It's been about 3 years since our sewer was last cleaned out. We live on a hillside with lots of trees and vegetation and have had the sewer clogged with a toilet back up many years ago. Since then, we've tried to keep it maintained on a regular basis. I've been worrying about it lately and called Nasir to come out for a preventive maintenance. He's a busy busy guy and couldn't come out right away but it wasn't an emergency. Once his schedule freed up and his partner could help carry the equipment down the hill, he did the job efficiently and professionally. Super nice guy!

Sorry, but a plumber who says the job is done and then leaves without testing so that I get a flood in my kitchen is NOT quality service. Nasir is currently here on his 4th trip trying to get things right. Not a complex job, just the pipes under the kitchen sink. Since he started working, the garbage disposal stopped working and he's saying he ""never touched it"" when I watched him dismount it so he could plumb to it. And the flood that happened was because he didn't secure disposal and left it hanging loose. Bottom line is incompetence and lying.

When my drain backed up into my tub, I called my friend's husband who is a plumber and he highly recommended a local guy who works on drain pipes but he was on vacation, however, his voicemail recommended PACIFIC DRAIN & ROOTER SERVICE and I'm sure glad he did because these guys were great!! My plumbing odessy ended when they arrived - Nazir was very knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and easy to work with. I would definately use their services again without reservation. I have been calling Pacific Drain for plumbing problems for over 15 years. My old pipes need to be cleared at least once a year. It never fails - the bathrooms start backing up on a Friday night or on a weekend. Nasir is ALWAYS friendly and responsive - even when I'm in a panic. We called about a backed up kitchen sink at about 10am on sunday morning- Nasir was here before 11 and the sink was fixed before 11:30. Simple, straight forward good service (with very reasonable price)-- We will definitely use them again and recommend their service to friends.

I am normally wary of any company with all 5 star yelp reviews, but I gave it a shot anyway. I called Pacific Drain & Rooter service today after finding that my outflow to the sewer had overflowed. Each time I used the sink or flushed a toilet, it would burble up and make a mess . I spoke with somebody and he said they would be out this evening. Prior to his arrival, he called to give me ETA and was actually a bit earlier than expected. I showed him the issue and within 20 minutes, they had diagnosed the problem and fixed it. When i asked questions and he truly could have gotten far more money out of me long term considering my ignorance on plumbing issues, but he gave me honest answers. I couldn't be happier with the punctuality, service, professionalism and price. I highly recommend this company if you are in the east Bay Area and need an honest plumbing service.

I called Nazim and Nasir to give an estimate for a few problems we had with plumbing in our new house. Not only they gave me good advice and estimate about fixing the problems, they even resolved the water stream for the fridge, which involved going up the attic which is hard to access, inspecting the pipes there and opening a valve. Remarkably they declined to be paid for this!
Importantly, they were also very clear in explaining the root causes of the issues.
I'm sure we'll call them again . I recommend Pacific Drain to anyone who needs a good plumber.

My rental property in Martinez had a clogged toilet that the tenant could not resolve. I called Pacific Drain for an estimate and Nazir gave me a very reasonable price range. He could not come to the property for a couple days but when he arrived he was able to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem. The total cost was at the minimum of the quoted range, which made the delay well worth it. This experience was very honest, on time, and professional.
