Palm Springs Plumbing just replaced my rusty old water pipe with a shiny new PVC pipe from the front of my house to the street. Not only were they quick and responsive, but they were very reasonable. They took the time to explain to me the best approach and were extremely thorough. After speaking with several alternative plumbing companies about fixing this problem, Palm Springs Plumbing were definitely the most direct, honest and responsible. A+++
