Wouldn't give a ballpark estimate over the phone, which I stated I knew could change, to fix a pre-diagnosed problem described in detail. $160 fee to come to Brooklyn and diagnose an already known problem. Untrustworthy.

I recently used PAC to replace our 33 year old central air conditioning system. They were on time, courteous and very clean. I would highly recommend this company (in fact have already contacted them for our heating system replacement). Paul and his employees were very professional.

Came recommended by my management company but two bad experiences have left me very skeptical. The first was an attempt to replace a leaky faucet. Simple job. Our water pressure was not great to begin with. But we ended up with even less pressure after new faucet. So I asked them to come back and address it. A problem they caused, that wasn't there before, I shouldnt have had to pay for. Alas, several hundred dollars later and no discernible difference in pressure. Then on top of that the faucet kept coming loose and swiveling around. I should have learnt my lesson the first time... The next time was an error code on the tankless water heater, which I had already diagnosed because I had the manual. They insisted on coming over to diagnose something they already knew was the problem and charge me for a house call where they did nothing besides tell me in person what they could have told me on the phone. They THEN told me unit needed to be completely replaced at the cost of about 5k. I got a second opinion, and was told that no, it was actually just that the cold weather was messing with the sensor and to make sure the ambient room temp was higher. Problem fixed.

My furnace stopped working last Saturday night, and I called several vendors to fix the problem. One of them was PAC, and they were only 1 of 2 vendors that called me back. They came Sunday morning and were very nice, and they fixed the problem. I would recommend this business. Nick and his team were great.

I have been using P.A.C. Plumbing for the past 2 years and have a yearly service agreement with them. They come out each year to check that the furnace and the air conditioner are in proper working order and they do any cleaning or repairs that are required. They are always on time and the techs are always willing to answer any questions.

I recently used PAC and am very pleased with everything they did for me . I had a horrific situation dealing with changing of headers and valves that lead to my gas meters . Nightmare of a job but these guys were awesome ! Bobby and Andrew deserve all the credit, it was a tough job but there dedication and experience made it happen ! I would highly recommend!

I have been using Paul and his crew for over 10 years. I couldn't be happier with their service. Always professional. Always there when I need them. The work is top notch. Licensed to work in both NY and NJ, they always perform to the higher NY codes. NJ plumbers and contractors that have been in my home have commented on their top quality work. The other area plumbers don't come close. Carol is always helpful and pleasant. Nick recently did a great job maintaining both of my tankless water heaters. Jose came within hours of my call to fix a leaking water main. All of the staff I encounter is knowledgeable and willing to educate.

Description of work:

On 21 Nov 2016, I scheduled PAC to have my tankless water heater descaled and to get an proposal on a larger project that involved low water pressure to my fixtures.


They charged $1,257.25 for the descaling, which is very expensive for 2 hours work but I paid it in good faith as I was anticipating the proposal on a larger project. Then the nightmare began. Since 21 Nov 2016 until 28 Dec 2016, I had been calling and emailing for the proposal -- almost twice a week. I got several excuses and an email back from the owner saying we will get back to you next week. I just gave up. I feel taken for paying the high price for the descaling as I thought I was going to get professional follow up with my larger proposal. This company does not follow up and has horrible customer service. I would not recommend them for any project as given their dealing with me, you will just waste your time and money.

After owning our home for over 23 years with absolutely no gas service to the house, my husband and I finally took the plunge and converted over from oil to gas. Several months of bids, proposals and frustrating almost caused us to give up trying. Then at the last minute, we called PAC Plumbing and immediately knew we found the right company for the job.
Paul is personable, reliable and fairly priced. He and his entire team (both onsite and in the office) helped make the entire process a smooth transition and walked us through step by step.
