This is my second review for Pacific Drain and Rooter Service.
My water heater was leaking and I call to make an appointment with Pacific Drain.
On the phone i was told I probably would need a new heater and we discussed the price.
I had to work that day, left the key for them.
When I got home my old water heater was there with a note to call. (I don't use a cell phone when i am at work.) I called expecting the worse -- you not only need a new water heater BUT new --bla bla bla.
To my surprise I was told I did not need a new water heater, but only a new valve, they would return with the new valve, drain my heater and put the valve in.
The total price including labor $100.
There more.
My water heater is on a tiny back room used for nothing but the heater and washer and dryer. For years for some reason I never have cleaned it.
When I returned home from work the day they put the new valve in, to my surprise they mopped the floor. It was like a got a new room in my house. The floor was sparkling!
The plumbers i used in the past never even cleaned their own mess, let alone mine.
It is so nice to have a plumber that you trust; I am from New York and in I think it it a little harder for us to trust people.

It is refreshing to call a company and for them to tell you that you can repair the item yourself. I'm glad that he has faith in me... We will see what I will be able to do with an allen wrench and a garbage disposal. He said that he would be available if I was not able to fix it. I will definitely be calling them back when the next plumbing problem arises!

I consider myself a strong, capable, intelligent, problem solving person. So does my wife. But when we started trying to change the faucet in our bathroom, the issues that we ran into nearly had us both in tears. Nasir to the rescue! Super flexible and friendly, Nasir gave us money saving tips along with a bathroom that worked again. So glad to have met him...we are never mucking with plumbing again--we're just calling Nasir!

We called Pacific Drain & Rooter after our ancient water shutoff valve broke off in my husband's hand. Nasir came out within a few days (after ascertaining this wasn't an urgent call), sized up the damage and gave us a quote; then came back a few days later to put in a replacement for less than his original estimate. We will definitely be using these guys again. Thanks!

Update: Pacific Drain did a great job on my toilet in June 2014 - they responded quickly, fixed the problem in five minutes and charged a VERY reasonable fee. Then, a couple of weeks ago (July 2015), my kitchen sink started leaking badly. Just like always, Pacific Drain responded quickly, did a great job on the sink, and charged a reasonable amount. Also, these guys have a great attitude, which is nice when someone is working in your home!

I called yesterday due to a leaking main water valve and had to leave a message. I got a call back within an hour and I was able to schedule an appointment for this afternoon. Nasir came by when he said he would, checked out the issue and simply tightened the valve without charge! I appreciate his professionalism and generosity, especially at 5:30 pm on a Friday night. If we need a plumber in the future,we know to call on him! Thanks, Nasir!

It's been about 3 years since our sewer was last cleaned out. We live on a hillside with lots of trees and vegetation and have had the sewer clogged with a toilet back up many years ago. Since then, we've tried to keep it maintained on a regular basis. I've been worrying about it lately and called Nasir to come out for a preventive maintenance. He's a busy busy guy and couldn't come out right away but it wasn't an emergency. Once his schedule freed up and his partner could help carry the equipment down the hill, he did the job efficiently and professionally. Super nice guy!

Sorry, but a plumber who says the job is done and then leaves without testing so that I get a flood in my kitchen is NOT quality service. Nasir is currently here on his 4th trip trying to get things right. Not a complex job, just the pipes under the kitchen sink. Since he started working, the garbage disposal stopped working and he's saying he ""never touched it"" when I watched him dismount it so he could plumb to it. And the flood that happened was because he didn't secure disposal and left it hanging loose. Bottom line is incompetence and lying.

When my drain backed up into my tub, I called my friend's husband who is a plumber and he highly recommended a local guy who works on drain pipes but he was on vacation, however, his voicemail recommended PACIFIC DRAIN & ROOTER SERVICE and I'm sure glad he did because these guys were great!! My plumbing odessy ended when they arrived - Nazir was very knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and easy to work with. I would definately use their services again without reservation. Hassle-free, professional, and fair prices.
